We synthesized the first N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) complexes of Schrock’s molybdenum imido alkylidene bis(triflate) complexes. Unlike existing bis(triflate) complexes, the novel 16‐electron complexes represent metathesis active, functional‐group‐tolerant catalysts. Single‐crystal X‐ray structures of two representatives of this novel class of Schrock catalysts are presented and reactivity is discussed in view of their structural peculiarities. In the presence of monomer (substrate), these catalysts form cationic species and can be employed in ring‐closing metathesis (RCM), ring‐opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP), as well as in the cyclopolymerization of α,ω‐diynes. Monomers containing functional groups, which are not tolerated by the existing variations of Schrock’s catalyst, e.g., sec‐amine, hydroxy, and carboxylic acid moieties, can be used. These catalysts therefore hold great promise in both organic and polymer chemistry, where they allow for the use of protic monomers.  相似文献

The MgBr2‐catalyzed formal [3+2] cycloaddition of donor–acceptor activated cyclopropanes with nitrosoarenes offers a novel approach to various structurally diverse isoxazolidines. The reactions, which are experimentally easy to conduct, occur with complete stereospecificity and perfect control of regioselectivity. Product isoxazolidines can be readily transformed into α‐amino lactones by reductive or decarboxylative N? O cleavage and subsequent lactonisation, and the N‐aryl bond cleavage is also possible under oxidative conditions.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterisation of the hexanuclear copper(II) carboxylate complex [Cu(O2CCHPhOC2H4OC2H4OCH3)2]6 ( 1 ) is described. Single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis reveals that the copper(II) ions are arranged in a six‐membered ring which adopts a chair‐like conformation. The copper(II) ions are bridged by μ2‐ and μ3‐coordinating carboxylates. The magnetic behavior of 1 was measured between 2 and 300 K, revealing at low temperature a weak antiferromagnetic interaction. The χM(T) dependency was fitted mathematically with one coupling constant J1 and a paramagnetic impurity α.  相似文献

Two enantioselective total syntheses of the nortriterpenoid natural product rubriflordilactone A are described, which use palladium‐ or cobalt‐catalyzed cyclizations to form the CDE rings, and converge on a late‐stage synthetic intermediate. These key processes are set up through the convergent coupling of a common diyne component with appropriate AB‐ring aldehydes, a strategy that sets the stage for the synthetic exploration of other members of this family of natural products.  相似文献

A novel bifunctional monomer, namely maleimide glycidyl ether (MalGE), prepared in a four‐step reaction sequence is introduced. This monomer allows for selective (co)polymerization of the epoxide group via cationic ring‐opening polymerization, preserving the maleimide functionality. On the other hand, the maleimide functionality can be copolymerized via radical techniques, preserving the epoxide moiety. Cationic ring‐opening multibranching copolymerization of MalGE with glycidol was performed, and a MalGE content of up to 24 mol% could be incorporated into the hyperbranched polymer backbone (Mn = 1000–3000 g mol−1). Preservation of the maleimide functionality during cationic copolymerization was verified via NMR spectroscopy. Subsequently, the maleimide moiety was radically crosslinked to generate hydrogels and additionally employed to perform Diels‐Alder (DA) “click” reactions with (functional) dienes after the polymerization process. Radical copolymerization of MalGE with styrene (Mn = 5000–9000 g mol−1) enabled the synthesis of a styrene copolymer with epoxide functionalities that are useful for versatile crosslinking and grafting reactions.

FRET spectroscopy is a promising approach for investigating the dynamics of G‐quadruplex DNA folds and improving the targeting of G‐quadruplexes by potential anticancer compounds. To better interpret such experiments, classical and replica‐exchange molecular dynamics simulations and fluorescence‐lifetime measurements are used to understand the behavior of a range of Cy3‐based dyes attached to the 3′ end of G‐quadruplex DNA. The simulations revealed that the dyes interact extensively with the G‐quadruplex. Identification of preferred dye positions relative to the G‐quadruplex in the simulations allows the impact of dye–DNA interactions on FRET results to be determined. All the dyes show significant deviations from the common approximation of being freely rotating and not interacting with the host, but one of the Cy3 dye analogues is slightly closer to this case.  相似文献

Chemistry that uses metalloid tin clusters as a starting material is of fundamental interest towards understanding the reactivity of such compounds. Since we identified {Sn10[Si(SiMe3)3]4}2? 7 as an ideal candidate for such reactions, we present a further step in the understanding of metalloid tin cluster chemistry. In contrast to germanium chemistry, ligand elimination seems to be a major reaction channel, which leads to the more open metalloid cluster {Sn10[Si(SiMe3)3]3}? 9 , in which the Sn core is only shielded by three Si(SiMe3)3 ligands. Compound 9 is obtained through different routes and is crystallised together with two different countercations. Besides the structural characterisation of this novel metalloid tin cluster, the electronic structure is analysed by 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopy. Additionally, possible reaction pathways are discussed. The presented first step into the chemistry of metalloid tin clusters thus indicates that, with respect to metalloid germanium clusters, more reaction channels are accessible, thereby leading to a more complex reaction system.  相似文献

Based on the crystal structure of a natural protein substrate for microbial transglutaminase, an enzyme that catalyzes protein crosslinking, a recognition motif for site‐specific conjugation was rationally designed. Conformationally locked by an intramolecular disulfide bond, this structural mimic of a native conjugation site ensured efficient conjugation of a reporter cargo to the therapeutic monoclonal antibody cetuximab without erosion of its binding properties.  相似文献

A series of mono- and dicarbene gold(I) complexes of types Au(CAAC)(Cl) [CAAC = cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene] (1) and [Au(CAAC)2]+[X]? (X = Cl, AuCl2) (2) have been prepared through reaction of AuCl(SMe2) with free carbenes ae, and structurally characterized by single X-ray diffraction studies (1a, 1b, 2d, 2e).
