Power coupler kick of the TRIUMF ICM capture cavities

The TRIUMF Injector CryoModule (ICM) adapted two superconducting single cavities as the capture section for the low injecting energy of 100 keV electrons. Coupler kick induced beam deflection and projected emittance growth are one of the prime concerns of the beam stability, especially at low energies. In low energy applications, the electron velocity changes rapidly inside the cavity, which makes the numerical analysis much more complicated. The commonly used theoretical formulas of the direct integral or the Panofsky- Wenzel theorem is not suitable for the kick calculation of β <1 electrons. Despite that, the above mentioned kick calculation method doesn't consider injecting electron energy, the beam offset due to the coupler kick may not be negligible because of the low injection energy even if the kick is optimized. Thus the beam dynamics code TRACK is used here for the simulation of the power coupler kick perturbation. The coupler kick can be compensated for by a judicious choice of the coupler position in successive cavities from upstream to downstream. The simulation shows that because of the adiabatic damping by the following superconducting 9-cell cavity, even for the worst orbit distortion case after two capture cavities, the kick is still acceptable at the exit of the ICM after reaching 10 MeV. This paper presents the analysis of the transverse kick and the projected emittance growth induced by the coupler for β <1 electrons. The simulated results of the TRIUMF ICM capture cavities are described and presented.     

Volume polarization holographic recording in thick phenanthrenequinone-doped poly(methyl methacrylate) photopolymer

Volume polarization holographic recording in phenanthrenequinone-doped poly (methyl methacrylate) photopolymer is obtained. Photoinduced birefringence in a 2 mm thick sample is measured by a phase-modulated ellipsometry. The birefringence induced in this material by linearly polarized beam at 514 nm reaches 1.2×10(-5). In addition, ability for recording volume polarization grating using two different polarization configurations is demonstrated and compared. The experimental results show that the diffraction efficiency of the hologram reaches to ～40% by using two orthogonal circularly polarized beams.     

Two types of loop algebras and their expanding Lax integrable models

Though various integrable hierarchies of evolution equations were obtained by choosing proper U in zero-curvature equation U_t-V_x+[U,V]=0, but in this paper, a new integrable hierarchy possessing bi-Hamiltonian structure is worked out by selecting V with spectral potentials. Then its expanding Lax integrable model of the hierarchy possessing a simple Hamiltonian operator \widetilde{J} is presented by constructing a subalgebra \widetilde{G } of the loop algebra \widetilde A₂. As linear expansions of the above-mentioned integrable hierarchy and its expanding Lax integrable model with respect to their dimensional numbers, their (2+1)-dimensional forms are derived from a (2+1)-dimensional zero-curvature equation.

防空导弹自动驾驶仪测试性建模研究与应用

为了得到防空导弹自动驾驶仪的故障检测与诊断策略,减少自动驾驶仪的测试费用,建立了自动驾驶仪的测试性模型并进行分析,解决了建模的难点。通过多层抽象混合推理故障建模方法推导了自动驾驶仪结构与测试点之间的关系,根据测试点的特征和自动驾驶仪工作原理建立信息流模型,在此基础上,利用故障与测试间的相关性矩阵来描述测试性模型。基于此模型设计了诊断策略构建方法。实际应用表明,建立测试性模型的方法完全正确,通过模型能够构建有效的检测与诊断策略,缩短测试时间。     

原子距边矢量、三键数与烷烃的13C NMR化学位移

提出一个新的原子描述符-原子距边矢量(μ)来表达碳原子在烷烃中所处环境信息,用该矢量和三键数作为参数与烷烃碳原子(含2~9个碳原子共63个烷烃分子,计326个不等价碳原子)的¹³C NMR化学位移相关联,得到的多元线性回归分析结果为:标准偏差S仅0.9629ppm,相关系数R为0.9957.用所得线性方程预测得精度为:误差在1.0,1.5和2.0ppm以内的分别占83%,90%和95%.     

Theoretical study of the electronic ground states and low-lying singlet excited states of thiophene-based spirofluorenes

The electronic structures and optical properties of oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes are investigated theoretically with semi-empirical quantum chemical calculations. A theoretical investigation of the interaction between two perpendicular π-systems of various oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes is conducted. Investigation of dibutyl phthalate as plasticizer on poly(methyl methacrylate)–lithium tetraborate based polymer electrolytes

Polymer electrolyte membranes, comprising of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), lithium tetraborate (Li₂B₄O₇) as salt and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) as plasticizer were prepared using a solution casting method. The incorporation of DBP enhanced the ionic conductivity of the polymer electrolyte. The polymer electrolyte containing 70 wt.% of poly(methyl methacrylate)–lithium tetraborate and 30 wt.% of DBP presents the highest ionic conductivity of 1.58 × 10⁻⁷ S/cm. The temperature dependence of ionic conductivity study showed that these polymer electrolytes obey Vogel–Tamman–Fulcher (VTF) type behaviour. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was employed to analyse the thermal stability of the polymer electrolytes. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) studies confirmed the complexation between poly(methyl methacrylate), lithium tetraborate and DBP.
