‘Gear-like’ rotations of simple C-C bonds have been observed in some aziridine methanol derivatives. These restricted rotations have been studied by dynamic and multinuclear magnetic resonance experiments, and the barrier for rotations of Csp3-Csp3 and Csp3-Csp2 bonds have been calculated. This review covers two aspects concerning cooperativity in multiple weak bonds: a summary of literature results and a theoretical study of a complete series of model complexes. All the 15 combination of five weak bonds were explored: hydrogen bonds, hydric bonds, dihydrogen bonds, halogen bonds and ion–π interactions. Since in several cases there were no examples reported, a systematic exploration has been carried out on simple models at the MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level. In this work is reported the synthesis of nanotubes and nanoribbons from mixed oxides (Ti1−x Zr x O2·nH2O), employing hydrothermal treatment in a highly alkaline medium. The morphology and crystal structure of the products obtained via hydrothermal treatment depend on the value of x. For example, for x equal to 0 and 0.50 were observed the presence of nanotubes (diameter around 9 nm) and nanoribbons (diameter around 200 nm), respectively. However, for x values above 0.50, there was no morphological change. Regarding the crystalline structure of these samples, for x equal to 0 was observed the sodium titanate phase; already for x values up to 0.50, we observed the presence of two crystalline phases: sodium titanate and tetragonal ZrO2. For x values above 0.50, only tetragonal ZrO2 was observed. Furthermore, only the product obtained from x equal to 0.15 was observed the presence of three-dimensional flower-like arrangements. The results obtained by the characterization techniques showed the segregation of zirconium after hydrothermal treatment of precursors with x less or equal to 0.50. Thus, we describe the important role that Ti/Zr molar ratio of the precursor plays on the morphology and crystalline phase of the products formed by hydrothermal treatment. 相似文献

[formula: see text] In this contribution, we describe the ability of compound (+/-)-1b and six molecules of water to form in solid-state hexameric aggregates, which self-assemble to give hollow tubular structures. Single-crystal X-ray analysis shows that these tubes are open-ended, with irregular shape and internal van der Waals pore diameter between 6 and 9 A. [reaction: see text]. Rate constants for hydrogen abstraction from phenols by a prefluorescent-TEMPO probe are reported. The nitroxide is employed as a potential model of peroxyl radicals. The probe works by nitroxide suppression of the fluorescence of the chromophore. The fluorescence is restored when the nitroxide abstracts a hydrogen atom to produce the diamagnetic hydroxylamine. The phenols studied in this project exhibited rate constants between 0.003 and 0.2 M(-1) s(-1). A deuterium isotope effect of 10 for TROLOX confirms that the mechanism is dominated by hydrogen transfer. 相似文献

In this work three methods to diminish the content of most highly abundant proteins in human serum have been studied and compared. Protein depletion with ACN or DTT and protein equalization with the ProteoMiner? (PM) have been assessed by 1‐D gel electrophoresis and MS. After treatment 5, 18 and 9 major proteins within the 20 most abundant proteins in serum were identified for the ACN, DTT and PM methods, respectively. The ACN method was efficient for depleting high molecular weight proteins, over 75 KDa, resulting in 10±4% (n=3) of the total protein content remaining in the depleted serum. In addition, 75% of the proteins belonging to the group of the 20 most abundant proteins were not detected, making this depletion strategy a cheap alternative to expensive commercial tools regularly used for removing high abundance proteins from serum. The ACN extract was found rich in apolipoproteins. The dithithreitol method promotes the precipitation of proteins rich in disulfide bonds, mainly albumin, with 73±7% (n=3) of the total protein content remaining in the depleted serum, which was found rich in immunoglobulins. The PM method compresses the dynamic range of the serum proteins, rendering an extract containing 16±2% (n=3) of the total initial protein content. The extract was found to be rich in both apolipoproteins and immunoglobulins. As a general rule the DTT and PM methods provide a compression of the dynamic range of serum protein concentrations while the ACN method allows an effective depletion of the protein fraction above 72 KDa. 相似文献

Suppressing the mobility of anionic species in polymer electrolytes (PEs) is essential for mitigating the concentration gradient and internal cell polarization, and thereby improving the stability and cycle life of rechargeable alkali metal batteries. Now, an ether‐functionalized anion (EFA) is used as a counter‐charge in a lithium salt. As the salt component in PEs, it achieves low anionic diffusivity but sufficient Li‐ion conductivity. The ethylene oxide unit in EFA endows nanosized self‐agglomeration of anions and trapping interactions between the anions and its structurally homologous matrix, poly(ethylene oxide), thus suppressing the mobility of negative charges. In contrast to previous strategies of using anion traps or tethering anions to a polymer/inorganic backbone, this work offers a facile and elegant methodology on accessing selective and efficient Li‐ion transport in PEs and related electrolyte materials (for example, composites and hybrid electrolytes). 相似文献
