By numerically simulating the Bray-Liebhafsky (BL) reaction (the hydrogen peroxide decomposition in the presence of hydrogen and iodate ions) in a continuously fed well stirred tank reactor (CSTR), we find "structured" types of chaos emerging in regular order with respect to flow rate as the control parameter. These chaotic "structures" appear between each two successive periodic states, and have forms and evolution resembling to the neighboring periodic dynamics. More precisely, in the transition from period-doubling route to chaos to the arising periodic mixture of different mixed-mode oscillations, we are able to recognize and qualitatively and quantitatively distinguish the sequence of "period-doubling" chaos and chaos consisted of mixed-mode oscillations (the "mixed-mode structured" chaos), both appearing in regular order between succeeding periodic states. Additionally, between these types of chaos, the chaos without such recognizable "structures" ("unstructured" chaos) is also distinguished. Furthermore, all transitions between two successive periodic states are realized through bifurcation of chaotic states. This scenario is a universal feature throughout the whole mixed-mode region, as well as throughout other mixed-mode regions obtained under different initial conditions. 相似文献

Synthetic bacteriochlorins are of interest for fundamental studies in photochemistry because of their strong absorption in the near-infrared spectral region and close similarity with natural bacteriochlorophylls. A de novo route to 5-methoxybacteriochlorins entails self-condensation of a dihydrodipyrrin-acetal, which in turn is prepared from a 2-(2-nitroethyl)pyrrole species and an α,β-unsaturated ketone-acetal (e.g., 1,1-dimethoxy-4-methylpent-3-en-2-one). Here, four new results are reported concerning the synthesis of substituted bacteriochlorins. First, a new, scalable route to 1,1-dimethoxy-4-methylpent-3-en-2-one removes a significant previous impediment to the overall route. Second, the new route was employed to gain access to new α,β-unsaturated ketones and corresponding dihydrodipyrrins bearing alternative substituents in place of the dimethoxy unit. Third, a dihydrodipyrrin bearing a 1,3-dioxolan-2-yl moiety afforded the bacteriochlorin (30% yield) containing a 2-hydroxyethoxy substituent at the 5-position. Fourth, subsequent bromination proceeded regioselectively at the 15-position to give a trans-(5,15)-AB-bacteriochlorin building block. The linear 5,15-substitution pattern is attractive for a number of molecular designs. The results taken together afford deeper understanding of the scope and limitations of the de novo route and also advance the capabilities for tailoring synthetic bacteriochlorins. 相似文献

The presented study deals with the off-line coupling of preparative isotachophoresis (pITP) with on-line combination of capillary zone electrophoresis with electrospray mass spectrometric detection (CZE-ESI-MS) used for the analysis of therapeutic peptides (anserine, carnosine, and buserelin) in complex matrix (urine). Preparative capillary isotachophoresis, operating in a discontinuous fractionation mode in column-coupling configuration, served as a sample pretreatment technique to separation, and fractionation of mixture of therapeutic peptides present in urine at low concentration level. The fractions isolated by pITP procedure were subsequently analyzed by capillary zone electrophoresis with electrospray mass spectrometric detection. Acetic acid at 200 mmol L(-1) concentration served as background electrolyte in CZE stage and it is compatible with MS detection in positive ionization mode. In pITP fractionation procedure, sodium cation (10 mmol L(-1) concentration) as leading ion and beta-alanine as terminating ion (20 mmol L(-1) concentration) were used. While using CZE-ESI-MS, the limits of detection were 0.18 μg mL(-1) for carnosine, 0.17 μg mL(-1) for anserine and 0.64 μg mL(-1) for buserelin in water and 0.19 μg mL(-1) for carnosine, 0.50 μg mL(-1) for anserine and 0.74 μg mL(-1) for buserelin in 10 times diluted urine, respectively. The cleaning power of pITP sample pretreatment was proved as the peptides provided the higher MS signals at lower concentration levels resulting from the minimized matrix effects. The quality of obtained MS/MS spectra was very good so that they can provide information about the structure of analytes, and they were used for verification of the analytes identities. The pITP pretreatment improved the detection limits of the analyzed therapeutic peptides at least 25 times compared to the CZE-ESI-MS itself. 相似文献

