The thermal behavior of sodium saccharin polymorphic forms was investigated using thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry, while structural changes during the dehydration processes were monitored by X-ray powder diffraction. In solid state, sodium saccharine may exhibit three forms: anhydrate, 2/3 hydrate (triclinic), and 15/8 hydrate (monoclinic) ones. In this investigation, it was established that monoclinic and triclinic forms compose an entantiotropically related polymorphs system. At 82 °C, the 15/8 hydrated monoclinic form is converted to 2/3 hydrated triclinic form, which showed to be the more thermodynamically stable form at room temperature. Spontaneous solidification leads to the formation of triclinic cell setting, and additionally, spontaneous hydration of the anhydrous form leads to formation of 2/3 hydrated triclinic form.  相似文献

We present the first realisation of ferromagnetic Fe nanotips. Studies of the field emitted beams of electrons and metallic ions above and under the Curie temperature Tc were made. We have observed a reversible splitting of the electron beams when the temperature crossed through Tc and multiple spot patterns for the emitted metallic ion beams. These phenomena were not observed with Fe microtips or non-magnetic nanotips and thus were correlated to a strong magnetic interaction at the atomic scale apex of the nanotips. The Fe nanotips constitute an atomic scale beam-splitter.  相似文献

Astringency is an important sensory characteristic of food and beverages containing polyphenols. However, astringency perception in elderly people has not been previously documented. The aim of the present work was to evaluate sensitivity to astringency as a function of age, salivary flow and protein amount. Fifty-four panellists, including 30 elderly people (age = 75 ± 4.2 years) and 24 young people (age = 29.4 ± 3.8 years), participated in this study. Astringency sensitivity was evaluated by the 2-alternative forced choice (2-AFC) procedure using tannic acid solutions. Whole saliva was collected for 5 min before and after the sensory tests. The results showed that the astringency threshold was significantly higher in the elderly group than the young group. No correlation was observed between the salivary protein amount and threshold value. However, a negative correlation between salivary flow and threshold was observed in the young group only. These results showed a difference in oral astringency perception as a function of age. This difference can be linked to salivary properties that differ as a function of age.  相似文献

We study the properties of a causal quantum theory in phase space for which phase space classical mechanics is obtained as a limit. The causal quantum theory is obtained from a generalized coherent state representation. The behavior for the one particle case and the manyparticle case are illustrated for the harmonic oscillator. We consider a class of generalized KdV equations with a small parameter and nonlinearities of the type um. We create a finite differences scheme to simulate the solution of the Cauchy problem and present some numerical results for the problem of the solitary waves interaction. In particular, we consider sufficient condition under which pairs of solitary waves interact, in the asymptotic sense, in accordance with the soliton scenario.  相似文献

The title compound, C25H29N3O13S, has peripheral acetyl and carbo­methoxy groups which show disorder. The absolute structure, although known from the starting materials, was confirmed by the analysis. There are no intermolecular hydrogen bonds. This structure is of importance because it elucidates the pathway for hetero‐Diels–Alder reactions between di­methyl acetyl­enedi­carboxyl­ate and 6‐amino­pyridin‐4(3H)‐one derivatives catalyzed by tri­fluoro­acetic acid.  相似文献

Tricyclic basic dyes (proflavine, acridine orange, pyronine, pyronine Y, oxonine, thionine and methylene blue) often form one‐to‐one or two‐to‐one complexes with CB[7] and CB[8], respectively. In the case of pyronine Y, the complexes with CB[7] and CB[8] have a one‐to‐one and three‐to‐one stoichiometry, respectively. The binding constants for CB[7] complexes range from 3.07×106 to 1.70×107 m ?1. In the case of CB[8], the association constant varies between 3.24×1013 and 2.50×1016 m ?2. Overall, these binding constants are four orders of magnitude higher than those reported for the same dyes in β and γ‐cyclodextrins. Formation of the host–guest complexes leads to an increase in the fluorescence quantum yields in the case of CB[7], while the dimeric or trimeric dye encapsulated in CB[8] are remarkably less fluorescent than the same dye in diluted solutions.  相似文献

A seaweed sample (Fucus sp.) was prepared, homogenised and distributed to laboratories worldwide as the IAEA-140 intercomparison material for the analysis of organochlorine compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons. A total of 80 laboratories from 51 countries reported results for this sample. The data sets reported by laboratories were evaluated statistically and the mean concentration values could be computed with 95% confidence limits for a large number of analytes. The accuracy of the analytical performance of each laboratory has been introduced by using Z-scores. The spread of results reported generally indicates that the accurate determination of many persistent organic pollutants, such as hexachlorobenzene, lindane, Aroclors or fluoranthene, is still difficult for many laboratories. The final results of this intercomparison exercise enable individual participants to assess their performance and, where necessary, to introduce appropriate modifications in their analytical procedures. Furthermore, as a series of statistical criteria was fulfilled for a number of compounds, the sample IAEA-140 can now be used as a reference material for quality control in the determination of chlorinated compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons in environmental samples.  相似文献
