Runge–Kutta (RK) pairs furnish approximations of the solution of an initial value problem at discrete points in the interval of integration. Many techniques for enriching these methods with continuous approximations have been proposed. Here we construct C 1 continuous, eighth and ninth order interpolation methods for a recently appeared RK pair of orders 9(8). These interpolants share a very small leading truncation error making them suitable for use at quadruple precision, i.e. 32–33 decimal digits of accuracy. The exploration of the magnetic and transport properties of four series of manganese perovskites, Pr0.7Ca0.34−xAxMnO3−δ (A=Sr, Ba), Pr0.7−xLaxCa0.3 MnO3−δ and Pr0.66Ca0.34−x SrxMnO3−δ has allowed four phases with colossal magnetoresistive (CMR) properties to be isolated: Pr0.7Ca0.25Sr0.025MnO3−δ and Pr0.66Ca0.26Sr0.08MnO3−δ that exhibit a variation of resistance of 2.5. 107% and 109% at μ0 H=5 T for T=88 K and 50 K respectively, Pr0.58La0.12Ca0.3 MnO3−δ that exhibits a variation of 6.106% for μ0 H=5 T at T=80 K and Pr0.7Ba0.025Ca0.275MnO3−δ for which a resistance variation of 5.109%, at T=50 K, for μ0 H=5 T is evidenced. for each compound of this series except the barium phase, one observes that the temperature Tmax, which corresponds to the resistance maximum on the R(T) curves in zero magnetic field, increases dramatically as the mean size of the interpolated cations increases, and that the CMR effect correlatively decreases dramatically. The comparison of the two series Pr0.7Ca0.3−xSrxMnO3−δ and Pr0.66Ca0.34−xSrxMnO3−δ shows also the crucial role of the hole carrier density: for a same mean ionic radius of the interpolated cation Tmax is decreased of about 50 K by introducing 0.034 hole per Mn mole.  相似文献

Deep-Level Transient Spectroscopy (DLTS) measurements were carried out on silicon p+nn+ diodes before and after irradiation with fast neutrons at room temperature with fluences 5.5×1011 and 1.0×1012 n/cm2. It was found out, that all preexisting defects decreased their amplitudes during irradiation, while only one defect, identified as a single-charged divacancy, increased in amplitude. An interpretation is proposed in terms of the cluster model, and the applicability of the DLTS is discussed.  相似文献

An explicit expression is obtained for the Green's functions of a massive scalar field for nonnull temperatures and density in the form of a series in powers of m/T. The equivalence of the spectral-geometric approach and the temperature technique of Matsubara and Bernard is demonstrated. Corrections to the Stefan-Boltzmann law are obtained on the basis of the calculated Green's functions. The energy density is calculated in regions of high and low temperatures. The usual duality theory cannot be applied to infinite dimensional problems because the underlying constraint set mostly has an empty interior and the constraints are possibly nonlinear. In this paper we present an infinite dimensional nonlinear duality theory obtained by using new separation theorems based on the notion of quasi-relative interior, which, in all the concrete problems considered, is nonempty. We apply this theory to solve the until now unsolved problem of finding, in the infinite dimensional case, the Lagrange multipliers associated to optimization problems or to variational inequalities. As an example, we find the Lagrange multiplier associated to a general elastic–plastic torsion problem.  相似文献

In recent publications, it has been shown that high-order harmonic generation can be manipulated by employing a time delayed attosecond-pulse train superposed to a strong, near-infrared laser field. It is an open question, however, which is the most adequate way to approximate the attosecond-pulse train in a semianalytic framework. Employing the strong-field approximation and saddle-point methods, we make a detailed assessment of the spectra obtained by modeling the attosecond-pulse train by either a monochromatic wave or a Dirac-Delta comb. These are the two extreme limits of a real train, which is composed by a finite set of harmonics. Specifically, in the monochromatic limit, we find the downhill and uphill sets of orbits reported in the literature, and analyze their influence on the high-harmonic spectra. We show that, in principle, the downhill trajectories lead to stronger harmonics, and pronounced enhancements in the low plateau region. These features are analyzed in terms of quantum interference effects between pairs of quantum orbits, and compared to those obtained in the Dirac-Delta limit.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the cold atom clock PHARAO, designed for microgravity operation. All elements of the PHARAO engineering model have been manufactured and delivered to CNES, the French space agency. We present the clock design, its main characteristics, and initial science operation. PHARAO is one of the main components of the Atomic Clock Ensemble in Space payload that is scheduled to fly on board the International Space Station in 2010. In this paper, we study the central limit theorem and its weak invariance principle for sums of a stationary sequence of random variables, via a martingale decomposition. Our conditions involve the conditional expectation of sums of random variables with respect to the distant past. The results contribute to the clarification of the central limit question for stationary sequences.
