Tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane [B(C6F5)3] has been used as an efficient catalyst for reductive alkylation of alkoxy benzenes using aldehydes as an alkylating agent in the presence of polymethylhydrosiloxane (PMHS). Various alkylated trimethoxybenzene derivatives have been prepared in good to high yields. In addition, B(C6F5)3 was also used as a catalyst for the reaction of electron-rich arenes with aldehydes to obtain triarylmethanes. The use of reductive alkylation protocol for the synthesis of an isochroman and tetrahydroisoquinoline derivatives has also been demonstrated.  相似文献

LiI–AgI–B2O3 glasses mixed with different concentrations of V2O5 (ranging from 0 to 1.0 mol%) were prepared. Electrical and dielectric properties over wide ranges of frequency (10?2–107 Hz) and temperature (173–523 K) have been studied. Additionally spectroscopic properties viz., optical absorption and ESR spectra have been investigated. The optical absorption and ESR studies have revealed that vanadium ions do exist in both V4+ and V5+ states and the redox ratio is the highest in the glasses containing 0.8 mol% of V2O5. The results of conductivity measurements have indicated that there is a mixed conduction (both ionic and electronic). The ionic conduction seems to be dominant over polaron hopping only in the glasses containing V2O5 more than 0.8 mol% of V2O5. The impedance spectra have also indicated that the conduction is predominantly polaronic in nature. The frequency and temperature dependence of the electrical moduli as well as dielectric loss parameters have exhibited relaxation character attributed to the vanadyl complexes. The relaxation effects have been analyzed by the graphical method and from this analysis it has been established that there is a spreading of relaxation times. The results have been further discussed quantitatively in the light of different valance states of vanadium ions with the aid of the data on spectroscopic properties.  相似文献

Abstract  

Thiosemicarbazides and their derivatives are well known for their use in biological activity and many applications in pharmaceutical and industrial fields. The cyclization of 1-benzoyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-3-thiosemicarbazide (BNPTSC) in dimethylformamide (DMF) medium furnished N-(2-nitrophenyl)-5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-amine (NPPOA). The chemical structure of the above substituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole has been assigned by IR, mass and X-ray diffraction studies. The XRD studies reveal the presence of four types of hydrogen bonds (N–H···O, N–H···N, C–H···O, C–H···N) in the crystal packing. The crystal system was found to be orthorhombic with a space group Pca2(1) and the unit cell dimensions are: a = 26.873(3) ?, b = 6.0827(7) ?, c = 7.8502(10) ?, α = 90°, β = 90°, γ = 90° and Z = 4.  相似文献

Air coupled piezoelectric ultrasonic array transducers are a novel tool that could lead to interesting advances in the area of non-contact laminar material testing using Lamb wave's propagation techniques. A key issue on the development of such transducers is their efficient coupling to air media (impedance mismatch between the piezoelectric material and air is 90 dB or more). Adaptation layers are used in order to attain good matching and avoid possible serious signal degradation. However, the introduction of these matching layers modify the transducer surface behaviour and, consequently, radiation characteristics are altered, making the usual idealization criteria (of uniform surface movement) adopted for field simulation purposes inaccurate. In our system, we have a concave linear-array transducer of 64 elements (electrically coupled by pairs) working at 0.8 MHz made of PZ27 rectangular piezoceramics (15 mm x 0.3 mm) with two matching layers made of polyurethane and porous cellulose bonded on them. Experimental measurements of the acoustic aperture of single excited array elements have shown an increment on the geometrical dimensions of its active surface. A sub-millimeter vibrometer laser scan has revealed an extension of the aperture beyond the supposed physical single array element dimensions. Non-uniform symmetric apodized velocity surface vibration amplitude profile with a concave delay contour indicates the presumed existence of travelling wave phenomena over the surface of the outer array matching layer. Also, asymptotic propagation velocities around 2500 m/s and attenuation coefficient between 15 and 20 dB/mm has been determined for the travelling waves showing clear tendencies. Further comparisons between the experimental measurements of single array element field radiation diagram and simulated equivalent aperture counterpart reveal good agreement versus the ideal (uniform displaced) rectangular aperture. For this purpose an Impulse Response Method (IRM) has been used.  相似文献

A criterion for the electric stability of a semiconductor superlttice placed in a longitudinal electric field has been obtained using the drift–diffusion approximation. Experimental results on the visualization of the density of states in InAs/GaSa(001) quantum dots that were obtained by tunnel atomic-force microscopy in an ultrahigh vacuum are presented. A one-dimensional (1D) model of dissipative quantum tunneling is proposed for describing experimental current-voltage characteristics of a tunnel contact between an atomic force microscope probe and the surface of InAs/GaAs (001) quantum dots. It was found that the influence of two local modes of the wide-band matrix on the probability of 1D dissipative tunneling leads to the appearance of several randomly spaced peaks in the field dependence. It was shown that the theoretical dependence agrees qualitatively with experimental the current-voltage characteristic of the atomic force microscope tip and the surface of InAs/GaAs(001) quantum dots.  相似文献
