The resistivity of the organic conductor HMTSF-TNAP has been measured at pressures up to 25 kbar and at temperatures down to 1.2 K. Under pressure the increase in the stacking axis resistivity of HMTSF-TNAP (Δ2,2 -Bi(4,5-trimethylene-1,3-diselenole)-11,11′,12,12′-tetracyano-2m6- naphtoquinodimethane) below 47 K is reduced, although the transition temperature Tp falls at only 0.7 K kbar?1. This weak pressure dependence compared to that of HMTSF-TCNQ correlates with the larger resistivity anisotropy in the TNAP salt.  相似文献

Mean field calculations of the Peierls instability have been carried out for arbitrary bandfilling both in the case of free electrons as well as for the tightbinding approximation. New expressions for Δ(0) and Tp are derived which change the experimentally derived λ to a more reasonable value. Δ(0)/kBTp may differ significantly from the BCS value 1.76 in the tightbinding approximation.  相似文献

A flow-batch system allowing in-line individual sample matrix matching is proposed for analysis of sample lots with high variability in acidity. The feasibility of the approach is demonstrated in the spectrophotometric determination of total nitrogen in Kjeldahl digests, using a column with a slightly soluble reagent (AgCl). The solutions are sequentially injected by means of an 8-port selecting valve and processed in a mixing chamber that is also used as a monitoring unit. The system yields reproducible results (r.s.d. usually < 2.5%) and the sampling rate is 14 samples/h. The analytical curve is linear within 1.00 and 6.00% N (dry basis), and the regression coefficient is > 0.999 (n = 6). Results are in agreement with certified values of standard reference materials and with results obtained by conductometry. The objective of this study was to evaluate antiproliferative activity, antioxidant capacity and tannin content in plants from semi-arid northeastern Brazil (Caatinga). For this study, we selected 14 species and we assayed the methanol extracts for antiproliferative activity against the HEp-2 (laryngeal cancer) and NCI-H292 (lung cancer) cell lines using the (3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazole) (MTT) method. In addition, the antioxidant activity was evaluated with the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) assay, and the tannin content was determined by the radial diffusion method. Plants with better antioxidant activity (expressed in a dose able to decrease the initial DPPH concentration by 50%, or IC50) and with higher levels of tannins were: Poincianella pyramidalis (42.95±1.77 μg/mL IC50 and 8.17±0.64 tannin content), Jatropha mollissima (54.09±4.36μg/mL IC50 and 2.35±0.08 tannin content) and Anadenanthera colubrina (73.24±1.47 μg/mL IC50 and 4.41±0.47 tannin content). Plants with enhanced antiproliferative activity (% living cells) were Annona muricata (24.94±0.74 in NCI-H292), Lantana camara (25.8±0.19 in NCI-H292), Handroanthus impetiginosus (41.8±0.47 in NCI-H292) and Mentzelia aspera (45.61±1.94 in HEp-2). For species with better antioxidant and antiproliferative activities, we suggest future in vitro and in vivo comparative studies with other pharmacological models, and to start a process of purification and identification of the possible molecule(s) responsible for the observed pharmacological activity. We believe that the flora of Brazilian semi-arid areas can be a valuable source of plants rich in tannins, cytotoxic compounds and antioxidant agents.  相似文献

We reveal that the transition in the saturated flux for aeolian saltation is generically discontinuous by explicitly simulating particle motion in turbulent flow. This is the first time that a jump in the saturated flux has been observed. The discontinuity is followed by a coexistence interval with two metastable solutions. The modification of the wind profile due to momentum exchange exhibits a maximum at high shear strength.  相似文献

The quality control of groundwater monitoring requires the availability of representative CRMs. This paper describes the preparation of two artificial groundwater reference materials, CRM 616 (high carbonate content) and CRM 617 (low carbonate content), the homogeneity and stability studies and the analytical work performed for the certification of a range of major elements (Ca, Cl, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, NO3, PO4 and SO4). Low‐field 1H NMR was used in this work for the analysis of mixtures involving crude oils and water. CPMG experiments were performed to determine the transverse relaxation time (T2) distribution curves, which were computed by the inverse Laplace transform of the echo decay data. The instrument's ability of quantifying water and petroleum in biphasic mixtures following different methodologies was tested. For mixtures between deionized water and petroleum, one achieved excellent results, with root mean squared error of cross‐validation (RMSECV) of 0.8% for a regression between the water content (wt %) and the relative area of the water peak in the T2 distribution curve, or a standard deviation of 0.9% for the relationship between the water content and the relative water peak area, corrected by the relative hydrogen index of the crude. In the case of biphasic mixtures of Mn2+‐doped water and crude oils, the best result of RMSECV = 1.6% was achieved by using the raw magnetization decay data for a partial least squares regression. Sediments are the fate of several emerging organic contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals, personal care products and hormones, and therefore an important subject in environmental monitoring studies. In the present work, a simple and sensitive method was developed, validated and applied for the simultaneous extraction of atenolol, caffeine, carbamazepine, diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen, propranolol, triclosan, estrone, 17‐β‐estradiol and 17‐α‐ethinylestradiol using ultrasound‐assisted extraction from freshwater sediment samples followed by solid‐phase extraction clean‐up and liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection. The solvent type and extraction pH were evaluated to obtain the highest recoveries of the compounds. The best method shows absolute recoveries between 54.0 and 94.4% at 50 ng/g concentration. The method exhibits good precision with relative standard deviation ranging from 1.0–16%. The detection and quantification limits ranged from 0.006–0.067 and 0.016–0.336 ng/g, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to freshwater sediment samples collected from different sites in Jundiaí River basin of São Paulo State, Brazil. The compounds atenolol, caffeine, propranolol and triclosan were detected in all the sampling sites with concentrations of 13.8, 41.0, 28.5 and 176 ng/g, respectively.  相似文献
