On the harmonic Bergman space of the half-space, we give characterizations for an arbitrary positive Toeplitz operator to be a Schatten (or Schatten-Herz) class operator in terms of averaging functions and Berezin transforms. The free flexural vibration of a hanged clamped-free cylindrical shell with various boundary conditions partially submerged in a fluid is investigated. Specifically, the effects of the boundary conditions such as the existence of the external wall, internal shaft, and bottom on the natural vibration characteristics of the partially submerged cylindrical shell are investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The fluid is assumed to be inviscid and irrotational. The cylindrical shell is modeled by using the Rayleigh–Ritz method based on the Sanders shell theory. The kinetic energy of the fluid is derived by solving a boundary-value problem related to the fluid motion. The theoretical predictions were in good agreement with the experimental results validating the theoretical approach developed in this study. The effects of the external wall, internal shaft, and bottom on the natural vibration characteristics can be neglected when its boundaries are not very close to the shell structure.  相似文献

We report the structural and functional stabilities of artificially synthesized DNA ultra-thin films. Fully covered DNA ultra-thin films on a silica substrate were fabricated by the silica-assisted growth method and those samples were then incubated in various chemicals and physical conditions. The DNA ultra-thin films showed high maintainability under those harsh conditions and these results would aid to facilitate the use of artificial DNA ultra-thin films in advanced research areas such as biophotonics and bioelectronics.  相似文献

A laboratory surface x‐ray absorption near edge structure ((S)XANES) spectrometer used for measurements in the soft x‐ray region is described. The x‐ray beam path of the spectrometer is enclosed in a vacuum chamber directly connected to the x‐ray generator output port. With this setup, the absorption of the x‐rays in the air is avoided. The developed spectrometer uses a monochromator equipped with cylindrically bent PET(002), KAP(001), and Ge(111) crystals of different Rowland radii working in the Johann focusing geometry. Nine stepping motors are used to control the positions of the monochromator, receiving slit, sample, and detectors. An x‐ray photon energy available in experiment ranges from about 1 keV to 5 keV. A registration of the photoelectrons emitted from the sample with the channeltron is used to carry out surface‐sensitive measurements. The performance of the developed spectrometer is illustrated by spectra measured at the absorption K‐edges of several elements from the Na‐Ti set. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The long-term stability of pentacene thin-film transistors (TFTs) encapsulated with a transparent SnO2 thin-film prepared by ion beam-assisted deposition (IBAD) was investigated. After encapsulation process, our organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) showed somewhat degraded field-effect mobility of 0.5 cm2/(V s) that was initially 0.62 cm2/(V s), when a buffer layer of thermally evaporated 100 nm SnO2 film had been deposited prior to IBAD process. However, the mobility was surprisingly sustained up to 1 month and then gradually degraded down to 0.35 cm2/(V s) which was still three times higher than that of the OTFT without any encapsulation layer after 100 days in air ambient. The encapsulated OTFTs also exhibited superior on/off current ratio of over 105 to that of the unprotected devices (∼104) which was reduced from ∼106 before aging. Therefore, the enhanced long-term stability of our encapsulated OTFTs should be attributed to well protection of permeation of H2O and O2 into the devices by the IBAD SnO2 thin-film which could be used as an effective inorganic gas barrier for transparent organic electronic devices.  相似文献

Efficient water electrolysis catalyst is highly demanded for the production of hydrogen as a sustainable energy fuel. It is reported that cobalt derived nanoparticle (CoS2, CoP, CoS|P) decorated reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composite aerogel catalysts for highly active and reliable hydrogen evolution reaction electrocatalysts. 7 nm level cobalt derived nanoparticles are synthesized over graphene aerogel surfaces with excellent surface coverage and maximal expose of active sites. CoS|P/rGO hybrid aerogel composites show an excellent catalytic activity with overpotential of ≈169 mV at a current density of ≈10 mA cm?2. Accordingly, efficient charge transfer is attained with Tafel slope of ≈52 mV dec?1 and a charge transfer resistance (Rct) of ≈12 Ω. This work suggests a viable route toward ultrasmall, uniform nanoparticles decorated graphene surfaces with well‐controlled chemical compositions, which can be generally useful for various applications commonly requiring large exposure of active surface area as well as robust interparticle charger transfer.  相似文献

The generalized logit model of nominal type with random regressors is studied for bootstrapping. We assess the accuracy of some estimators for our generalized logit model, using a Monte Carlo simulation. That is, we study the finite sample properties containing the consistency and asymptotic normality of the maximum likelihood estimators. In the past decade nanoimprint has been developed to a serious alternative for next generation lithography (NGL). In this work, the most recent developments of UV-nanoimprint Lithography (UV-NIL) with special emphasis to the work accomplished at AMO and the IHT-RWTH Aachen are reviewed and functional applications demonstrated.
