Chemical Vapor Deposition of Silicon Dioxide by Direct-Current Corona Discharges in Dry Air Containing Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane Vapor: Measurement of the Deposition Rate

Experiments in a positive-polarity, wire/plate electrode establish the effects of the concentration of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (150–1100 ppm) and the operating current (0.5–2.55 μA/cm length of wire) on the rate of deposition of silicon dioxide on the high voltage wire. The wire is 100 μm radius tungsten and the wire-to-plate spacing is 1.5 cm. Analyses of the deposit with X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy show that it is amorphous silicon dioxide. The deposition rate increases linearly with increasing silicone concentration and corona current. For the concentrations of silicone likely to present in indoor air, the gas-phase processes limit the rate of deposition.     

Isotactic-b-syndiotactic stereoblock poly(methyl methacrylate) by chiral metallocene/Lewis acid hybrid catalysts

Stereoblock polymerization with chiral ansa-metallocene/strong Lewis acid hybrid catalysts capable of switching stereospecificity of the methyl methacrylate polymerization produces the highly stereoregular isotactic-b-syndiotactic stereoblock poly(methyl methacrylate).     

2,4-二氧代-1,3,2-苯并二氮磷杂环己烷与■C=C■及CS_2加成反应的研究

本文研究了2,4-二氧代-1,3,2-苯并二氮磷杂环己烷的磷氢键对β-硝基苯乙烯、丙烯酸酯、丙烯腈及二硫化碳的加成反应,共合成了18个新的加成产物.发现通过选用不同的碱或控制碱的用量.可选择性的进行加成或开环反应.由X衍射证实:在加成产物的结构中,环外P-C键构象因受磷杂环船式构象影响,以邻位交叉式(A)为主.     

邻苯二胺、邻氨基酚的电化学聚合及聚合的膜性质

邻苯二胺(ODB), 邻氨基酚(OAP)在酸性水溶液中易电聚合, 可形成致密的聚合膜。聚邻苯二胺(PODB)在PH<4时具有电活性, 其氧化还原反应与电变色效应对应。聚邻苯二胺,聚邻氨基酚(POAP)膜电极电位在pH=4～10范围对pH有Nernst响应, 电极系数分别为59mV/pH和57mV/pH。响应时间小于3分钟。PODB, POAP膜能与Ni~(2+), Co~(2+)过渡金属离子形成稳定的聚合络合膜。此膜在碱性介质中具有稳定的循环伏安行为, 膜中的金属离子可被H~+交换。PODB电极的—NH_2基可再修饰引入醌/氢醌功能团。

本文报道了烷基,烯基,四氢呋喃甲基等取代的二氯二茂钛的(13)~C 核磁共振谱,并鉴别了非对映异构体的不同化学位移。     

Electrochemical and spectroscopic characterization of surface sol-gel processes

(3-Mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane (MTS) forms a unique film on a platinum substrate by self-assembly and sol-gel cross-linking. The gelating and drying states of the self-assembled MTS sol-gel films were probed by use of electrochemical and spectroscopic methods. The thiol moiety was the only active group within the sol-gel network. Gold nanoparticles were employed to detect the availability of the thiol group and their interaction further indicated the physicochemical states of the sol-gel inner structure. It was found that the thiol groups in the open porous MTS aerogel matrix were accessible to the gold nanoparticles while thiol groups in the compact MTS xerogel network were not accessible to the gold nanoparticles. The characteristics of the sol-gel matrix change with time because of its own irreversible gelating and drying process. The present work provides direct evidence of gold nanoparticle binding with thiol groups within the sol-gel structures and explains the different permeability of "aerogel" and "xerogel" films of MTS on the basis of electrochemical and spectroscopic results. Two endogenous species, hydrogen peroxide and ascorbic acid, were used to test the permeability of the self-assembled sol-gel film in different states. The MTS xerogel film on the platinum electrode was extremely selective against ascorbic acid while maintaining high sensitivity to hydrogen peroxide in contrast to the relatively high permeability of ascorbic acid in the MTS aerogel film. This study showed the potential of the MTS sol-gel film as a nanoporous material in biosensor development.     

Readily synthesised arylamino fumaronitrile for non-doped red organic light-emitting diodes

Bright (maximum 10034 cd m(-2), 455 cd m(-2) at 20 mA cm(-2)) and efficient (maximum 2.4% at 4 mA cm(-2)) red (lambda(max)el 634-636 nm) organic light-emitting diodes employ arylamino-substituted fumaronitrile as the novel host emitter, which is readily prepared and easily purified.     

Shape-controlled synthesis of copper colloids with a simple chemical route

The new electrical and optical properties of nanomaterials depend sensitively on both size and shape, which are of both fundamental and technological interest. This paper introduces a simple chemical method to produce copper particles, which has the ability to shape the particle without using any capping agent or template. In our synthetic procedure, the reactant concentration and temperature exerted a strong influence on the shape of the copper particles. At low reactant concentrations, the particles were cubic; at high reactant concentrations, obtained particles were spherical. The number of hollow particles greatly increased when the synthesis was performed at low temperature. We also synthesized a copper cubic ring at lower temperature, and it has been rarely reported. The absorption spectrum of hollow particles showed obvious red shifts, which suggests the possible assembly of novel optical materials.     

四(2─咪唑基)卟啉在水溶液中的性质及其在乙酸中与Co(Ⅱ)(OAc)2的反应动力学研究

合成了水溶性四（２－咪唑基）卟啉，研究了它在水溶液中的聚合性质。实验发现Ｈ２ＴＩｍＰ水溶液在ＰＨ＝０，６时遵守Ｂｅｅｒ定律，并呈单体形式存在。用光谱滴定法测定了Ｈ２ＴＩｍＰ加质子的平衡常数。用紫外可见分光光度计研究了在乙酸溶剂中Ｈ２ＴＩｍＰ与Ｃｏ（Ⅱ）（ＯＡｃ）２反应的动力淡。     

Dichloro bis(η5) molybdenum catalysed reduction of organic halides by sodium borohydride

Summary Dichloro bis(⁵) molybdenum catalyses the reduction of organic halides by sodium borohydride smoothly and selectively. The reactions with representative organic monohalides and polyhalides are investigated. The ease of reduction depends on the structure of the halide and the solvent used. alkoxycarbonyl and cyano groups are unattacked in the reaction. An oxidative addition-reductive elimination mechanism is tentatively suggested.
