Nonanuclear cluster complexes [Ru9(mu3-H)2(mu-H)(mu5-O)(mu4-ampy)(mu3-Hampy)(CO)21] (4) (H2ampy = 2-amino-6-methylpyridine), [Ru9(mu5-O)2(mu4-ampy)(mu3-Hampy)2(mu-CO)(CO)20] (5), [Ru9(mu5-O)2(mu4-ampy)(mu3-Hampy)2(mu-CO)2(CO)19] (6), and [Ru9(mu4-O)(mu5-O)(mu4-ampy)(mu3-Hampy)(mu-Hampy)(mu-CO)(CO)19] (7), together with the known hexanuclear [Ru6(mu3-H)2(mu5-ampy)(mu-CO)2(CO)14] (2) and the novel pentanuclear [Ru5(mu4-ampy)(2)(mu-CO)(CO)12] (3) complexes, are products of the thermolysis of [Ru3(mu-H)(mu3-Hampy)(CO)9] (1) in decane at 150 degrees C. Two different and very unusual quadruply bridging coordination modes have been observed for the ampy ligand. Compounds 4-7 also feature one (4) or two (5-7) bridging oxo ligands. With the exception of one of the oxo ligands of 7, which is in a distorted tetrahedral environment, the remaining oxo ligands of 4-7 are surrounded by five metal atoms. In carbonyl metal clusters, quadruply bridging oxo ligands are very unusual, whereas quintuply bridging oxo ligands are unprecedented. By using 18O-labeled water, we have unambiguously established that these oxo ligands arise from water.  相似文献

We present a successive microfluidic approach to create and characterize hierarchical catalyst structures consisting of metal-decorated nanoparticles that are assembled into porous microparticles ("supraball" catalysts). First, using a silicon microreactor, platinum nanoparticles with a very narrow size distribution are grown and immobilized uniformly onto iron oxide/silica core-shell nanospheres. The Pt-decorated silica nanospheres are then assembled into uniform, spherical, micron-sized particles by using emulsion templates generated with a microfluidic drop generator. Finally, the assembled supraballs are loaded into a packed-bed microreactor for characterization of the catalytic reactivity. The prepared material showed excellent catalytic activity for the oxidation of aldehyde with only ~1 mg of material (containing ~50 μg of platinum nanoparticles). After the reactions, all the supraball catalysts are recovered by using the magnetic property of the underlying iron oxide/silica core-shell nanospheres.  相似文献

Multifunctional materials, especially those combining two or more properties of interest, are attracting immense attention due to their potential applications. MOFs, metal organic frameworks, can be regarded as multifunctional materials if they show another useful property in addition to the adsorption behavior. Here, we report a new multifunctional light hybrid, MgH(6)ODTMP·2H(2)O(DMF)(0.5) (1), which has been synthesized using the tetraphosphonic acid H(8)ODTMP, octamethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(methylenephosphonic acid), by high-throughput methodology. Its crystal structure, solved by Patterson-function direct methods from synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction, was characterized by a 3D pillared open framework containing cross-linked 1D channels filled with water and DMF. Upon H(2)O and DMF removal and subsequent rehydration, MgH(6)ODTMP·2H(2)O (2) and MgH(6)ODTMP·6H(2)O (3) can be formed. These processes take place through crystalline-quasi-amorphous-crystalline transformations, during which the integrity of the framework is maintained. A water adsorption study, at constant temperature, showed that this magnesium tetraphosphonate hybrid reversibly equilibrates its lattice water content as a function of the water partial pressure. Combination of the structural study and gas adsorption characterization (N(2), CO(2), and CH(4)) indicates an ultramicroporous framework. High-pressure CO(2) adsorption data are also reported. Finally, impedance data indicates that 3 has high proton conductivity σ = 1.6 × 10(-3) S cm(-1) at T = 292 K at ~100% relative humidity with an activation energy of 0.31 eV.  相似文献

