 Both origin and changes in phase composition of corrosion products deposited on Standard Carbon Steel during 313 days of exposure were monitored by X-ray diffraction analysis. The corrosion was caused by water from industrial cooling systems in the presence as well as in the absence an inhibitor. The predominant components of the corrosion products were initially found to be carbonates such as CaCO3 as well as hydroxycarbonates like Fe2(OH)2CO3; they were followed by the appearance of other products such as γ-FeOOH, Fe3O4, and α-FeOOH. The corresponding chemical reactions were found to comply with first-order kinetics. The rate constants were calculated from changes in the relative intensities of the corresponding X-ray patterns of Standard Carbon Steel samples. In absence of the inhibitor the rate of the corrosion processes were found to be 2.3 to 3 times higher than in its presence.  相似文献

We present the simulation results of the net charge fluctuation in Au Au collisions at √Snn=130 GeV from a dynamic model, JPCIAE, and its revisions. The simulations are done for the quark-gluon matter, the directly produced pions, the pion matter, and the hadron matter. The simulated net charge fluctuation of the quark-gluon matter is close to the thermal model prediction for the quark-gluon gas. However, the discrepancy exists comparing the simulated net charge fluctuation for directly produced pions and the pion matter with the thermal model prediction for pion gas and the resonance pion gas, respectively. The net charge fluctuation of hadron matter from default JPCIAE simulations is nearly 3.5 times larger than quark-gluon matter. A discussion is given for the net charge fluctuation as an evidence of QGP phase transition.  相似文献

5-Geranoxypsoralen, commonly called bergamottin, a major furocoumarin contained in bergamot oil, is reported in vitro as a highly photoreactive psoralen. In ethanol, it exhibits quite a high triplet state quantum yield (approximately 0.37). The triplet state is involved in subsequent photochemistry which depends on the initial concentration and on the presence of oxygen. In contrast to most psoralens, absorption and fluorescence data suggest that 5-geranoxypsoralen does not interact with DNA in the dark. No UVA-induced interstrand cross-links in DNA were shown.  相似文献

Direct observation of J-couplings remains a challenge in high-resolution solid-state NMR. In some cases, it is possible to use Lee-Goldburg (LG) homonuclear decoupling during rare spin observation in MAS NMR correlation spectroscopy of lipid membranes to obtain J-resolved spectra in the direct dimension. In one simple implementation, a wide line separation-type (13)C-(1)H HETCOR can provide high-resolution (1)H/(13)C spectra, which are J-resolved in both dimensions. Coupling constants, (1)J(HC), obtained from (1)H doublets, can be compared with scaled (1)J(θ)(CH)-values obtained from the (13)C multiplets to assess the LG efficiency and scaling factor. The use of homonuclear decoupling during proton evolution, LG-HETCOR-LG, can provide J-values, at least in the rare spin dimension, and allows measurements in less mobile membrane environments. The LG-decoupled spectroscopic approach is demonstrated on pure dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (DOPC) membranes and used to investigate lipid mixtures of DOPC/cholesterol and DOPC/cholesterol/sphingomyelin.  相似文献

The TDDFT method is first applied in a series of tetra-nuclear transition metal clusters studies for nonlinear optical properties. The results indicate that the charge transfer inside the metal core [MCu3X4] (M=W, Mo; X=S, O, Cl, Se, Br) makes contribution to the optical nonlinearity. It is possible to enhance the hyperpolarizability by substituting the ligands of the clusters.  相似文献

Using known coverages of preadsorbed carbon monoxide as a specific poison on supported polycrystalline Pd, the degree of benzene conversion into cyclohexane was measured and compared with the conversion over a CO-free catalyst surface. Palladium crystal faces adsorbing carbon monoxide in various manners are uniformly active for benzene hydrogenation, which appears to be a structure insensitive reaction.

A simple Monte Carlo simulation and even a partition method can be used to reproduce quite well the power law behavior between the factorial moment and the charge interval of fragment charge distributions from the multifragmentation of 197Au nucleus bombarding emulsion at~1 GeV/nucleon. This indicates that the above power law seems not to be a unique precursor of the intermittent behavior in nuclear multifragmentations.  相似文献

The charge dispersion of fragments in high energy p+Cu,Kr and Xe reactions are calculated by statistical model and Monte Carlo technique.The corresponding data are reproduced quite well.It is shown that the charge dispersions are all nearly gaussian.The mass dependence of the most probable fragment charge reflects the rest target memory effect.  相似文献
