It is shown that the type of lateral waveguide of a laser diode cannot be determined uniquely based on just the measured magnitude of astigmatism. For a unique determination, the K-factor of Petermann, which characterizes the wavefront curvature at the laser output facet, must be measured as well. In order to determine the type of lateral waveguide, a setup for measuring astigmatic distances in the range 0–200 m with an error of ±2 m and a K-factor with an error of 20% was developed. Operational features of the setup were analyzed, and a technique that allows one to minimize the effect of beam ellipticity on the measurement results was found. Using the technique, the optimization of spatial matching of a laser diode with a ring interferometer of the butterfly type was accomplished. For transformation of the astigmatic elliptical beam into the axially symmetric mode of the interferometer, we have used an optical system that consists of two cylindrical and one spherical lenses. The algorithm for designing the matching system was developed, and the 85% injection of radiation of a AlGaAs laser diode into the principal mode of a ring interferometer was experimentally demonstrated.  相似文献

General relations satisfied by scattering matrices, matching matrices for coefficients, transfer matrices, and matching matrices for envelope functions are derived for systems with heteroboundaries. A multipurpose six‐axis κ‐diffractometer, together with the brilliance of the ESRF light source and a CCD area detector, has been explored for studying epitaxial relations and crystallinity in thin film systems. The geometrical flexibility of the six‐axis goniometer allows measurement of a large volume in reciprocal space, providing an in‐depth understanding of sample crystal relationships. By a set of examples of LaAlO3 thin films deposited by the atomic layer deposition technique, the possibilities of the set‐up are presented. A fast panoramic scan provides determination of the crystal orientation matrices, prior to more thorough inspection of single Bragg nodes. Such information, in addition to a broadening analysis of families of single reflections, is shown to correlate well with the crystallinity, crystallite size, strain and epitaxial relationships in the thin films. The proposed set‐up offers fast and easy sample mounting and alignment, along with crucial information on key features of the thin film structures.  相似文献

The radiative decayJ/ψ → γ π+ π? has been studied using the 8.6 millionJ/ψ produced in the DM2 experiment at the DCIe +e? storage rings at Orsay. The π+ π? mass spectrum shows a cleanf 2 (1270) signal, and the possible presence of two other states at thef 2 (1720) andf 4 (2030) masses. For thef 2 (1270), the branching ratio BR(J/ψ →γf)xBR(f→π+ π?) is measured to be (7.50±0.30±1.12)×10?4, and the spin analysis prefers theJ=2 assignment, with helicity parametersx=0.83±0.06 andy=0.01±0.06. The results of static and dynamic tests for three groups of ceramic materials based on zirconium dioxide ZrO2 and for zirconium dioxide concrete are reported. The static and dynamic tests were performed according to the conventional procedure and Kolsky procedure, respectively. The ceramic samples were obtained using different manufacturing technologies and had different initial densities and porosities. In the experiments, static and dynamic strain curves were obtained and strength characteristics were determined. The dynamic strength properties of ceramics and concrete are shown to depend on the stress growth rate. The dynamic curves of ceramics are compared with those of structural and zirconium dioxide concretes.  相似文献

A three-step method for the preparation of CF3-substituted 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquino-lines and 1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridines has been suggested. The first step includes alkylation of isoquinoline or 4-methylpyridine at the nitrogen atom with the formation of salts, which are involved into the reaction with Grignard reagent or lithium triethylborohydride to give enamines. The enamines undergo nucleophilic trifluoromethylation upon the action of Me3SiCF3 under acidic conditions.  相似文献

X-ray diffractometry and low-temperature exciton spectroscopy are used to study heteroepitaxial CdSe/CdS layers grown at temperatures of 350–485 °C by MOCVD. The high-temperature samples are found to display the exciton and x-ray diffraction spectra characteristic of hexagonal Wurtzite (W) structures, while the low-temperature samples display the features characteristic of the cubic structure of sphalerite (ZB). A number of the samples have x-ray spectra characteristic of structures with stacking faults (SF), which represent a separate crystalline phase in the structures studied here.
