A series of new bis(guanidinate) alkoxide Group 3 metal complexes [Ln((Me3Si)2NC(NiPr)2)2(OR)] (R=OtBu, Ln=Y, Nd, Sm, Lu; R=OiPr, Ln=Y, Nd, Lu) has been synthesized. X-ray structural determinations revealed that bis(guanidinate) tert-butoxides are monomeric complexes. The isopropoxide complex [Y((Me3Si)2NC(NiPr)2)2(OiPr)] undergoes slow decomposition in solution, to afford the unusual dimeric amido complex [(Y((Me3Si)2NC(NiPr)2)2(mu-N(iPr)C triple chemical bond N))2]. Complexes [Ln((Me3Si)2NC(NiPr)2)2(OR)] (R=OtBu, Ln=Y, Nd, Sm, Lu; R=OiPr, Ln=Y, Nd, Lu) are active catalysts/initiators for the ROP of rac-lactide and rac-beta-butyrolactone under mild conditions. Most of those polymerizations proceed with a significant degree of control. Bis(guanidinate) alkoxides appear to be well suited for achieving immortal polymerization of lactide, through the introduction of large amounts of isopropanol as a chain-transfer agent. The synthesized complexes are able to promote the stereoselective ROP of rac-beta-butyrolactone to afford syndiotactic poly(hydrobutyrate) through a chain-end control mechanism, while they are surprisingly non-stereoselective for the ROP of lactide under strictly similar conditions. 相似文献

To model the Ti-olefin interaction in the putative [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(R')(olefin)(+) intermediates in "constrained geometry" Ti-catalyzed olefin polymerization, chelated alkoxide olefin complexes [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(+) have been investigated. The reaction of [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(2) (1a,b; R = H, Me) with HOCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2) yields mixtures of [eta(5)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)NH(t)Bu]TiMe(2)(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (2a,b) and [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (3a,b). The reaction of 2a/3a and 2b/3b mixtures with B(C(6)F(5))(3) yields the chelated olefin complexes [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (4a,b; 71 and 89% NMR yield). The reaction of 2b/3b with [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] yields [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] (5b, 88% NMR yield). NMR studies establish that 4a,b and 5b exist as mixtures of diastereomers (isomer ratios: 4a/4a', 62/38; 4b/4b', 75/25; 5b/5b', 75/25), which differ in the enantioface of the olefin that is coordinated. NMR data for these d(0) metal olefin complexes show that the olefin coordinates to Ti in an unsymmetrical fashion primarily through C(term) such that the C=C pi bond is polarized with positive charge buildup on C(int). Dynamic NMR studies show that 4b/4b' undergoes olefin face exchange by a dissociative mechanism which is accompanied by fast inversion of configuration at Ti ("O-shift") in the olefin-dissociated intermediate. The activation parameters for the conversion of 4b to 4b' (i.e., 4b/4b' face exchange) are: DeltaH = 17.2(8) kcal/mol; DeltaS = 8(1) eu. 4a/4a' also undergoes olefin face exchange but with a lower barrier (DeltaH = 12.2(9) kcal/mol; DeltaS = -2(3) eu), for the conversion of 4a to 4a'. 相似文献

Using bosonization techniques, we show that strong forward scattering interactions between one-dimensional spinless Luttinger liquids (LL) can stabilize a phase where charge-density wave, superconducting, and transverse single particle hopping perturbations are irrelevant. This new phase retains its LL-like properties in the directions of the chains, but with relations between exponents modified by the transverse interactions, whereas it is a perfect insulator in the transverse direction. The mechanism that stabilizes this phase is strong transverse charge-density wave fluctuations at incommensurate wave vector, which frustrates crystal formation by preventing lock-in of the in-chain density waves. 相似文献

Treatment of the neutral methyl-Zr-enolate [Cp(2)Zr(Me)[O(tBuO)C=CMe(2)]] (1) with one equivalent of B(C(6)F(5))(3) or [HNMe(2)Ph][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] as a methyl abstractor in THF at 0 degrees C leads to the selective formation of the free ion pair complex [Cp(2)Zr(THF)[O(tBuO)C=CMe(2)]](+) [anion](-) (2) (anion=MeB(C(6)F(5))(3) (-), B(C(6)F(5))(4) (-)), which is relevant to the controlled polymerization of methacrylates. Cation 2 rapidly decomposes at 20 degrees C in THF with release of one equivalent of isobutene to form the cationic Zr-carboxylate species [Cp(2)Zr(THF)(O(2)CiPr)](+) (3), through a proposed intramolecular proton transfer process from the tert-butoxy group to the enolate. The reaction of 1 with one equivalent of B(C(6)F(5))(3) or [HNMe(2)Ph][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] in CH(2)Cl(2) leads to the direct, rapid formation of the dimeric micro-isobutyrato-Zr dicationic species [[Cp(2)Zr[micro-(O(2)CiPr)]](2)](2+) (4), which gives 3 upon dissolution in THF. Contrastingly, when [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] is used to generate the cationic Zr-enolate species from 1 in CD(2)Cl(2), a 15:85 mixture of dicationic complexes 4 and [[Cp(2)Zr[micro-(O(2)C-C(Me)=CH(2))]](2)](2+)[B(C(6)F(5))(4)]]2-(5-[B(C(6)F(5))(4)](2)) is obtained quantitatively. The formation of 5 is proposed to arise from initial hydride abstraction from a methyl enolate group by Ph(3)C(+), as supported by the parallel production of Ph(3)CH, and subsequent elimination of methane and isobutene. In addition to standard spectroscopic and analytical characterizations for the isolated complexes 2-5, complexes 4 and 5 have also been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction studies. 相似文献

Herein, we report the preparation of bridged tetrahydrobenzo[b]azepines, which was accomplished through an aza-Piancatelli cyclization/Michael addition sequence in a one-pot fashion from readily available precursors. We present a detailed derivation of the renormalization group equations for two-dimensional electromagnetic Coulomb gases whose charges lie on a triangular lattice (magnetic charges) and its dual (electric charges). The interactions between the charges involve both angular couplings and a new electromagnetic potential. This motivates the denomination of “elastic” Coulomb gas. Such elastic Coulomb gases arise naturally in the study of the continuous melting transition of two-dimensional solids coupled to a substrate, either commensurate or with quenched disorder. 相似文献

Single‐site catalysts : Syndiospecific styrene polymerization promoted by single‐site ansa‐lanthanidocene catalysts proceeds selectively in a secondary (2,1) fashion, both at the initiation and propagation steps. The steric hindrance between the phenyl ring of the incoming styrene monomer and the ancillary ligands (Cp′, Flu′), induced by the change of either the bridge or the “active” R ligand in the catalyst precursor, is proposed to control the reactivity of the complexes (see scheme).