Solvent-driven aggregation of a series of porphyrin derivatives was studied by UV/Vis and circular dichroism spectroscopy. The porphyrins are characterised by the presence in the meso positions of steroidal moieties further conjugated with glucosyl groups. The presence of these groups makes the investigated macrocycles amphiphilic and soluble in aqueous solvent, namely, dimethyl acetamide/water. Aggregation of the macrocycles is triggered by a change in bulk solvent composition leading to formation of large architectures that express supramolecular chirality, steered by the presence of the stereogenic centres on the periphery of the macrocycles. The aggregation behaviour and chiroptical features of the aggregates are strongly dependent on the number of moieties decorating the periphery of the porphyrin framework. In particular, experimental evidence indicates that the structure of the steroid linker dictates the overall chirality of the supramolecular architectures. Moreover, the porphyrin concentration strongly affects the aggregation mechanism and the CD intensities of the spectra. Notably, AFM investigations reveal strong differences in aggregate morphology that are dependent on the nature of the appended functional groups, and closely in line with the changes in aggregation mechanism. The suprastructures formed at lower concentration show a network of long fibrous structures spanning over tens of micrometres, whereas the aggregates formed at higher concentration have smaller rod-shaped structures that can be recognised as the result of coalescence of smaller globular structures. The fully steroid substituted derivative forms globular structures over the whole concentration range explored. Finally, a rationale for the aggregation phenomena was given by semiempirical calculations at the PM6 level. 相似文献

Conjugates consisting of stigmasterol and L-phenylalanine, interconnected through short-chained dicarboxylic acyls by ester and amide bonds, respectively, were synthesized as potential low molecular weight/mass organic gelators (LMWGs/LMMGs). Their physico-chemical properties were subjected to investigation, especially their ability to form gels reversibly based on changes of the environmental conditions. Other self-assembly properties detectable by UV-VIS traces were measured in systems consisting of two miscible solvents (water/acetonitrile) with varying solvent ratios and using constant concentrations of the studied compounds. Partition and diffusion coefficients and solubility in water were calculated for the target conjugates. The conjugate 3a was the only compound from this series capable of forming a gel in 1-octanol. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of chernozem soil humic acids (HAs) followed by observation under UV (312 nm) excitation light reveals new low molecular weight (MW) fluorescent fractions. Ultrafiltration of HAs sample in 7 M urea on a membrane of low nominal MW retention (NMWR, 5 kDa) was repetitively used for separation of fluorescent and non-fluorescent species. Thirty ultrafiltrates and the final retentate R were obtained. Fluorescence maxima of separate ultrafiltrates were different and non-monotonously changed in the range of 475–505 nm. Fluorescence maxima of less than 490 nm were detected only in the four first utrafiltrates. For further physical–chemical analyses all utrafiltrates were combined into a fraction called UF < 5 (NMW < 5 kDa). Retentate R demonstrated very weak fluorescence under 270 nm excitation, while fluorescence intensity of UF < 5 was about six times higher than of the bulk HAs. Fraction UF < 5 was further ultrafiltrated on membranes of MNWR 3 kDa and 1 kDa, yielding three subfractions UF3-5, UF1-3 and UF < 1 with NMW 3–5 kDa, 1–3 kDa and <1 kDa, respectively. The validation of the UF procedure was performed by size exclusion chromatography on Sephadex G-25 column. The fluorescence maxima were found to be at 505, 488 and 465 nm for UF3-5, UF1-3 and UF < 1, respectively, with increasing of fluorescence intensity from UF3-5 to UF1-3 to UF < 1 fraction. EPR analysis showed that the amount of free radicals was the largest in retentate R and drastically decreased in fluorescent ultrafiltrates. DTA was used to study thermal properties and thermal stability of (50-x)Li2O-xTiO2-50P2O5 (x=0–10 mol%) and 45Li2Ot-yTiO2-(55-y)P2O5 (y=5–20 mol%) glasses. The addition of TiO2 to lithium phosphate glasses results in a non-linear increase of glass transition temperature. All prepared glasses crystallize
under heating within the temperature range of 400–540°C. The lowest tendency towards crystallization have the glasses with
x=7.5 and y=10 mol% TiO2. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that major compounds formed by annealing of the glasses were LiPO3, Li4 P2O7, TiP2O7 and NASICON-type LiTi2(PO4)3. DTA results also indicated that the maximum of nucleation rate for 45Li2O-5TiO2-50P2O5 glass is close to the glass transition temperature. 相似文献

