Thalictrumminus L. var. microphyllum Boiss. (Ranunculaceae) has yielded (+)-istanbulamine (5) which is the first aporphine-benzylisoquinoline formed from one (+)-reticuline-type unit linked to a (+)-N-methylcoclaurine moiety. The selective oestrogen receptor modulator tamoxifen is a leading agent in the adjuvant treatment of breast cancer. Several organometallic moieties have been vectorised with tamoxifen, in order to improve on the latter's antiproliferative properties by the addition of a potentially cytotoxic moiety, and have been evaluated versus both oestrogen receptor positive (MCF7) and oestrogen receptor negative (MDA-MB231) breast cancer cells. For tamoxifen analogues with ((R,R)-trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane)platinum(II), cyclopentadienyl rhenium tricarbonyl, and ruthenocene tethers, there was no enhancement of the antiproliferative effect on oestrogen receptor positive cells, nor any cytotoxic effect on oestrogen receptor negative cells, while those containing cyclopentadienyl titanium dichloride showed an oestrogenic effect. However, compounds where ferrocene replaces tamoxifen's phenyl ring were strongly cytotoxic against both cell lines. The synthesis and biological results of these compounds is reviewed and placed in the historic context of inorganic compounds in therapy.  相似文献

The proton and metal complex equilibria of trans-cyclohexane-1,2-diamine-N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(methylenephosphonic acid) (CDTP) with lanthanide(iii) ions, where Ln(III) = La(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Eu(III), Gd(III), Tb(III), Ho(III) and Lu(III) were studied. The stoichiometry, protonation and complex formation constants were determined by potentiometric titration at 25.0 degrees C and ionic strength of 0.1 mol dm(-3) (KCl). All metal ions form several species: [LnH4L]-, [LnH3L](2-), [LnH2L](3-), [LnHL](4-), [LnL](5-), [LnH(-1)L](6-) and [LnH(-2)L](7-) in the pH range between 2 and 11. The stability constants log beta(LnL) were found to be between 14.7 and 16.7. The studied complexes were also characterized by spectroscopic methods (31P NMR, UV-Vis absorption and emission spectroscopy). These studies allowed to reveal a distinct structural change of the Ln(III)-CDTP complex which occurs between protonated and hydroxy species in solutions at pH around 7.5. The major change is caused by the involvement of both nitrogen donors in the metal ion coordination occurring in ML species. The data obtained from UV-Vis spectroscopy allowed to draw conclusions about complex symmetry and to estimate a number of coordinated water molecules. The hydration number or more precisely the number of two OH oscillators was found to be approximately one in all species formed over the pH range between 5 and 10. The structure of the major hydroxy complex was supported by X-ray crystallographic data. The crystal structures of the Eu(III) and Tb(III) complexes clearly show that the CDTP ligand is coordinated to the Ln(III) ion by two nitrogen and four oxygen atoms in such a way that only one oxygen atom from each phosphonic group is placed in the lanthanide inner sphere. The monomeric complex anion is connected to a symmetry related ion through short hydrogen bonds formed by two hydroxy ions and one water molecule. In this way the two neighbouring anions form a quasi-dimer in which one of the Ln(III) ion is seven-coordinate (two N atoms, four O atoms and one hydroxy ion) and the other is eight-coordinate (two N atoms, four O atoms, one hydroxy ion and one water molecule).  相似文献

In this paper we present a joint experimental and theoretical approach for the study of the assembly of end-substituted oligothiophenes at surfaces with different polarities (i.e., mica vs graphite). Scanning probe microscopy studies of (sub)monolayer deposits show various types of structures (one-dimensional fibrils, two-dimensional regular layers, and monolayers), depending on the nature of the end groups and the substrate. Using molecular modeling with an atomistic approach, we focus on the interplay between the molecule-molecule (and segment-segment) interactions and the molecule-substrate interactions and their influence on the observed morphologies and the stacking geometry. Such information is relevant for controlling the structural order in thin layers of thiophene oligomers for use in field-effect transistor applications, for example, by modifying the nature of dielectric material over which those compounds are deposited.  相似文献

