We present a wavelength-tunable narrow-band fiber-coupled source to generate correlated photon pairs at 539 nm and 1550nm. Using a lO-mm PPLN crystal, we obtain more than 50ram tunable range near 1550nm. This source, given its spectral property and tunable property, is well suited for tasks in fiber-optic quantum communication and cryptography networks. 相似文献

The formulae of photon angular distribution and polarization degree for radiative recombination are presented to include the contribution of multipoles and their correlations. A fully relativistic code is then developed to calculate the photon angular distribution and polarization. The calculated polarization degree and differential cross-sections agree well with that of Scofild's results within 10%. The effects of multipoles on polarization and angular distribution are investigated. The polarization and the angular distribution become asymmetric when the multipoles are accounted as the electron energy increases. 相似文献

Conformations of two dodecameric porphyrin wheels adsorbed on a Cu(1 0 0) were probed by using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Whereas a wheel consisting of six meso-meso linked diporphyrins was detected as uniform ring structure, several different images with three discrete molecular heights were detected for a wheel consisting of six meso-meso, β-β,β-β triply-linked planar diporphyrins. These results indicate that the former has a conformation similar to that in a free space, while the latter has various conformations with respect to orientation of planar diporphyrin units toward the metal surface. Several discrete STM images of the latter have been interpreted in terms of possible eight conformations, which vary as to relative orientation of neighboring diporphyrin units. 相似文献

Ti-doped hydrogenated diamond-like carbon (DLC) films were deposited on Si(1 0 0) substrates by a filtered cathodic vacuum arc (FCVA) method using Ar and CH4 as the feedstock. The composition and microstructure of the films were investigated by Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and IR spectroscopy. The internal stress was determined by the radius of curvature technique. The influence of the bias voltage on the microstructure of the as-deposited films was investigated. It was found that the graphite-like bonds was dominated in the Ti-doped DLC film deposited at 0 V bias voltage. When bias voltage was increased to −150 V, more diamond-like bond were produced and the sp3 content in film reached the maximum value, after which it decreased and more graphite-like bonds feature produced with further increase of the negative bias voltage. The compressive internal in the Ti-doped DLC films also exhibited a maximum value at −150 V bias voltage. IR results indicated that CH bonded intensity reduced, and H atoms bonded with C atoms were substituted for the Ti atoms as the negative bias voltage increasing. All the composition and microstructure change can be explained by considering the plasma conditions and the effect of negative bias voltage applied to the substrate. 相似文献

We show that by placing a metal plate next to a two-dimensional phononic crystal, acoustic waves can tunnel through the combined structure at a specific frequency that lies inside the band gap of the phononic crystal. The enhanced transmission is attributed to the coupling of the input waves with the acoustically resonant states created between the metal plate and the phononic crystal. A new method to tune the peak loss of mechanically formed long-period fiber gratings (MLPFGs) is proposed. Periodic arrayed metal wires are used to obtain the gratings along a single mode fiber (SMF). Self-maintaining gratings are achieved by the bonding force of an UV-adhesive between two glass plates. The initial index modulation formed at room temperature creates a maximum attenuation of −9 dB and −12 dB for coated and uncoated SMF, respectively. By changing the temperature, the peak loss is tuned due to the large thermal expansion of the UV-adhesive. Thermally tunable characteristics caused by the coating layer of the SMF are also described and compared with the results of the device with an uncoated SMF. 相似文献

Several theories have been developed to explain tropical biennial
oscillation (TBO), as an air--sea interactive system to impact Asian
and global weather and climate,
and some models have been established to produce a TBO. A
simple 5-box model, with almost all the key processes associated with
TBO, can produce a TBO by including air--sea interactions in the
monsoon regions. Despite that, the South China Sea/western North
Pacific summer monsoon (SCS/WNPSM), a very important monsoon
subsystem, is neglected. In this paper, based on the dynamical
framework of 5-box model, the term of SCS/WNPSM has been added and a
6-box model has been developed. Comparing the difference of TBO
sensibilities with several key parameters, air--sea coupling
coefficient α, SST-thermocline feedback coefficient
γ and wind-evaporation feedback coefficient λ,
between the modified model and original model, TBO is more sensible
to the parameters in the new model. The results imply that the
eastern Pacific and local wind-evaporation play more important roles
in the TBO when including SCS/WNPSM. 相似文献
