The importance of green synthesis was revealed with advantages such as: eliminating the use of expensive chemicals; consume less energy; and generate environmentally benign products. With this aim, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized by using isolated eugenol from clove extract. Its antimicrobial potential was determined on three different microorganisms. Clove was extracted and eugenol was isolated from this extract. Green synthesis was performed and an anti‐microbial study was performed. All extraction and isolation analyses were performed by high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC); identification and confirmation were achieved using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS); and scanning electron microscopy was used for characterization. Both HPLC and LC–MS analyses showed that eugenol obtained purely synthesized AgNPs and 20‐25‐nm‐sized and homogeneous shaped particles seen in images. The antimicrobial effects of AgNPs at eight concentrations were determinated against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans, and maximum inhibition zone diameters were found as 2.6 cm, 2.4 cm and 1.5 cm, respectively. The results of the antimicrobial study showed that eugenol as a biological material brought higher antimicrobial effect to AgNPs in comparison to the other materials found in the literature.  相似文献

Abstract

Iodization of consumed salts is mandatory in many countries fighting against to iodine deficiency. In salts iodine stability is affected by storage conditions. In this study, stabilization of iodine in salt has been determined by using Isotope Dilution Analysis. Heating, heating with oxidizing agent, incubation by time were the parameters which have been determined. Iodine loss was 41.16% by heating at 200°C up to 24 hours. When the iodized salt heated with oxidized agent iodine loss rose up to 58.46% in 24 hours. Iodine loss mechanism seems similar in both cases. However iodine loss is greater in the presence of H2O2. After the salt was stored at room temperature with a relative humidity of 30%–45% and in sealed paper bags for three years, 58.5% of iodine content lost in approximately 3.5 years.  相似文献

The paper presents the extension of the time-domain mapping method applied to 2D billiard problem inside an anisotropic region bounded by ellipse [1]. In this paper, it has been considered the ray movement inside 2D anisotropic region bounded by arbitrary differentiable curve. It has been proved that the problem can be one-to-one mapped onto 2D mathemeatical billiard problem inside the region possessing isotropic properties by linear transformation of group velocity hodograph and boundary with the same coefficient, which is equal to anisotropy of the ray group velocity, simultaneously. The main features of the ray movement inside 2D anistropic region are discussed.  相似文献

We examine the possibilities to use a C02-pumped FIR-ring laser system, which was optimized for operation at 2.5THz, for the generation of other FIR-lines using methanol as laser-active medium. Five laser lines between 1.7 and 4.8THz were detected and characterized with respect to the maximum achievable output power, beam quality and optimum methanol pressure. Mode patterns for most of the lines were recorded in order to allow easy adjustment of the system and line-identification.  相似文献

A detailed study of the effects of the ageing on the characteristic parameters of polyaniline/p-type Si/Al structure has been presented. The polyaniline film has been formed on a p-type Si substrate by means of an anodization process. The polyaniline/p-Si/Al structure has demonstrated clearly rectifying behavior by the current–voltage (IV) curves studied at room temperature. The current–voltage curves of the structure have been measured immediately, 15, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after fabrication of the polyaniline/p-Si/Al structure. It has been seen that the characteristic parameters, such as barrier height (BH), ideality factor and series resistance of polyaniline/p-type Si/Al structure have slowly changed with increasing ageing time. The diode shows non-ideal IV behavior with an ideality factor greater than unity that can be ascribed to the interfacial layer, the interface states and the series resistance.  相似文献

Summary The aim of this study is to synthesize novel 131I labeled estrone derivatives that may have therapeutical potentials on Estrogen Receptor rich tumors. Two radiolabeled estrone derivatives, [131I]2-iodo-3-methoxy-estra-1,3,5-trien-17-one and [131I]4-iodo-3-methoxy-estra-1,3,5-trien-17-one were synthesized. Ether amino estrone derivatives were obtained from estrone in three steps by means of diazonium compounds. Tissue distribution studies exhibited receptor-mediated uptake in target organs in female Albino Wistar rats. Maximum uptakes for 2-iodo[131I]-3-methoxy-estrone are in stomach, pancreas, intestines and uterus. A similar biodistribution profile was obtained for 4-iodo[131I]-3-methoxy-estrone. However 2-iodo-3-methoxy-estra-1,3,5-trien-17-one has higher uptake in stomach, kidneys, pancreas, and intestines than 4-iodo-derivative.  相似文献

Iodide traces in common salts consumed in Turkey have been determined by isotope dilution analysis. Iodide was precipitated by stoichiometric amount of AgNO3. Iodide-131 was used as tracer. Electrophoresis was performed to separate Ag131I from excess131I. Zone of Ag131I was cut off electrophoresis paper and counted with a NaI(Tl) scintillation counter. Count rates were plotted versus added KI concentrations. Unknown iodide amounts were found by using these linear plots. Iodide concentrations found in analyzed salts were 9–58 μg/g.  相似文献
