Interval parameter perturbation method for evaluating the bounds on natural frequencies of structures with interval parameters

For structural parameters with uncertainties, interval mathematics can, in the case where the probabilistic distribution density of uncertain variables is unavailable, deal with the influence of uncertainties in structural parameters on the response of structures. In order to evaluate the region containing natural frequencies of structures with interval parameters, the interval parameter perturbation method is presented in this paper. The advantage of the present method is its computational efficiency in evaluating the region containing natural frequencies. A numerical example is used to illustrate the efficiency of the method proposed. Exponential convergence for one dimensional contact processes

The complete convergence theorem implies that starting from any initial distribution the one dimensional contact process converges to a limit ast. THE QUANTUM EFFICIENCY FOR THE INTERPHOTOCONVERSION OF THE BLUE and PINK FORMS OF PURPLE MEMBRANE

When the cations bound to purple membrane are removed it turns blue, and when this blue membrane is irradiated its color changes to pink. Irradiation of pink membrane leads to the reformation of blue membrane. We have determined that the quantum efficiency for the formation of pink membrane from deionized blue membrane is 1.6 ± 0.6 ± 10 ⁴ at 0^oC, pH 5.0. We also found that the quantum efficiency for the back photoconversion, i.e. the formation of blue membrane from pink membrane, is 8.8 ± 1.6 ± 10^-3 at 0^oC, 55 times greater than that of the forward photoconversion reaction. The extinction coefficients of the pink membrane and blue membrane were determined to be 44 500 ± 670 cm^-1 M^-1 at 491 nm and 54 760 ± 830 cm^-1 M ^-1 at 603 nm, respectively, assuming light-adapted purple membrane is 63 000 cm^-1 M ^-1 at 568 nm. The quantum efficiency for forming pink membrane from blue membrane is much lower than that for forming the photointermediate of the blue membrane's photocycle. Their relationship is similar to that of light-adaptation and photocycle of the dark-adapted purple membrane.     

男性型秃发患者发中K,Na,Ca,Mg元素含量分析

采用火焰原子吸收法对３０例男性型秃发患者及３８例毛发健康男性对照者发中宏量元素Ｋ、Ｎａ、Ｃａ、Ｍｇ的含量进行了测定。结果表明，男性型秃发患者发Ｋ含量明显高于对照组，具有统计学上的显著差异（Ｐ〈０．０１）。发Ｎａ、Ｃａ、Ｍｇ含量在两组间未见显著差异（Ｐ〉０．０５）。本文提示，体内某些宏量元素变化对男性型秃发可能产生一定影响。     

Determination of inosine 5′-monophosphate and guanosine 5′-monophosphate in pig feed by capillary zone electrophoresis

A capillary zone clectrophoresis method was developed for the determination of IMP and GIMP, commonly used as flavor enhancers in poultry feed, in a real sample of complex composition. A baseline separation of inosine 5′-monophosphate and guanosine 5′-monophosphate was achieved within 10 min and the other components in the sample did not interfere with the separation. Quantitative results obtained from pig feed samples are presented. The separation conditions and experimental reproducibility are also discussed.     

Determination of catechol derivatives on pretreatment and copolymer coated glassy carbon electrode

A glassy carbon electrode was pretreated electrochemically and was coated with a copolymer of maleic acid anhydride attached with Eastman-AQ55D (MA/AQ). The voltammetric behavior of a series of biologically important compounds, such as dopamine, L-DOPA, DOPAC, ascorbic acid and uric acid were examined at both pretreated and coated electrodes. Electrochemical pretreatment increased peak current of dopamine and L-DOPA while decreased that of ascorbic acid, uric acid and DOPAC. The copolymer coating caused a decrease of peak currents, but effectively hindered the anionic species (ascorbic acid, uric acid and DOPAC) access to the electrode surface. In flow injection and liquid chromatographic analysis. The dopamine and L-DOPA yielded the better selectivity response at MA/AQ electrode than at bare and AQ electrodes.
