The coordination compounds obtained by reaction of hot solutions of dipicolinic acid with the carbonates of the divalent metal ions manganese(II), iron(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) are studied using TG, DSC and HTRS techniques. For the thermal stability a sequence Mn > Fe > Zn > Co > Ni > Cu may be observed. This series is compared with the similar series obtained with isocinchomeronic acid. The thermal stability is, for each metal of the series, isocinchomeronic > dipicolinic. Thermal stability is discussed in terms of the intermolecular bonds, of the structures and of the stability constants of the complexes examined.  相似文献

The aim of the paper is to study the deviation of magnetic properties of the magnetic fluids prepared for this study, from ideal (Langevin) behaviour, i.e. to estimate particle interaction influence and dimensions and influence of particle aggregates, as well as to explain the related effects observed. We also determine the particle coupling parameter, the particle nonmagnetic layer thickness, and the particle distribution, which are fundamental for sample characterization. A comparison of the studied magnetic fluids with each other, with respect to microstructure formation and particle interaction strength is finally done. For these purposes, a concentration dependence study, following the proposed “dilution series approach”, is performed. Summary. N-Nitrosamines of tobacco alkaloids contribute to the cause of tobacco related cancers and, therefore, they are important analytes. Herein the preparation of four partially deuterated N-nitrosamines from simple, commercially available, deuterated educts is described, which can serve as useful standards in tobacco-smoke analysis.  相似文献

Static magnetization curves and the magnetorheological effect were used to study the microstructural properties (agglomerate formation) of magnetic fluids and the properties of dispersed nanoparticles. Improved techniques for magnetogranulometry analysis and a formula for the magnetoviscous effect were proposed. The area of applicability of some existing models was studied. The density, distribution, and dimension of particles, as well as the thickness of the nonmagnetic layer were accurately determined from magnetic measurements. The Shliomis diameter and the effective anisotropy constant were determined from rheological and magnetorheological measurements using information obtained from magnetization curves. A ferrofluid based on Fe3O4 nanoparticles dispersed in heavy water D2O is studied using the μSR method. The experiment has been carried out at temperatures 26–300 K. It is found that the diamagnetic (muon) fraction is formed in the ferrofluid in about the same amount as in D2O, but the muon-spin relaxation rate in the ferrofluid is much higher than in D2O. A significant shift of the muon-spin precession frequency in the ferrofluid is observed. It is shown that the shift of the muon precession frequency as a function of the external magnetic field is described by the Langevin function typical of paramagnetic magnetization. The mean magnetic field in the medium due to magnetic-nanoparticle polarization in an external field is experimentally determined. The nanoparticle sizes are estimated.  相似文献
