Perturbed Parabolic Equation on a Riemannian Manifold

We construct a fundamental solution of an equation with perturbed diffusion operator on a manifold of nonnegative curvature.     

Synthesis and photochromic properties of indolinospirochromenes with electron-donor substituents in the indoline part of the molecule

1,3,3-Trimethylspiro(indoline-2,2'-[2H]chromenes) with CH₃ and CH₃O groups in the 4–7 positions and NO₂ and CH₃O groups in the 6 and 8 positions were obtained by the reaction of 4,6-, 4,7-, 5,6-, and 6,7-dimethoxy- and 4-methyl-7-methoxy-2-methyleneindolines and 1,3,3,4,5,6,7-heptamethyl-2-methyleneindoline with 3- and 5-nitrosalicylaldehydes and their derivatives. Most of the compounds have photochromic properties. The introduction of electron-donor groups into the indoline fragment of the spirochromene molecules changes the rate of the dark reaction within the limits of one order of magnitude and has a small effect on the position of the long-wave absorption band of the photomerocyanine.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 9, pp. 1220–1224, September, 1982.     

Acylation of benzimidazole by the regel-buechel method. 2. Deacylation and dissociation of 1-methyl-3-acyl-2-(1′-methyl-2′-benzimidazolyl)-4-benzimidazolines

With excess acyl halide 1-methyl-3-acyl-2-(1-methyl-2-benzimidazolyl)-4-benzimidazoline is converted to an unstable 1-methyl-3-acyl-2-(1-methyl-3-acyl-4-benzimidazolin-2-yl)benzimidazolium chloride, which undergoes intramolecular redox cleavage with the formation of 1,1-dimethyl-2,2-dibenzimidazolyl and an aldehyde and dissociates at the C-C bond that connects the benzimidazolium and benzimidazoline fragments into a carbene yield and a 1-methyl-3-acylbenzimidazolium chloride.See [1] for communication 1.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 3, pp. 339–342, March, 1987.     

Two particle rapidity correlations among produced particles in proton-nucleus interactions at high energies

Significant dynamical correlations increasing with incident beam momentum and short-ranged in nature are observed in proton-nucleus interactions.     

Mössbauer studies on Tb x Fe1−x alloy films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy

Amorphous ferrimagnetic Tb _x Fe_1?x films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and Tb _x Fe_1?x /NiFe exchange-coupled structures characterized by unidirectional anisotropy are obtained. The magnetic and chemical inhomogeneity of alloys of Tb _x Fe_1?x compensation composition is established on the basis of Mössbauer studies of these systems.     

Some inverse problems of internal-diffusion kinetics of adsorption

Methods are proposed for determining the diffusion coefficients of adsorbed molecules and the adsorption isotherms from given concentrations of the solutes in the external solution. The methods are based on a comparison of experimental data with the numerical results produced by a mathematical model of internal-diffusion kinetics of adsorption from a constant bounded volume.Translated from Vychislitel'naya i Prikladnaya Matematika, No. 66, pp. 41–46, 1988.     

Fundamental solutions of the thermoelastic equations for transversely isotropic plates

The problem of thermoelasticity for transversely isotropic plates acted upon by concentrated heat sources is solved. The {1, 2}-order equations of thermoelasticity that incorporate the transverse shear and normal stresses are used. A bending heat source with symmetric heat transfer is considered. The dependence of thermal stress components on the thermal and thermomechanical parameters of transversely isotropic plates is studied     

Synthesis and study of organic luminophors containing one or two pyrazoline rings

A series of new organic luminophors with blue and yellow-green fluorescence containing two 1,3,5-triaryl-2-pyrazoline groupings has been obtained and their optical characteristics have been studied. Doubling the molecule of 1,3,5-triphenyl-2-pyrazoline causes a considerable bathochromic effect in the absorption and luminescence and sharply increases the intensity of absorption. The introduction of various bridge groupings weakening or interrupting the chain of conjugation between the two pyrazoline rings leads to a displacement of the absorption and luminescence spectra in the shortwave direction and to a lowering of the relative light yield of photoluminesence.