The reactions of the triruthenium cluster complex [Ru3(mu-H)(mu3-eta2-HNNMe2)(CO)9] (1; H2NNMe2=1,1-dimethylhydrazine) with alkynes (PhC triple bond CPh, HC triple bond CH, MeO2CC triple bond CCO2Me, PhC triple bond CH, MeO2CC triple bond CH, HOMe2CC triple bond CH, 2-pyC triple bond CH) give trinuclear complexes containing edge-bridging and/or face-capping alkenyl ligands. Whereas the edge-bridged products are closed triangular species (three Ru-Ru bonds), the face-capped products are open derivatives (two Ru-Ru bonds). For terminal alkynes, products containing gem (RCCH2) and/or trans (RHCCH) alkenyl ligands have been identified in both edge-bridging and face-capping positions, except for the complex [Ru3(mu3-eta2-HNNMe2)(mu3-eta3-HCCH-2-py)(mu-CO)(CO)7], which has the two alkenyl H atoms in a cis arrangement. Under comparable reaction conditions (1:1 molar ratio, THF at reflux, time required for the consumption of complex 1), some reactions give a single product, but most give mixtures of isomers (not all the possible ones), which were separated. To determine the effect of the hydrazido ligand, the reactions of [Ru3(mu-H)(mu3-eta2-MeNNHMe)(CO)9] (2; HMeNNHMe=1,2-dimethylhydrazine) with PhC triple bond CPh, PhC triple bond CH, and HC triple bond CH were also studied. For edge-bridged alkenyl complexes, the Ru--Ru edge that is spanned by the alkenyl ligand depends on the position of the methyl groups on the hydrazido ligand. For face-capped alkenyl complexes, the relative orientation of the hydrazido and alkenyl ligands also depends on the position of the methyl groups on the hydrazido ligand. A kinetic analysis of the reaction of 1 with PhC[triple chemical bond]CPh revealed that the reaction follows an associative mechanism, which implies that incorporation of the alkyne in the cluster is rate-limiting and precedes the release of a CO ligand. X-ray diffraction, IR and NMR spectroscopy, and calculations of minimum-energy structures by DFT methods were used to characterize the products. A comparison of the absolute energies of isomeric compounds (obtained by DFT calculations) helped rationalize the experimental results.  相似文献

This paper reports excess molar enthalpies, HmE, and excess molar volumes, VmE, of the binary systems {propyl propanoate + o-xylene}, {propyl propanoate + m-xylene} and {propyl propanoate + p-xylene} at the temperature 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure, over the whole composition range. VmE was calculated from the experimental measurement of the corresponding densities, while HmE was measured directly. The excess magnitudes were correlated to a Redlich-Kister type equation. Finally, we will discuss the results of the three mixtures studied here and by comparison with other binary systems containing propyl propanoate and a benzene-based compound previously published.  相似文献

The pharmacological activity of four new progesterone derivatives: 4-bromo-17alpha-(p-fluorobenzoyloxy)-4-pregnene-3,20-dione (7), 4-bromo-17alpha-(p-bromobenzoyloxy)-4-pregnene-3,20-dione (8), 4-bromo-17alpha-(p-chlorobenzoyloxy)-pregnene-3,20-dione (9) and 4-bromo-17alpha-(p-toluoyloxy)-4-pregnene-3,20-dione (10) was determined. These compounds were evaluated as 5alpha-reductase inhibitors on gonadectomized hamster seminal vesicles and flank organs. The pharmacological data of this study indicate that compounds 7 and 9 having at C-17 p-fluorobenzoyloxy and p-chlorobenzoyloxy ester functions respectively showed the highest antiandrogenic effect as measured by the reduction of the weight of the seminal vesicles. In the flank organ model, the same compounds 7 and 9 exhibited a smaller diameter, 1.8 and 1.0 mm, respectively, than the commercially available finasteride 3 (2.3 mm), thus indicating a higher inhibitory effect on 5alpha-reductase enzyme. Steroid 7 showed a higher inhibitory activity on the conversion of T to DHT (Fig. 3) than the presently used finasteride, thus indicating a higher antiandrogenic effect. The nonsubstituted benzoyloxy ester (compound 15) showed a lower antiandrogenic activity as measured in the seminal vesicles model than the p-substituted benzoyloxy compounds.  相似文献

The pharmacological activity of several 16-bromosubstituted trienediones 4 and 5, 16-methyl substituted dienediones 6 and 7 and the 16-methyl substituted trienedione 8 was determined on gonadectomized hamster seminal vesicles by measuring the in vitro conversion of testosterone (T) to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) as 5alpha-reductase inhibitors and also the ability of these steroids to bind to the androgen receptor. Steroids 6 and 7 when injected together with T decreased the weight of the seminal vesicles thus showing an antiandrogenic effect. Compounds 5 and 6 reduced substantially the conversion of T to DHT and therefore can be considered good inhibitors for the enzyme 5alpha-reductase; however both steroids failed to form a complex with the androgen receptor. On the other hand compound 7 which showed a very small inhibitory activity for the enzyme 5alpha-reductase, exhibited a very high affinity for the androgen receptor and thus can be considered an effective antiandrogen. This compound also reduced substantially the weight of the seminal vesicles. Steroids 4 and 8 did not reduce the weight of the seminal vesicles and exhibited a low affinity for the androgen receptor; 8 showed a weak 5alpha-reductase inhibitory activity, whereas 4 exhibited a weak androgenic effect.  相似文献

We report ab initio computations with the Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package (VASP) aimed at elucidating the adsorption mechanism of graphene-like structures on (111) Pd, Pt, and Ni surfaces. To study the adsorption properties, we simulate an already-formed graphene layer. We present a comparative discussion of the graphene interactions with the three metals, focusing on the very particular adsorption of graphene over Pd.  相似文献
