The effects of single-ion anisotropy on quantum criticality in a d-dimensional spin-S planar ferromagnet is explored by means of the two-time Green’s function method. We work at the Tyablikov decoupling level for exchange interactions and the Anderson-Callen decoupling level for single-ion anisotropy. In our analysis a longitudinal external magnetic field is used as the non-thermal control parameter and the phase diagram and the quantum critical properties are established for suitable values of the single-ion anisotropy parameter D. We find that the single-ion anisotropy has sensible effects on the structure of the phase diagram close to the quantum critical point. However, for values of the uniaxial crystal-field parameter below a positive threshold, the conventional magnetic-field-induced quantum critical scenario remains unchanged. 相似文献

The gradient-flow dynamics of an arbitrary geometric quantity is derived using a generalization of Darcy’s Law. We consider flows in both Lagrangian and Eulerian formulations. The Lagrangian formulation includes a dissipative modification of fluid mechanics. Eulerian equations for self-organization of scalars, 1-forms and 2-forms are shown to reduce to nonlocal characteristic equations. We identify singular solutions of these equations corresponding to collapsed (clumped) states and discuss their evolution. 相似文献

The dynamics of Vlasov kinetic moments is shown to be Lie-Poisson on the dual Lie algebra of symmetric contravariant tensor fields. The corresponding Lie bracket is identified with the symmetric Schouten bracket and the moment Lie algebra is related with a bundle of bosonic Fock spaces, where creation and annihilation operators are used to construct the cold plasma closure. Kinetic moments are also shown to define a momentum map, which is infinitesimally equivariant. This momentum map is the dual of a Lie algebra homomorphism, defined through the Schouten bracket. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) present in honey was rapidly determined by the differential amperometric method in association with flow-injection analysis (FIA) and a tubular reactor containing immobilized enzymes. A gold electrode modified by electrochemical deposition of platinum was employed as working electrode. Hydrogen peroxide was quantified in 14 samples of Brazilian commercial honeys using amperometric differential measurements at +0.60V vs. Ag/AgCl((sat)). For the enzymatic consumption of H2O2, a tubular reactor containing immobilized peroxidase was constructed using an immobilization of enzymes on Amberlite IRA-743 resin. The linear dynamic range in H2O2 extends from 1 to 100 x 10(-6) mol L(-1), at pH 7.0. At flow rate of 2.0 mL min(-1) and injecting 150 microL sample volumes, the sampling frequency of the 90 determinations per hour is afforded. This method is based on three steps involving the flow-injection of: (1) the sample spiked with a standard solution, (2) the pure sample and (3) the enzymatically treated sample with peroxidase immobilized. The reproducibility of the current peaks for hydrogen peroxide in 10(-5) mol L(-1) range concentration showed a relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) better than 1%. The detection limit of this method is 2.9 x 10(-7) mol L(-1). The honey samples analyses were compared with the parallel spectrophotometric determination, and showed an excellent correlation between the methods. 相似文献

A hybrid-exchange DFT hamiltonian and a periodic slab model have been employed to simulate water dissociation at the border of sub-monolayer MgO films deposited on Ag(100). Non-polar and polar borders have been considered, but the reaction energy is higher in the former case. We present a first-principles density functional theory study on the structural, electronic and dynamical properties of a novel barium doped graphene phase. Low energy electron diffraction of barium doped graphene presents clear evidence of (2 × 2) spots induced by barium adatoms with BaC8 stoichiometry. First principles calculations reveals that the phase is thermodynamically stable but unstable to segregation towards the competitive BaC6 monolayer phase. The calculation of phonon spectrum confirms the dynamical stability of the BaC8 phase indicating its metastability, probably stabilized by doping and strain conditions due to the substrate. Barium induces a relevant doping of the graphene π states and new barium-derived hole Fermi surface at the M-point of the (2 × 2) Brillouin zone. In view of possible superconducting phase induced by foreign dopants in graphene, we studied the electron–phonon coupling of this novel (2 × 2) obtaining λ = 0.26, which excludes the stabilization of a superconducting phase. 相似文献
