Study on the Phase Diagram of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O System and the Properties of the Compounds

The equilibrium solubility of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O qua-ternary system at 25℃ has been determined by the physicchemical analysis method ,and the phase diagram was plotted, Two new double salts 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O obtained from the complicated system were identified and characterized by XRD,TG-DTA ,DSC,UV and fluorescence spectroscopy, Studies on the fluorescence excitation and emission show that 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O have upconversion luminescence of infrared-visible range,and the upconversion emission intensity increases with the increase of ratio of CeCl3 in CsCl.     

Aquachlorobis(4,4′,4′′‐tri‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′;6′,2′′‐terpyridine‐κ3N)terbium(III) diperchlorate ethanol disolvate

In the title compound, [TbCl(C₂₇H₃₅N₃)₂(H₂O)](ClO₄)₂·2C₂H₆O, the Tb^III ion has a coordination number of eight, composed of two tridentate substituted‐ter­pyridine ligands, a water mol­ecule and a bound Cl^? anion. The first coordination shell can be described as a distorted bicapped trigonal prism. The dihedral angles between pyridine rings belonging to the same tpy ligand range from 5.2 (5) to 16.8 (5)°.     

烟气中多环芳烃吸附脱除的研究

针对热电厂烟气中排放的多环芳烃（PAHs）污染物，在实验室规模上研究了六种吸附剂对烟气中典型的PAHs, 如萘（Nap）、芴（Flu）、菲（Phe）的吸附脱除行为。考察了吸附剂结构特征与Nap，Flu，Phe高温脱除的相关性，并对煤质活性炭（AC-1）在160 ℃～200 ℃下的吸附等温线进行了研究。结果表明，吸附剂对PAHs的吸附能力与其结构参数中BET表面积和微孔体积具有紧密相关性，而与中孔体积没有明显关系；活性炭表现出很好的脱除烟气中PAHs的作用；吸附剂对PAHs的吸附能力随着PAHs的质量分数增大而增大，随吸附温度的增加而减小；随着PAHs的碳原子数和芳环数增加，其在吸附剂上的吸附能力也增强。     

Cytotoxic Constituents from the Stem Bark of Zanthoxylum Pistaciiflorum

Two new esters, methyl 4‐(prenyloxy)dihydrocinnamate and methyl 4‐(geranyloxy)dihydrocinnamate, together with fourteen known compounds have been isolated from the stem bark of Zanthoxylum pistaciiflorum. The structures of two new compounds were determined through spectral analyses. Among the isolates, four compounds exhibited effective cytotoxicities against P‐388 and HT‐29 cell lines in vitro.     

Synthesis and properties of niobia films derived from niobium pentaethoxide

The hydrolysis of niobium pentaethoxide precursor in the presence of triethylamine (TEA) is discussed. Three precursors with TEA/Nb(OEt)₅ mole ratios of 0.25, 0.4 and 0.8 were prepared. Niobia colloids with different appearance were obtained after autoclaving the above precursors at 250°C during 12 h. The surface roughness and microstructure of niobia films prepared with the colloids by spread coating method are strongly dependent on the TEA/Nb(OEt)₅ mole ratio. At a value of 0.4 TEA/Nb(OEt)₅ mole ratio, a niobia film with large surface roughness can be achieved. It is opaque and mechanically stable and has differently ordered needle microstructure. The crystalline structure and photoelectrochemical property of niobia film with the largest surface roughness were examined. The effect of CO₂ gas bubbling, reflux and addition of 2-methoxyethanol on the hydrolysis of Nb(OEt)₅ and the nature of the Nb₂O₅ films is also discussed.     

Studies on thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer. XI. Effect of amide group on thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer properties

A series of poly(azomethine)s containing amide, ether, or ester groups was prepared by the condensation of dialdehydes with various diamines. The thermotropic liquid crystalline properties were examined by DSC and microscopic observations. The effects of the number and position of amide groups, which are attached to the rigid segment, on the thermotropic liquid crystalline properties of the homo-and copoly(amide-azomethine-ether)s were also investigated in this study. The copolymerization took place by changing the amount of amide group to obtain copoly(amide-azomethine) ( P13 and P14 ) which exhibit thermotropic liquid crystalline properties. The poly(azomethine)s containing ether or ester groups also exhibited thermotropic liquid crystalline properties. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Preparation of a piezoelectric immunosensor for the detection of Salmonella paratyphi A by immobilization of antibodies on electropolymerized films

 To obtain new coatings for the preparation of piezoelectric immunosensors, the anodic polymerization of o-aminophenol (oAP), o-phenylenediamine (oPD) and m-phenylenediamine (mPD) onto a gold-plated crystal has been studied. The possibility of immobilizing an antibody (anti-S. paratyphi A) onto the crystal via the electropolymerized films was investigated. The poly-mPD film gave the best results for immobilizing the antibody. With antibodies crosslinked on the poly-mPD film, a piezoelectric immuno-assay for the detection of S. paratyphi A was proposed. The shift (ΔF=F_20s−F_400s, Hz) between the frequency at 20 s after the addition of sample (F_20s), and that of 400 s (F_400s) was used to construct a calibration graph, and shortening of the assay time was achieved. The S. paratyphi A concentration in the range of 10^5–10⁹ cells/ml can be measured by this method. Received: 9 May 1996/Revised: 6 September 1996/Accepted: 19 September 1996     

二茂铁甲酰丙酮缩氨基硫脲金属配合物研究

将二茂铁甲酰丙酮与硫代氨基脲在水 -乙醇介质中进行缩合反应 ,得金属有机多齿配体C5H5Fe C5H4COCH2 C(CH3 ) =NNHCSNH2 (简记作 Fc TS) ,该配体分别与 d-过渡金属 [Cu( )、Co( )、Ni( )、Mn( ) ]、 B族金属 [Zn( )、Cd( ) ]及主族金属 [Pb( ) ]乙酸盐反应 ,合成了分子式为 (Fc TS) 2 M(CH3 COO) 2 的 7个新型配合物。经元素分析、IR、UV- Vis,1 H HMR、摩尔电导及固体电导的测定对配合物组成、结构、波谱性质和导电性能进行了研究。     

羊睾丸,梅花鹿胎盘提取液中铅的测定

利用火焰原子吸收法直接测定羊睾丸，梅花鹿胎盘提取液中铅的含量，实验结果表明，两种提以液中均含有铅，梅花鹿胎盘提取液铅含量低于羊睾丸，透析液组高于超滤液组，这一结果为合理开发利用羊睾丸，梅花鹿胎盘提取液提供一定的数据。

The cover picture shows a typical building within the Campus of Xiamen University displaying Chen Jiageng (Tan Kah Kee)'s style. Just like many beautiful buildings designed and constructed by human, Nature “designs and constructs” a huge number of useful molecules with fascinating structures called natural products. Many natural products possess a fused six or seven‐membered carbocyclic unity. On page 315–322, the Huang's group disclosed a three‐step “[2+n]” annulation method for the construction of fused six and seven‐membered carbocyclic enimines and enones. The method starts from simple cyclic ketones and terminal olefinic amides, and relies on both the Suzuki coupling reaction and the olefin‐amide based Friedel‐Crafts type acylating reaction, a method developed by Huang and coworkers.
