Intramolecular rhodium(II)-catalysed aromatic addition (Buchner) reactions of a range of α- and β-substituted α-diazoketones are reported. Both steric and electronic effects are evident for the aromatic additions investigated. In general, highly efficient aromatic addition is achieved through use of rhodium carboxylates bearing electronegative ligands, such as rhodium trifluoroacetate, while aromatic addition employing rhodium catalysts with more electron-donating ligands, such as rhodium caprolactam, is less efficient. Excellent levels of diastereoselectivity are possible for this process in the presence of rhodium acetate and rhodium caprolactam, however, a reduction in diastereocontrol is generally associated with use of the more reactive, electronegative catalysts. Interestingly, these catalyst effects can be overcome through the steric effects of the substituents on the α-diazoketone substrates, with the presence of sterically bulky substituents at the 2- or 3-position rendering the aromatic addition essentially catalyst independent in terms of efficiency and diastereocontrol. 相似文献

Beta-2-Deoxy sugar nucleotides are substrates used by a variety of glycosyltransferases (Gtfs). We have developed a chemical route to synthesize beta-2-deoxy sugar phosphates that starts from alpha-glycosyl chlorides. A kinetic study of the anionic polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) in aqueous emulsion has been carried out in the presence of ionic additives. The rate of polymerization of several cyclosiloxanes has been compared, leading to additional evidence for an interfacial mechanism of polymerization. The emulsion process has been applied to the cationic polymerization of D4 and of tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane (DH4) initiated by dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid. Very efficient for the synthesis of linear polymethylhydrogenosiloxanes (PMHS), these conditions did not seem suitable for the polymerization of D4. The extension of the process to other heterocyclic monomers is discussed through the anionic polymerization of phenylglycidylether. 相似文献

A useful and rapid access to libraries of N‐arylbenzo[b]furo[3,2‐d]pyrimidin‐4‐amines ( 1 ) and their novel benzo[b]thieno[3,2‐d]pyrimidin‐4‐amine analogues ( 2 ) was investigated for the first time. Title compounds were obtained via microwave‐accelerated condensation and Dimroth rearrangement of suitable anilines with N′‐(2‐cyanaryl)‐N,N‐dimethylformimidamides obtained by reaction of benzo[b]furane and benzo[b]thiophene precursors with N,N‐dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal. This work also demonstrates that well‐controlled parameters offer comfortable use of microwave technology and are both safe and beneficial to the environment. Some products obtained in this article exhibit interesting in vitro antiproliferative effects. 相似文献

The use of di-2-pyridyl ketone oxime, (py)2CNOH, in manganese carboxylate chemistry has been investigated. Using a variety of synthetic routes complexes [Mn(O2CPh)2{(py)2CNOH}2].0.25H2O (1.0.25H2O), Mn4(O2CPh)2{(py)2CO2}2{(py)2CNO}2Br2].MeCN (2.MeCN), [Mn4(O2CPh)2{(py)2CO2}2{(py)2CNO}2Cl(2)].2MeCN (3.2MeCN), [Mn4(O2CMe)2{(py)2CO2}2{(py)2CNO}2Br2].2MeCN (4.2MeCN), [Mn4(O2CMe)2{(py)2CO2}2{(py)2CNO}2(NO3)2].MeCN.H2O (5.MeCN.H2O) and [Mn2(O2CCF3)2(hfac)2{(py)2CNOH}2] (6) have been isolated in good yields. Remarkable features of the reactions are the in situ transformation of an amount of (py)2CNOH to yield the coordination dianion, (py)2CO2(2-), of the gem-diol derivative of di-2-pyridyl ketone in 2-5, the coordination of nitrate ligands in 5 although the starting materials are nitrate-free and the incorporation of CF3CO2- ligands 6 in which was prepared from Mn(hfac)(2).3H2O (hfac(-)= hexafluoroacetylacetonate). Complexes 2-4 have completely analogous molecular structures. The centrosymmetric tetranuclear molecule contains two MnII and two MnIII six-coordinate ions held together by four mu-oxygen atoms from the two 3.2211 (py)2CO2(2-) ligands to give the unprecedented [MnII(mu-OR)MnIII(mu-OR)2MnIII(mu-OR)MnII]6+ core consisting of a planar zig-zag array of the four metal ions. Peripheral ligation is provided by two 2.111 (py)2CNO-, two 2.11 PhCO2- and two terminal Br- ligands. The overall molecular structure 5 of is very similar to that of 2-4 except for the X- being chelating NO3-. A tentative reaction scheme was proposed that explains the observed oxime transformation and nitrate generation. The CF3CO2- ligand is one of the decomposition products of the hfac- ligand. The two Mn(II) ions are bridged by two neutral (py)2CNOH ligands which adopt the 2.0111 coordination mode. A chelating hfac- ligand and a terminal CF3CO2- ion complete a distorted octahedral geometry at each metal ion. The CV of complex reveals irreversible reduction and oxidation processes. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies in the 2-300 K range for the representative tetranuclear clusters 2 and 4 reveal weak antiferromagnetic exchange interactions, leading to non-magnetic ST = 0 ground states. Best-fit parameters obtained by means of the program CLUMAG and applying the appropriate Hamiltonian are J(Mn(II)Mn((III))=-1.7 (2), -1.5 (4) cm(-1) and J(Mn(III)Mn(III))=-3.0 (2, 4) cm(-1). 相似文献

