Films of La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 (LSCO) have been deposited on specially treated TiO2-terminated (001) SrTiO3 substrate surfaces and on macroporous polycrystalline !-Al2O3 substrates, having a mean pore diameter of 80 nm, by pulsed laser deposition. The films deposited on SrTiO3 are good conducting, (001) textured, and exceptionally smooth (1-2 Å for 100 nm thick films). LSCO films deposited on porous !-Al2O3 are polycrystalline and exhibit good crystallographic and electrical properties despite the large substrate roughness and the differences in lattice parameters and crystal structure between the film and the substrate. Different growth modes have been observed on the porous !-Al2O3 substrates depending on the oxygen pressure during film deposition. Films grown at an oxygen pressure of 10-1 mbar are macroporous, whereas films grown at 10-2 mbar completely cover the substrate pores. In the latter case, strain effects lead to film cracking.  相似文献

In a series of measurements performed at the IGISOL facility at the Accelerator Laboratory of the University of Jyväskylä, the half-lives of 26Si, 29P, 30,31S, 42Ti and 62Ga were measured with high precision. These half-lives are important ingredients for tests of the weak-interaction standard model and allow, together with other experimental inputs and theoretical correction terms, the determination of the vector coupling constant of the weak interaction. The IGISOL method used in Jyväkylä is an ideal tool for these measurements as it allows to access all elements without distinction of their chemical properties.  相似文献

The MH+ ions of matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) spectra for a series of closely related but otherwise indistinguishable proteins were analyzed for singularity using a distribution free statistic, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov non-parametric statistic, K-S. The approach allows spectra which might otherwise be taken as identical, to be distinguished. Such analysis of the spectra may lead to a greater understanding of the chemistry of the proteins under investigation. The analysis requires only standard instrumentation. A standard data analysis protocol was developed and applied to generate a normalized cumulative distribution function (NCDF) for each spectrum. Differences in the NCDF for two different spectra were calculated and the maximum difference, deltamax compared to critical values of K-S. Values of deltamax exceeding the critical value of K-S are taken as the basis for rejecting the statistical null-hypothesis and assigning statistical significance to the differences in the two spectra. We have shown that this approach allows spectra of 1:1 mixtures of closely related recombinant proteins to be distinguished from either protein alone, and that mixtures of a 45 kDa protein and a labeled version of that protein can be distinguished from the pure material and from one another at the level of about 25%. In addition, we are able to use this approach to characterize the extent to which a synthetic glyococonjugation reaction has proceeded under circumstances of differing reaction times.  相似文献

A definition and mathematical treatment to calculate the filling factor in a pulsed electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) experiment are presented. The differences between filling factors in traditional, continuous wave (CW)-EPR experiments (eta), and in pulsed-EPR experiments (eta(p)), are discussed.
