A methodology for the preparation of self-standing 100–200 nm thick mesoporous silica membrane interconnects is reported. Interconnects may become an important component in future microfluidic device technology since it allows extension of microfluidic architectures into the third dimension. The silica film was mechanically supported by a perforated silicon nitride microsieve and covered a hexagonal array of 500 nm-sized holes. The potential applicability of these films as gateable interconnects for controlled dosing of ions was demonstrated. The permeability of ionic species can be controlled by the ionic strength. 相似文献

C60 and C70 fullerenes polymerized under pressures between 9.5 and 13 GPa and temperatures between 670 and 1850 K were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in the range 240-640 K. Endothermal heat effects were observed with a peak maximum just below 540 K, a temperature characteristic for breakdown of (2+2) intermolecular links in dimers, 1D and 2D polymers. Exothermal effects, starting from 380 K, were observed for the first time in polymeric fullerenes. A simple and cost-effective methodology for large-area micrometer-scale patterning of a wide range of metallic and oxidic functional materials is presented. Self-assembled monolayers (SAM) of alkyl thiols on Au were micropatterned by channel-diffused oxygen plasma etching, a method in which selected areas of SAM were protected from plasma oxidation via a soft lithographic stamp. The patterned SAMs were used as templates for site-selective electrodeposition, electroless deposition and solution-phase deposition of functional materials such as ZnO, Ni, Ag thin films, and ZnO nanowires.