We describe in this work the copolymerization reaction of 3-trimethoxysilyl propyl methacrylate (MPS) with styrene (Styr.) and n-butyl acrylate (BuA) monomers through emulsion polymerization. The so-produced hybrid copolymer (P(BuA-co-MPS)) and terpolymer (P(Styr-co-BuA-co-MPS)) latexes were cast into films that displayed a good optical transparency. The copolymers microstructure in the films was characterized by FTIR, 13C and 29Si solid state NMR spectroscopies, and was found to be highly dependent on parameters such as the monomer feed composition, the suspension pH and the silane addition profile. The films obtained from the hybrid latexes showed improved dynamic mechanical properties indicating that a reinforcing organo-mineral network had formed in the composite materials. The dynamic modulus of the hybrids increased with increasing silane contents while, concurrently, the tan δ peak shifted to higher temperatures, broadened and decreased in intensity. Water-soluble calix[4]resorcinarenes containing 3- and 4-hydroxyproline, d-nipecotic acid, (S)-2-(methoxymethyl)pyrrolidine, (S)-2-pyrrolidine methanol, and (S,S)-(+)-2,4-bis(methoxymethyl)pyrrolidine substituents are synthesized and evaluated as chiral NMR solvating agents. The derivatives with the hydroxyproline groups are especially effective at causing enantiomeric discrimination in the spectra of water-soluble cationic and anionic compounds with pyridyl, phenyl, and bicyclic aromatic rings. Binding studies show that mono- and ortho-substituted phenyl rings associate within the cavity of the calix[4]resorcinarenes, as do naphthyl rings with mono-, 2,3-, and 1,8-substitution patterns. Anthracene derivatives with an amino or sulfonyl group at the 1-position bind within the cavity, as well. Aromatic resonances of the substrates exhibit substantial upfield shifts because of shielding from the aromatic rings of the calix[4]resorcinarene. The effectiveness of the reagents at producing chiral recognition in 1H NMR spectra is demonstrated with sodium mandelate, the sodium salt of tryptophan, and doxylamine succinate. While no one reagent is consistently the most effective, the calix[4]resorcinarenes with trans-4-hydroxyproline and trans-3-hydroxyproline moieties generally produce the largest nonequivalence in the 1H NMR spectra of the substrates. 相似文献

We use the Billera-Liu algebra to show how the flag f-vectors of several special
classes of polytopes fit into the closed convex hull of the flag f-vectors
of all polytopes. In particular, we describe inequalities that define the faces of
the closed convex hull of the flag f-vectors of all d-polytopes that are spanned
by the flag f-vectors of simplicial, simple, k-simplicial, and k-simple d-polytopes. We also describe inequalities that define the face of the closed convex hull of the flag f-vectors of all d-zonotopes spanned by the flag f-vectors of cubical d-zonotopes, and give an upper bound on the dimension of the span of the flag f-vectors of k-cubical zonotopes. A well‐defined poly(ethylene glycol) based hyperbranched thermoresponsive copolymer with high content of acrylate vinyl groups was synthesized via a “one‐pot and one‐step” deactivation enhanced atom transfer radical polymerization approach, which provided an injectable and in situ crosslinkable system via Michael‐type thiol‐ene reaction with a thiol‐modified hyaluronan biopolymer. The hyperbranched structure, molecular weight, and percentage of vinyl content of the copolymer were characterized by gel permeation chromatography and 1H NMR. The lower critical solution temperature of this copolymer is close to body temperature, which can result in a rapid thermal gelation at 37 °C. The scanning electron microscopy analysis of crosslinked hydrogel showed the network formation with porous structure, and 3D cell culture study demonstrated the good cell viability after the cells were embedded inside the hydrogel. This injectable and in situ crosslinking hybrid hydrogel system offers great promise as a new class of hybrid biomaterials for tissue engineering. 相似文献
