Redox reactions of disulfiram (DSF) were studied in aqueous solutions using the pulse-radiolysis technique. Reactions of DSF with one-electron oxidants Br2
- and N3, generated pulse radiolytically in aqueous solution at pH 7, yielded a transient (max = 480 nm) which exhibited the characteristics of a disulphide cation radical and decayed by second-order kinetics. Reactions of DSF with halogenated peroxyl radicals CCl3O2, CHCl2O2, CH2ClO2 and CBr3O2 led to the formation of an adduct absorbing at 580 nm. The pyrazine ring in two N‐substituted quinoxaline derivatives, namely (E)‐2‐(2‐methoxybenzylidene)‐1,4‐di‐p‐tosyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroquinoxaline, C30H28N2S2O5, (II), and (E)‐methyl 2‐[(1,4‐di‐p‐tosyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroquinoxalin‐2‐ylidene)methyl]benzoate, C31H28N2S2O6, (III), assumes a half‐chair conformation and is shielded by the terminal tosyl groups. In the molecular packing of the compounds, intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds between centrosymmetrically related molecules generate dimeric rings, viz. R22(22) in (II) and R22(26) in (III), which are further connected through C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions into novel supramolecular frameworks. 相似文献

We report the results of our investigation of magnetization and heat capacity on a series of compounds CeYxNiGe2 () under the influence of external magnetic field. Our studies of the thermodynamic quantity on these compounds indicate that magnetic frustration persists in Ce0.9Y0.1NiGe2, as also reported for the parent compound CeNiGe2. The weak signature of this frustration is also noted in Ce0.8Y0.2NiGe2, whereas, it is suppressed in Ce0.6Y0.4NiGe2. Heat capacity studies on Ce0.9Y0.1NiGe2 and Ce0.8Y0.2NiGe2 indicate the presence of a new magnetic anomaly at high field which indicates that quantum criticality is absent in these compounds. However, for Ce0.6Y0.4NiGe2 such an anomaly is not noted. For this later compound, the magnetic field (H) and temperature (T) dependence of heat capacity and magnetization obey scaling above critical fields. However, the obtained scaling critical parameter (δ) is 1.6, which is away from mean field value of 3. This deviation suggests the presence of unusual fluctuations and anomalous quantum criticality in these compounds. This unusual fluctuation may arise from disorderness induced by Y-substitution. 相似文献

A rogue wave (RW), localized in space–time like Peregrine RW solution, though richer due to the presence of free parameters is discovered. The association reaction between silyl radical (SiH3) and H2O2 has been studied in detail using high-level composite ab initio CBS-QB3 and G4MP2 methods. The global hybrid meta-GGA M06 and M06-2X density functionals in conjunction with 6-311++G(d,p) basis set have also been applied. To understand the kinetics, variational transition-state theory calculation is performed on the first association step, and successive unimolecular reactions are subjected to Rice–Ramsperger–Kassel–Marcus calculations to predict the reaction rate constants and product branching ratios. The bimolecular rate constant for SiH3–H2O2 association in the temperature range 250–600 K, k(T) = 6.89 × 10?13 T ?0.163exp(?0.22/RT) cm3 molecule?1 s?1 agrees well with the current literature. The OH production channel, which was experimentally found to be a minor one, is confirmed by the rate constants and branching ratios. Also, the correlation between our theoretical work and experimental literature is established. The production of SiO via secondary reactions is calculated to be one of the major reaction channels from highly stabilized adducts. The H-loss pathway, i.e., SiH2(OH)2 + H, is the major decomposition channel followed by secondary dissociation leading to SiO. 相似文献

A new three-component reaction of chalcones, ketones, and ammonia assisted by magnesium methoxide is described. The corresponding 2,4,6-triaryl pyridines (Kröhnke pyridines) are formed in fair to good yields (34–76%) within 3 h. APSA-80, an useful pesticide spray adjuvant is a mixture of 2-[2-(4-nonylphenoxy) ethoxy] ethanol, 1-butanol and tall oil fatty acids. It is strongly surface active and can decrease the surface tension of water to ~20 mNm?1 at its critical micelle concentration (CMC) of 0.006 g%. APSA-80 itself and its binary mixtures, (APSA-80 + water) and (APSA-80 + isopropylmyristate [IPM]) and ternary mixtures (APSA-80 + water +IPM) can undergo a number of physical changes with rise in temperature; the main changes are in color, turbidity and phases. The ternary mixtures of APSA-80/water/IPM with changing compositions can form mono-, bi-, and triphasic solutions as well as gels and viscous solutions. The gel and viscous phases show characteristic rheological properties of both shear thinning and thickening types. They also show permeation of hydrophilic and oleophilic dyes through them. SEM and optical microscopic measurements have shown interesting surface morphologies of the gels and their vertical projections in three-dimensional pictorial mode. Salts like LiCl, NaCl, KCl, CsCl, MgSO4, and Al2(SO4)3 can have both minor and major effects on the gel consistencies. The alkanols like ethanol, propanol, and isopropanol are also mild to fairly large gel influencing co solvents. The antibacterial properties of APSA-80 have been studied with two Gram positive bacteria and a yeast; the activities found were moderate. 相似文献
