Solubilization and conductivity studies are carried out with AOT/Brijs (Brij-30, Brij-35, Brij-52, Brij-56, Brij-58, Brij-72, Brij-76, Brij-78)/isooctane/water mixed reverse micellar systems. Replacement of AOT molecules with large head group Brij molecules (Brij-30, Brij-35, Brij-56, Brij-58, Brij-76, Brij-78) decreases the solubilization capacity, whereas those with smaller polar head groups (Brij-52 and Brij-72) increases it. The former blends assist the conductance percolation whereas the latter retard it. An attempt has been taken to obtain more insight on the interfacial composition of the mixed interface with the help of spectrophotometric studies using 7-hydroxycoumarin as the fluorophore. The results obtained from the solubilization and conductometric studies have been correlated with those obtained from the spectroscopic studies. 相似文献

-mesons will be produced abundantly at the LHC, the observability of the flavour-changing-neutral-current decay mode B

→ ϕμ+μ− has been studied in CMS at the LHC centre-of-mass energy of 10 TeV. With an integrated luminosity of 100 pb−1, an upper limit of 6.7 × 10−6 on the branching ratio is expected to be obtained. The potential at 7 TeV with a luminosity of 1 fb−1 is expected to be better. 相似文献

Strong cooperative interactions occur between four different broken symmetries involving charge ordering and bond distortions in the quarter-filled correlated zigzag electron ladder. The ground state is singlet, with spin gap several times larger than in the spin-Peierls state of the one-dimensional quarter-filled chain with the same parameters. We propose the quarter-filled zigzag electron ladder model for several different organic charge transfer solids with coupled pairs of quasi-one-dimensional stacks, in which the spin-gap transition temperatures are unusually high. 相似文献

In this paper we study the asymptotics of the tail of the buffer occupancy distribution in buffers accessed by a large number of stationary independent sources and which are served according to a strict HOL priority rule. As in the case of single buffers, the results are valid for a very general class of sources which include long-range dependent sources with bounded instantaneous rates. We first consider the case of two buffers with one of them having strict priority over the other and we obtain asymptotic upper bound for the buffer tail probability for lower priority buffer. We discuss the conditions to have asymptotic equivalents. The asymptotics are studied in terms of a scaling parameter which reflects the server speed, buffer level and the number of sources in such a way that the ratios remain constant. The results are then generalized to the case of M buffers which leads to the source pooling idea. We conclude with numerical validation of our formulae against simulations which show that the asymptotic bounds are tight. We also show that the commonly suggested reduced service rate approximation can give extremely low estimates. 相似文献

A method for the time history of motion of shallow shells of viscoelastic material under arbitrary time-dependent transverse load is presented. The method is based upon the concept of iso-amplitude contour lines on the surface of the shell. It is shown that the time behavior can be found by using the frequency of free vibration of the associated elastic shallow shell. We discuss a unique possibility of generating adiabatic density perturbations and leptogenesis from the spatial fluctuations of the inflaton decay rate. The key assumption is that the initial isocurvature perturbations are created in the right-handed sneutrino sector during inflation which is then converted into adiabatic perturbations when the inflaton decays. We discuss distinct imprints on the cosmic microwave background radiation, which can distinguish nonthermal versus thermal leptogenesis. 相似文献
