We theoretically investigate properties of the ground state of a closed dot-ring system with a magnetic flux in the Kondo regime by means of a tight-banding Anderson Hamiltonian, using the Slave-Boson mean-field approach. The persistent current shows interesting dependences on the parity and on the size of the system. The signature of Kondo resonance at ζk/L = 0.15 is expected to be observed experimentally in the future. With the intensity of the coupling tD changes from weak to strong, the properties of the system changes largely, which are different from the in-line one because of the attached dot. 相似文献

Attenuation of groups of high energy particles leptoproduced in nuclear matter is calculated in terms of parameters describing strongly interacting systems at the early stages of particle production: formation time of hadrons and cross-section for the intermediate state to interact inside the nucleus. A new soluble donor‐acceptor type poly(N‐vinylcarbazole)‐covalently functionalized graphene oxide (GO‐PVK) has been synthesized by reaction of DDAT (S‐1‐dodecyl‐S′‐(α,α′‐dimethyl‐α″‐aceticacid)trithiocarbonate)‐PVK with GO‐toluene‐2,4‐diisocynate. The incorporation of sufficient amount of PVK chains makes the modified GO nanosheets readily dispersible in organic solvents. The resulting material exhibits an enhanced solubility of 10 mg/mL in organic solvents. Covalent grafting of PVK onto the edge and surface of GO nanosheets did not change the carbazole absorption in the ultraviolet region, but substantially reduced the absorption intensity of GO in the visible region. The intensity of the emission band of GO‐PVK at 437 nm was a little bit quenched when compared with that of DDAT‐PVK, suggesting intramolecular quenching from PVK to GO. Such intramolecular quenching process may involve energy or electron transfer between the excited singlet states of the PVK moiety and the GO moiety. The HOMO/LUMO values and the energy bandgap of GO‐PVK experimentally estimated by the onset of the redox potentials are ?5.60, ?3.58, and 2.02 eV, respectively. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Mn4+-rich perovskite manganites (nominal composition: Pr0.1Ca0.9MnO3) were synthesized by using a citric acid method and sintered at different temperatures (800, 900, 1000, and 1300 °C) to adjust the concentration of charge carrier. All the samples are found to be in the cluster glass state at low temperature, as indicated by dc and ac magnetization. With the increase of sintering temperature, the ferromagnetic component in samples increases at first, and attains a maximum at 1000 °C, then decreases again at 1300 °C, which could be well interpreted by the change of charge carrier concentration induced by nonstoichiometry, consistent with the trend on the phase diagram. However, nonstoichiometry breaks long-range Mn-O-Mn interaction, resulting in the variance from the phase diagram. 相似文献
