Chemical composition of bovine milk from Minas Gerais State, Brazil

Aiming at international competitiveness of the Brazilian dairy sector, new governmental policies were released to improve quality and safety of bovine milk. In this context, it is important to quantify essential and toxic chemical elements. Here, the composition of milk samples taken at 32 dairy farms in Minas Gerais State was assessed by instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), besides the evaluation of usual quality parameters. Significant differences were found for Ba, K, Na and fat content amongst dairy farms with diverse quality levels established on basis of somatic cell and total bacterial count.

建立苦瓜中维生素C含量直接测定新方法。以10%盐酸溶液为溶剂,采用紫外分光光度法测定含量。维生素C在0—10μg/mL浓度范围内与吸光度呈良好的线性关系,回归方程为：y=0.04746C＋0.00109,r=0.9997。检出限为0.023μg/mL,加标回收率在94.8%—101.1%之间。该法操作简单,干扰离子少,结果准确,测量快速、准确度和灵敏度高,可应用于维生素C含量的测定。     

Some unexpected proportionalities between components of the spin—other-orbit interaction in the f shell

The reduced matrix elements of the component z _i of the inter-electronic spin-other-orbit interaction have been calculated for all the states of the atomic f shell. Three of the z _i , each of which belongs to the irreducible representation (30) of Racah's group G₂, are found to exhibit matrix elements that are often related to one another in ways that go beyond what the Wigner-Eckart theorem, generalized to G₂, would predict. Examples are presented for matrix elements whose bras belong to the IR (20) of G₂ and whose kets belong to (31). The challenges to current theory are discussed.     

A REALIZATION OF CERTAIN MODULES FOR THE <Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis> = 4 SUPERCONFORMAL ALGEBRA AND THE AFFINE LIE ALGEBRA <Emphasis Type="Italic">A</Emphasis><Stack><Subscript>2</Subscript><Superscript>(1)</Superscript></Stack>

We shall first present an explicit realization of the simple N = 4 superconformal vertex algebra L _c ^N?=?4 with central charge c = ?9. This vertex superalgebra is realized inside of the bcβγ system and contains a subalgebra isomorphic to the simple affine vertex algebra L _A1 \( \left(-\frac{3}{2}{\varLambda}_0\right) \). Then we construct a functor from the category of L _c ^N?=?4 -modules with c = ?9 to the category of modules for the admissible affine vertex algebra L _A1 \( \left(-\frac{3}{2}{\varLambda}_0\right) \). By using this construction we construct a family of weight and logarithmic modules for L _c ^N?=?4 and L _A1 \( \left(-\frac{3}{2}{\varLambda}_0\right) \). We also show that a coset subalgebra L _A1 \( \left(-\frac{3}{2}{\varLambda}_0\right) \) is a logarithmic extension of the W(2; 3)-algebra with c = ?10. We discuss some generalizations of our construction based on the extension of affine vertex algebra L _A1 (kΛ ₀) such that k + 2 = 1/p and p is a positive integer.