X-ray photoelectron valence spectra of lithium salts LiBF4, LiPF6, LiTFSI, and LiBETI have been recorded and analyzed by means of density functional theory (DFT) calculations, with good agreement between experimental and calculated spectra. The results of this study are used to characterize electrode/electrolyte interfaces of graphite negative electrodes in Li-ion batteries using organic carbonate electrolytes containing LiTFSI or LiBETI salts. By a combined X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) core peaks/valence analysis, we identify the main constituents of the interface. Differences in the surface layers' composition can be evidenced, depending on whether LiTFSI or LiBETI is used as the lithium salt.  相似文献

High frequency sound is observed in lithium diborate glass, Li2O-2B2O3, using Brillouin scattering of light and x rays. The sound attenuation exhibits a nontrivial dependence on the wave vector, with a remarkably rapid increase towards a Ioffe-Regel crossover as the frequency approaches the boson peak from below. An analysis of literature results reveals that the boson-peak frequency is closely related with a Ioffe-Regel limit for sound in many glasses. We conjecture that this relation, specific to glassy materials, might be rather common among them.  相似文献

CHFClI is among the more favorable molecules for parity violation (PV) measurements in molecules. Despite the fact that calculated PV effects are two orders of magnitude smaller than in some organometallic compounds, CHFClI displays interesting features which could make possible a new experimental PV test on this molecule. Indeed, ultrahigh resolution spectroscopy using an ultrastable CO(2) laser is favored by several intrinsic properties of this molecule. For example, the high vapor pressure of CHFClI allows investigation by supersonic beam spectroscopy. Indeed, the spectroscopic constants have been accurately determined by microwave and millimetre wave spectroscopy. This is important for the subsequent selection of an appropriate absorption band of CHFClI that could be brought to co?ncide with the absorption of CO(2). Partially resolved (+)- and (-)-CHFClI enantiomers with respectively 63.3 and 20.5% ee's have been recently prepared and analyzed by molecular recognition using chiral hosts called cryptophanes. Finally, the S-(+)/R-(-) absolute configuration was ascertained by vibrational circular dichro?sm (VCD) in the gas phase.  相似文献

We compare Raman and infrared spectra of the nuOH/OD modes in benzoic acid crystal powders at 7 K. The extremely sharp Raman bands contrast to the broad infrared profiles and suggest adiabatic separation of hydrogen (deuterium) dynamics from the crystal lattice. There is no evidence of any proton-proton coupling term. The assignment scheme is consistent with a quasisymmetric double-minimum potential, largely temperature independent. Tunnel splitting is a major band shaping mechanism, in addition to anharmonic coupling with lattice modes. The proton/deuteron dynamics are rationalized with nonlocal pseudoparticles and extended states. We propose a symmetry-related damping mechanism to account for the broad infrared profiles, as opposed to the sharp Raman bands. We assign spectral features to distinct interconversion mechanisms based on either pseudoparticle transfer or adiabatic pairwise transfer. We establish close contacts with theoretical models based on first-principles calculations.  相似文献

The distorted perovskites NaTaO(3) and NaNbO(3) have been studied using (23)Na multiple-quantum (MQ) MAS NMR. NaTaO(3) was prepared by high temperature solid state synthesis and the NMR spectra are consistent with the expected room temperature structure of the material (space group Pbnm), with a single crystallographic sodium site. Two samples of NaNbO(3) were studied. The first, a commercially available sample which was annealed at 900 degrees C, showed two crystallographic sodium sites, as expected for the room temperature structure of the material (space group Pbcm). The second sample, prepared by a low temperature hydrothermal method, showed the presence of four sodium sites, two of which match the expected room temperature structure and the second pair, another polymorph of the material (space group P21ma). This is consistent with powder X-ray diffraction data which showed weak extra peaks which can be accounted for by the presence of this second polymorph. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations support our conclusions, and aid assignment of the NMR spectra. Finally, we discuss the measured NMR parameters in relation to other studies of sodium in high coordination sites in the solid state.  相似文献
