Optical absorption, fluorescence and photoacoustic spectra of Dy3+ doped in oxyfluoroborate glass has been studied. Lifetime of 4F(9/2) level has been measured for different concentration of Dy3+. Effect of concentration quenching on the lifetime and the fluorescence yield has been observed and the mechanism of energy transfer discussed. The energy transfer from Pr3+ to Dy3+ has been observed and explained in a codoped glass containing Pr3+ + Dy3+. 相似文献

An efficient and regioselective method was developed for the synthesis of β-(nitrooxy)-substituted amine derivatives by ring-opening of different aziridines with Zn(NO3)2·6H2O without using additives or catalyst. A library of β-(nitrooxy)-substituted amine derivatives having a variety of substituents has been synthesized. Excellent regioselectivity, high yields, clean reaction, ease of product isolation, easily accessible reactants, and solvent-free as well as environment friendly reaction conditions are the notable advantages of the present methodology. The nitrooxy derivative was successfully transformed into hydroxy derivative by simple reduction. Gram-scale synthesis demonstrates the potential applications of the present method. 相似文献

A new rhodamine-based receptor, derivatized with an additional fluorophore (quinoline), was synthesized for selective recognition of Hg(2+) and Cr(3+) in an acetonitrile/HEPES buffer medium of pH 7.3. This reagent could be used as a dual probe and allowed detection of these two ions by monitoring changes in absorption and the fluorescence spectral pattern. In both instances, the extent of the changes was significant enough to allow visual detection. More importantly, the receptor molecule could be used as an imaging reagent for detection of Hg(2+) and Cr(3+) uptake in live human cancer cells (MCF7) using laser confocal microscopic studies. Unlike Hg(ClO(4))(2) or Hg(NO(3))(2) salts, HgCl(2) or HgI(2) failed to induce any visually detectable change in color or fluorescence upon interaction with L(1) under identical experimental conditions. Presumably, the higher covalent nature of Hg(II) in HgCl(2) or HgI(2) accounts for its lower acidity and its inability to open up the spirolactam ring of the reagent L(1). The issue has been addressed on the basis of the single-crystal X-ray structures of L(1)·HgX(2) (X(-) = Cl(-) or I(-)) and results from other spectral studies. 相似文献

The antimicrobial potentiality of the methanolic extract of Phyllanthus amarus (Family: Euphorbiaceae) was studied against some drug resistant pathogenic bacterial strains by disc diffusion and agar dilution method. The extract showed significant concentration-dependent antibacterial activity particularly against gram-negative microbes. The study illustrated the claim of the usefulness of the plant in dysenteric and diarrheal infections and also suggested its use in fever. The antibacterial action was mainly due to the isolated phyllanthin. 相似文献

The present study was undertaken to evaluate a He-Ne laser (632.8 nm; 7 mW; 4.02 mW cm(-2); 15 mm spot size) dose and the treatment schedule on diabetic wound healing in a mouse model. Circular wounds of 15 mm diameter were created on streptozotocin induced diabetic Swiss albino mice, and were uniformly illuminated with the single exposure of various He-Ne laser doses of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 J cm(-2) respectively. Further, the treatment schedule was also optimized by exposing the wounds with 3 J cm(-2) at 0, 24 h, 48 h postwounding. Contraction kinetics, mean area under the curve and the mean healing time of the wounds were computed along with the collagen and the glucosamine levels in the wound ground tissues at various postwounding treatment schedules. Results of this study indicated that the single exposure of 3 J cm(-2) laser dose applied immediately after the wounding caused a significant reduction in the mean area under the curve and the mean healing time along with the elevated levels of collagen and glucosamine contents in the tissue compared to the controls. In conclusion, He-Ne laser dose of 3 J cm(-2) applied immediately after the wounding has demonstrated optimum wound healing compared to the other doses and treatment schedules. 相似文献

This work describes a mild and robust double hydroarylation strategy for the synthesis of symmetrical /unsymmetrical diaryl- and triarylmethanes in excellent yields using Lambert salt (0.2–1.0 mol%). Despite the anticipated challenges associated with controlling selective product formation, unsymmetrical diaryl- and triarylmethanes products are obtained unprecedentedly. A highly efficient gram scale reaction has also been reported (TON for symmetrical product=475 and for unsymmetrical product=390). The synthetic utility of the methodology is demonstrated by the preparation of several unexplored diaryl- and triarylmethane-based biologically relevant molecules, such as arundine, vibrindole A, turbomycin B, and certain anti-inflammatory agents. A total synthesis of an anti-breast-cancer agent is also demonstrated. Control experiments, Hammett analysis, HRMS and GC-MS studies reveal the reaction intermediates and reaction mechanism. 相似文献

This paper deals with two different optimization techniques to solve the bound-constrained nonlinear optimization problems based on division criteria of a prescribed search region, finite interval arithmetic and interval ranking in the context of a decision maker’s point of view. In the proposed techniques, two different division criteria are introduced where the accepted region is divided into several distinct subregions and in each subregion, the objective function is computed in the form of an interval using interval arithmetic and the subregion containing the best objective value is found by interval ranking. The process is continued until the interval width for each variable in the accepted subregion is negligible. In this way, the global optimal or close to global optimal values of decision variables and the objective function can easily be obtained in the form of an interval with negligible widths. Both the techniques are applied on several benchmark functions and are compared with the existing analytical and heuristic methods. 相似文献
