An exact analysis of n-dimensional blackbody radiation in the recently proposed nonextensive Tsallis statistics is given here. Thus, the main relationships of blackbody radiation are generalized in the Tsallis context. In particular, it is verified that the relation between pressure, volume, and internal energy is form invariant with respect to the nonextensive entropic index, q. The results and procedure presented here are expected to be useful in the discussion of nonextensive systems possessing large or infinite numbers of degrees of freedom.  相似文献

The self-consistent finite Fermi-system theory with three different parameter sets is used to calculate decay energies and Gamow-Teller strength distributions of neutronrich short-lived nuclides near shell closures Z=50, N=82. Among the parameters, the role of a strong surface neutron-proton attraction and an isovector spin-orbit force is discussed. The obtainedβ-decay half-lives are compared with large-scale calculation results and with available experimental data. Some predictions for the ground state properties of other unstable closed-shell nuclei are presented.  相似文献

The reactions 16O(7Li, 2n) and 16O(7Li, np) populating 21Na and 21Ne have been studied at E L=27 MeV using the GASP γ-detector array. The level schemes for 21Na and 21Ne have been extended to higher spin. The population of the bands with K=3/2 and 1/2, forming parity doublets, are compared. Preferential E1 decay between bands of opposite parity is observed in agreement with the octupole scenario. The structure of these bands can be interpreted as consisting of an instrinsic asymmetric (4He + 16O) structure with octupole deformation.  相似文献

An extensive configuration-interaction study employing an AO basis including f polarization functions is undertaken for the 1Σ+ and 3Π states of the CN+ ion at their respective equilibrium geometries. The importance of a multi-reference set for configuration generation is thereby exemplified in detail; all calculations in which the reference configurations contribute more than 90~c to the final CI vectors (and similar amounts to both states) place the 1Σ+ state lower than 3Π by ΔEe = 0.10–0.20 eV at all stages. i.e. for a selected (large) subset, after extrapolation to the entire MRD CI space of up to 176000 configurations, and also at the estimated full CI level of treatment.  相似文献

“Living” radical polymerization is a relatively new polymerization process that can be used to prepare resins with controlled structures. In this work, a mathematical model developed previously to describe nitroxide‐mediated “living” radical polymerizations performed in tubular reactors is used for the optimization of the process and obtainment of tailor‐made MWDs. Operating conditions and design variables are determined with the help of optimization procedures in order to produce polymers with specified MWDs. It is shown that bimodal and trimodal MWDs, with given peak locations, can be obtained through proper manipulation of the operating conditions. This indicates that the technique discussed in this work is suitable for detailed design of the MWD of the final polymer.

The present paper describes for the first time an intrinsic fluorescent square-planar platinum(II) complex carrying two ursodeoxycholate ligands ([Pt(UDC)2(en)], where UDC(-) = ursodeoxycholate), that emits at room temperature once free in solution. Kinetic studies were carried out in aqueous solution and in the presence of different NaCl concentrations: 4 mM (similar to cytoplasmic concentration) and 150 mM (similar to plasmatic concentration). This novel compound was synthesized from a [PtCl2(en)] complex and shows increased cytotoxic activity against both resting and cycling HeLa cells, with no toxicity for cell lines derived from neoplastic haematopoietic cells.  相似文献

The application of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles in biomaterials has increased significantly in the recent years. Here, we aimed to study the potential deleterious effects of ZnO on blood components, including human serum albumin (HSA), erythrocytes and human isolated primary neutrophils. To test the influence of the morphology of the nanomaterials, ZnO nanoneedles (ZnO-nn) and nanoflowers (ZnO-nf) were synthesized. The zeta potential and mean size of ZnO-nf and ZnO-nn suspensions in phosphate-buffered saline were ?10.73 mV and 3.81 nm and ?5.27 mV and 18.26 nm, respectively. The incubation of ZnO with HSA did not cause its denaturation as verified by the absence of significant alterations in the intrinsic and extrinsic fluorescence and in the circular dichroism spectrum of the protein. The capacity of HSA as a drug carrier was not affected as verified by employing site I and II fluorescent markers. Neither type of ZnO was able to provoke the activation of neutrophils, as verified by lucigenin- and luminol-dependent chemiluminescence and by the extracellular release of hydrogen peroxide. ZnO-nf, but not ZnO-nn, induced the haemolysis of erythrocytes. In conclusion, our results reinforce the concept that ZnO nanomaterials are relatively safe for usage in biomaterials. A potential exception is the capacity of ZnO-nf to promote the lysis of erythrocytes, a discovery that shows the importance of the morphology in the toxicity of nanoparticles.  相似文献

Early plants began colonizing earth about 450 million years ago. During the process of coevolution, their metabolic cellular pathways produced a myriad of natural chemicals, many of which remain uncharacterized biologically. Popular preparations containing some of these molecules have been used medicinally for thousands of years. In Brazilian folk medicine, plant extracts from the bamboo plant Guadua paniculata Munro have been used for the treatment of infections and pain. However, the chemical basis of these therapeutic effects has not yet been identified. Here, we performed protein biochemistry and downstream pharmacological assays to determine the mechanisms underlying the anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive effects of an aqueous extract of the G. paniculata rhizome, which we termed AqGP. The anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive effects of AqGP were assessed in mice. We identified and purified a protein (AgGP), with an amino acid sequence similar to that of thaumatins (~20 kDa), capable of repressing inflammation through downregulation of neutrophil recruitment and of decreasing hyperalgesia in mice. In conclusion, we have identified the molecule and the molecular mechanism responsible for the anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive properties of a plant commonly used in Brazilian folk medicine.  相似文献
