Transformations of bis(2-chloroethyl) arylphosphonites in the presence of haloacetic acid esters

The reaction of aryl(dichloro)phosphines with (2-chloroethoxy)trimethylsilane in the presence of haloacetic acid esters was studied with the goal of developing a new method for the synthesis of ethyl [(2-chloroethoxy)(4-dimethylaminophenyl)phosphoryl]acetate. The effect of various factors, such as substituent in the para position of the aromatic ring in the initial aryl(dichloro)phosphine, halogen nature in haloacetic acid ester, and chloro(trimethyl)silane, on the reaction course was analyzed.     

Reactions of α-Formyl-α-Chlorcyclonones and γ-Butyrolactone with S-Trirnethylsilyl Ester of Dialkyldithiophosphoric Acid

Abstract

α-Formyl-α-chlorsubstituted cyclonones or α-formyl-α-chlor-γ-butyrolactone react with O,O-diizopropyltrimethylsilyldithiophosphate to give adducts which rearrange thermaly to α- dithiophos phoryl contained β-dicarbonic compounds.

Reactions of α-Haloaldehydes with Triethyl Phosphorotrithioite

Triethyl phosphorotrithioite reacts with linear and cyclic α-mono- and α,α-dihaloaldehydes by the Perkow reaction scheme to form O-vinyl phosphorotrithioates. Phosphorus containing spiroaziridines

2-[Benzoylamino(dialkoxyphosphoryl)methyl]-2-chloro-4-butanolides are readily prepared by treating the corresponding half amidal of -chloro--formyl--butyrolactone with chlorophosphites. They undergo intramolecular nucleophilic substitution using sodium hydride to give previously unknown phosphorus containing aziridines.Kazan State Technological University, Kazan 420015. α-(N-Sulfonylamino)alkylphosphonates

-(N-Sulfonylamino)alkyl phosphites, which are intermediate products in the reactions of the corresponding hydroxy derivatives with diethyl phosphorochloridite, undergo in situ phosphorotropic rearrangement to give C-phosphorylated products.     

Oxidation of monohydric and dihydric alcohols with CCl4 catalyzed by molybdenum compounds

Mo(CO)₆ catalyzed oxidation of alcohols and diols with tetrachloromethane. Primary oxidation products in reaction of alcohols with CCl₄ are alkyl hypochlorites, and final products depending on the structure of initial alcohol are aldehydes (as acetals), ketones, chloroketones, and esters.
