Ryanodane diterpenoids structurally share an extremely complex fused ring system, but differ in the substitution patterns of the hydroxy groups. Since these congeners exhibit various biologically important functions, their efficient chemical constructions have been greatly anticipated. We previously accomplished the total synthesis of ryanodine ( 1 ) using pentacycle 8 as the advanced intermediate. Here, we report the unified total syntheses of four distinct diterpenoids, 3‐epi‐ryanodol ( 3 ), cinnzeylanol ( 4 ), cinncassiols B ( 5 ), and A ( 6 ), from 8 , all within 10 steps. A series of highly optimized chemo‐ and stereoselective reactions and protecting‐group manipulations enabled assembly of the densely oxygenated structures of 3 – 6 . Furthermore, the present synthetic studies established the C13S stereochemisty of 5 – 7 and revised the proposed structures of natural ryanodol ( 2 ) and cinnacasol ( 7 ) to be those of 3 and 6 , respectively. 相似文献

The highly enantioselective organocatalytic construction of spiroindanes containing an all‐carbon quaternary stereocenter by intramolecular Friedel–Crafts‐type 1,4‐addition is described. The reaction was catalyzed by a cinchonidine‐based primary amine and accelerated by water and p‐bromophenol. A variety of spiro compounds containing quaternary stereocenters were obtained with excellent enantioselectivity (up to 95 % ee). Interfacial water in the vicinity of lipids plays an important role in many biological processes, such as drug delivery, ion transportation, and lipid fusion. Hence, molecular‐level elucidation of the properties of water at lipid interfaces is of the utmost importance. We report the two‐dimensional heterodyne‐detected vibrational sum frequency generation (2D HD‐VSFG) study of the OH stretch of HOD at charged lipid interfaces, which shows that the hydrogen bond dynamics of interfacial water differ drastically, depending on the lipids. The data indicate that the spectral diffusion of the OH stretch at a positively charged lipid interface is dominated by the ultrafast (<~100 fs) component, followed by the minor sub‐picosecond slow dynamics, while the dynamics at a negatively charged lipid interface exhibit sub‐picosecond dynamics almost exclusively, implying that fast hydrogen bond fluctuation is prohibited. These results reveal that the ultrafast hydrogen bond dynamics at the positively charged lipid–water interface are attributable to the bulk‐like property of interfacial water, whereas the slow dynamics at the negatively charged lipid interface are due to bound water, which is hydrogen‐bonded to the hydrophilic head group. 相似文献

The linear-type heterometallic tetramers, [Mn(III)(2)(5-MeOsaltmen)(2)M(II)(2)(L)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2) x 2H(2)O (MII = Cu, 1a; Ni, 2a), where 5-MeOsaltmen(2-) = N,N'-(1,1,2,2-tetramethylethylene) bis(5-methoxysalicylideneiminate), and H(2)L = 3-{2-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-2-methyl-propylimino}-butan-2-one oxime, have been synthesized and characterized from structural and magnetic points of view. These two compounds are isostructural and crystallize in the same monoclinic P2(1)/n space group. The structure has a [M(II)-NO-Mn(III)-(O)(2)-Mn(III)-ON-M(II)] skeleton, where -NO- is a linking oximato group derived from the non-symmetrical Schiff-base complex [M(II)(L)] and -(O)(2)- is a biphenolato bridge in the out-of-plane [Mn(2)(5-MeOsaltmen)(2)](2+) dimer. The solvent-free compounds, 1b and 2b, have also been prepared by drying of the parent compounds, 1a and 2a, respectively, at 100 degrees C under dried nitrogen. After this treatment, the crystallinity is preserved, and 1b and 2b crystallize in a monoclinic P2(1)/c space group without significant changes in their structures in comparison to 1a and 2a. Magnetic measurements on 1a and 1b revealed antiferromagnetic Mn(III)---Cu(II) interactions via the oximato group and weak ferromagnetic Mn(III)---Mn(III) interactions via the biphenolato bridge leading to an S(T) = 3 ground state. On the other hand, the diamagnetic nature of the square planar Ni(II) center generates an S(T) = 4 ground state for 2a and 2b. At low temperature, these solvated (a) and desolvated (b) compounds display single-molecule magnet behavior modulated by their spin ground state. 相似文献

