For a desired range of offsets, universal rotations of arbitrary flip angle can be constructed based on point-to-point rotations of I(y) with half the flip angle. This approach allows, for example, creation of broadband or bandselective refocusing pulses from broadband or bandselective excitation pulses. Furthermore, universal rotations about any axis can be obtained from point-to-point transformations that can easily be optimized using optimal control algorithms. The construction procedure is demonstrated on the examples of a broadband refocusing pulse, a broadband 120(x) degrees rotation and a z-rotation with offset pattern.  相似文献

Azamacrocyclic fluorophores containing piperazine units were synthesized using sequential rhodium-catalyzed regioselective hydroformylation-reductive amination. A piperazine unit is introduced into the macrocycles to act simultaneously as electron donor and binding site. The macrocycles chelate divalent cations, either Zn2+ or Co2+, which considerably enhanced fluorescence. Complexation with Zn2+ was additionally confirmed by NMR.  相似文献

The effects of 17-ethinylestradiol (EE), an endocrine disruptor, on zoo- and phytoplankton were studied in outdoor 230-L still-water microcosms. Cell density and biomass, diversity, and community composition were analyzed. Five microcosms were treated by controlled release for six weeks, three by direct application of EE. To investigate recovery, sampling was continued for four weeks after treatment. Most characteristics of the zooplankton were not unambiguously affected by EE. Only the relative density of copepods, especially of their larvae, decreased significantly after EE application. For phytoplankton, no unambiguous concentration- or toxodose-correlated effects on any biotic characteristics could be found. However, most properties of the phytoplankton deviated from those of controls, i.e. tended to be smaller (number of species per microcosm, biomass, cell density) or covered a wider range (diversity, evenness). PCA indicated a shift of species structure in the treated microcosms. This was supported by the species scores calculated by the principal response curve method, although the principal response curve itself showed no clear EE-correlated shifts. Polarization transfer under planar mixing conditions is a widely used tool in modern NMR-experiments. In the case of two coupled spins 1/2 or a chain of three or more spins 1/2 with only nearest neighbor couplings, it is only possible to transfer a single magnetization component (longitudinal magnetization in the principle axis system of the planar coupling tensors). However, if all couplings in a three-spin system are non-zero, it turns out that all magnetization components can be efficiently transferred even under strictly planar mixing conditions. In this article a detailed theoretical analysis is presented based on analytical transverse coherence transfer functions and on the underlying commutator algebra. In addition, transverse magnetization transfer is demonstrated experimentally. The results show that in highly coupled spin systems, as for example in the case of partially aligned samples with many residual dipolar couplings, special care has to be taken to avoid phase distortions if planar mixing steps are used.  相似文献

With the application of RDCs in high-resolution NMR studies of macromolecules, there has been an interest in the development of accurate, sensitive methods for measuring 15N-1H and 13C-1H one-bond coupling constants. Most methods for determining these couplings are based on the measurement of the displacement between cross-peak components in J-coupled spectra. However, for large macromolecules and macromolecular complexes, these methods are often unreliable since differential relaxation can significantly broaden one of the multiplet components (i.e., the anti-TROSY component) and thereby make accurate determination of its position difficult. To overcome this problem, a J-evolved transverse relaxation optimized (JE-TROSY) method is presented for the determination of one-bond couplings that involves J-evolution of the sharpest cross-peak multiplet component selected in a TROSY experiment. Couplings are measured from the displacement of the TROSY component in the additional J-evolution dimension relative to a zero frequency origin. The JE-TROSY method is demonstrated on uniformly labeled 15N, 13C-labeled RNA and peptide samples, as well as with an RNA-protein complex, in which the protein is uniformly 15N, 13C-labeled. In all cases, resolved, sensitive spectra are obtained from which heteronuclear one-bond J-couplings could be accurately and easily measured.  相似文献
