Complex Compounds of Azomethines with an MN2S2 Five-membered Coordination Unit: Metal Chelates of 2-{[4-(3,5-Diphenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzylidene]amino}benzenethiol

Chelate complexes of 2-{[4-(3,5-diphenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzylidene]amino}benzenethiol (LH) of the ML₂ composition and with an M₂N₂S₂ five-membered coordination unit were obtained. The syntheses were carried out by chemical (from LH and metal acetates) and electrochemical (from LH and zerovalent metals) methods in methanol. The chelate compounds were assigned cis-planar (M = Ni) and tetrahedral (M = Co, Zn, Cd) configurations.

A study of metal complexes of macroheterocyclic compounds containing triazine [sic] residues

The reaction of macroheterocyclic compounds containing guanazole and pyrimidine residues with metal salts have given complex compounds of copper, nickel, cobalt, cadmium, and zinc, and their properties have been studied. The introduction of the metal atom into the window of the macrocycle leads to the appearance of new electronic transitions not characteristic for the ligand. The influence of the metal on the chromophoric system of the macroheterocycle has been elucidated by IR spectroscopy.     

Synthesis of 1,3-dialkyl-5-(hetaryl-1-yl)-1,3-dihydrobenzimidazol-2-ones

Reactions of 5-amino-1,3-dialkyl-1,3-dihydrobenzimidazol-2-ones with 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran and 2,6-dimethyl-γ-pyranone led to the formation of 1,3-dialkyl-1,3-dihydro-5-(pyrrol-1-andл)benzimidazol-2-ones and 1-(1,3-dialkyl-2-oxo-1,3-dihydrobenzimidazol-5-yl)-2,6-dimethylpyridin-4-ones.     

Synthesis,structure, and properties of new spirooxindolodibenzodiazepine derivatives

An acid-catalyzed reaction of 3-(2-aminophenylamino)-5,5-dimethylcyclohexen-1-one with isatines leads to the formation of the earlier undescribed 3,3-dimethyl-2,3,4,5,10,11-hexahydrospiro[1H-dibenzo[b,e][1,4]diazepine-11,3′-2H-indole]-1,2′-dione derivatives (6). Spiranes 6 upon heating undergo auto-redox rearrangement with disintegration to 3,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophenazine and the corresponding oxindole. Crystals of four derivatives of compound 6 were studied by X-ray diffraction method.