The peculiarities of analytical measurement require to check characteristics of the error (its components) of the obtained
analysis results to assure the quality of the measurements. This article deals with the various quality assurance procedures
and algorithms which are used to check the quality indices, i.e. the accuracy, reproducibility, certainty and repeatability
of analytical measurements: These procedures include: laboratory rapid control; Intra-laboratory statistical control (statistical
selection control by alternative attribute, statistical selection control by quantity method of periodic check of the analysis
procedure for conformity to the specified requirements) and external control (inter-laboratory control checks, inter-laboratory
comparison tests, and intra-laboratory control algorithms carried out by the appropriate supervisory body.) in the separately
taken laboratory. The respective algorithms, control plans and control requirements, specified according to the different
control aims and assurance tasks, enable the quality and certianty of analytical information obtained in laboratories in Russia
to be assured.

The separation of six-component blends of chemically similar homopolymers utilising the full adsorption-desorption (FAD)
process is presented. The main advantage of the FAD approach over other methods represents the successive and independent
size- exclusion chromatography (SEC) characterisation of all blend components. The method is based on the full adsorption
and retention of all n or n−1 components of the polymer blend from an adsorption promoting liquid (ADSORLI) in a small FAD column. Nonadsorbed macromolecules
are forwarded directly into SEC for molecular characterisation. Next, appropriate displacers are successively applied to the
FAD column to selectively release preadsorbed blend constituents into the on-line SEC column. Dynamic integral desorption
isotherms for single constituents, as well as for polymer blends to be analysed, allow identification of optimal displacer
compositions to release just one kind of macromolecule. Model polymer blends containing polystyrene (PS), poly(lauryl methacrylate),
poly(butyl methacrylate), poly(ethyl methacrylate), poly(methyl methacrylate) and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) or, alternatively,
PS, poly(2-ethylhexyl acrylate), poly(butyl acrylate), poly(ethyl acrylate), poly(methyl acrylate) and PEO of similar molar
masses can be separated and characterised in one multistep run using nonporous silica FAD packing, toluene as an ADSORLI and
its mixtures with a desorption promoting liquid such as ethyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran or dimetylformamide to form displacers
with appropriate desorption strength.

In order to gain biosorbent that would have the ability to bind cesium ions from water solution effectively, potassium nickel
hexacyanoferrate(II) (KNiFC) was incorporated into the mushroom biomass of Agaricus bisporus. Cesium sorption by KNIFC-modified A. bisporus biosorbent was observed in batch system, using radiotracer technique using 137Cs radioisotope. Kinetic study showed that the cesium sorption was quite rapid and sorption equilibrium was attained within
1 h. Sorption kinetics of cesium was well described by pseudo-second order kinetics. Sorption equilibrium was the best described
by Freundlich isotherm and the distribution coefficient was at interval 7,662–159 cm3 g−1. Cesium sorption depended on initial pH of solution. Cesium sorption was very low at pH0 1.0–3.0. At initial pH 11.0, maximum sorption of cesium was found. Negative effect of monovalent (K+, Na+, NH4
+) and divalent (Ca2+, Mg2+) cations on cesium sorption was observed. Desorption experiments showed that 0.1 M potassium chloride is the most suitable
desorption agent but the complete desorption of cesium ions from KNiFC-modifed biosorbent was not achieved. 相似文献