The rotational correlation time (tau(2R)) is determined for D(2)O (polar) and C(6)D(6) (apolar) in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([bmim][Cl]) and hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF(6)]) by measuring (2)H (D) nuclear magnetic resonance spin-lattice relaxation time (T(1)) in the temperature range from -20 to 110 degrees C. The tau(2R) ratio of water to benzene (tau(WB)) was used as a measure of solute-solvent attraction. tau(WB) is 0.73 and 0.52 in [bmim][Cl] and [bmim][PF(6)], respectively, whereas the molecular volume ratio is as small as 0.11. The slowdown of the water dynamics compared to the benzene dynamics in ionic liquids is interpreted by the Coulombic attractive interaction between the polar water molecule and the anion. As for the anion effect, the rotational dynamics of water solvated by Cl(-) is slower than that solvated by PF(6) (-), whereas the rotational dynamics of benzene is similar in the two ionic liquids. This is interpreted as an indication of the stronger solvation by the anion with a larger surface charge density. The slowdown of the water dynamics via Coulombic solvation is actually significant only at water concentrations lower than approximately 9 mol dm(-3) at room temperature, and it is indistinguishable at temperatures above approximately 100 degrees C. The quadrupolar coupling constants determined for D(2)O and C(6)D(6) in the ionic liquids were smaller by a factor of 2-3 than those in the pure liquid state. 相似文献

A simple and sensitive method for the determination of isophorone in food samples was developed by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Isophorone was separated within 10 min by GC-MS using a DB-1 capillary column and detected with selective ion monitoring mode. The HS-SPME using a polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene (PDMS/DVB) fiber provided effective sample enrichment, and was carried out by fiber exposition at 60 degrees C for 45 min. The extracted isophorone was easily desorbed by fiber exposition in the injection port of a capillary GC-MS system, and carryover was not observed. Using this method, the calibration curve of isophorone was linear in the range 20-1000 pg/mL, with a correlation coefficient 0.9996 (n = 18), and the detection limit (S/N = 3) was 0.5 pg/mL. The HS-SPME/GC-MS method showed 25,000-fold higher sensitivity than the direct injection method (1 microL injection). The within-day and between-day precisions (relative standard deviations) at the concentration of 1 ng/mL isophorone were 3.9% and 6.1% (n=5), respectively. This method was successfully applied to the analysis of food samples without interference peaks. The recoveries of isophorone spiked into food sample were above 84% for a 50 or 500 pg/mL spiking concentration. The H/D exchange reaction and the rotational dynamics of heavy water (D2O) are studied at 50 degrees C in the ionic liquid, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([bmim][Cl]), in the [D2O] range of 3-55 M. The initial H/D exchange rates are observed as 1.0 x 10(-7), 4.5 x 10(-6), 1.0 x 10(-5), 4.1 x 10(-5), 1.1 x 10(-4), and 3.7 x 10(-4) s(-1), respectively, at [D2O] of 2.8, 7.1, 8.1, 11, 15, and 25 M. The rate is very slow and less than 10(-5) s(-1) at [D2O] below approximately 7 M. It steeply increases to the order of 10(-4)s(-1) for 7 M < [D2O] < 10 M, and linearly increases with [D2O] in the more water-rich region. The intercept of the linear region at [D2O] = approximately 9 M is interpreted by considering that each chloride anion deactivates 1.6 equiv water molecules due to the strong solvation. Correspondingly, the rotational correlation time of D2O at [D2O] < 7 M is 1 order of magnitude larger than that in water-rich conditions. 相似文献

Discerning the origins of the phosphorescent aggregation-induced emission (AIE) from Pt(II) complexes is crucial for developing the broader range of photo-functional materials. Over the past few decades, several mechanisms of phosphorescent AIE have been proposed, however, not have been directly elucidated. Herein, we describe phosphorescence and deactivation processes of four class of AIE active Pt(II) complexes in the crystalline state based on experimental and theoretical investigation. These complexes show metal-to-ligand and/or metal−metal-to-ligand charge transfer emission in crystalline state with different heat resistance against thermal emission quenching. The calculated energy profiles including the minimum energy crossing point between S0 and T1 states were consistent with the heat resistant properties, which provided the mechanism for AIE expression. Furthermore, we have clarified the role of metal-metal interaction in AIE by comparing two computational models. 相似文献
