Theoretical models predict that a variety of self‐assembled structures of closely packed spherical particles may result when they are confined in a cylindrical domain. In the present work we demonstrate for the first time that the polymer‐coated nanoparticles confined in the self‐assembled cylindrical domains of a block copolymer pack in helical morphology, where we can isolate individual fibers filled with helically arranged nanoparticles. This finding provides unique possibilities for fundamental as well as application‐oriented research in similar directions. 相似文献

Selective hydrolytic oxidation of organohydrosilanes was achieved with water in the presence of Pt‐nanoparticle catalyst. The selectivity of the process was established by NMR analysis. In addition, various Pt‐based catalysts were screened to compare the activity and selectivity with Pt‐nanoparticles catalysis. The method was equally applicable to hydrosilanes bearing unsaturated functional groups, which led to corresponding silanols under mild reaction conditions without formation of any side products. Few-layered graphene (FLG) with specific surface area of only ~8.2 m2 g?1 was synthesized from graphene oxide (GO) using microwave-assisted exfoliation. GO was prepared using modified Hummers method. Few-layered nature of the exfoliated material was confirmed by electron microscopy, X-ray and electron diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy. Coin cells were fabricated using FLG as an anode and lithium metal as a counter electrode. The cells were tested using cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic cycling techniques. FLG showed reversible capacity values of ~400 and ~250 mAh g?1 at current rates of 0.1 and 1 C, respectively. Columbic efficiency was more than 98 % while cycle to cycle capacity fading was less than 2 %. Maximum discharge or charging capacity was below 0.3 V, a preferable characteristic for achieving ideal anodic behavior. 相似文献

A virtual library of 54 inositol analog mimics of In(1,4,5)P3 has been docked, scored, and ranked within the binding site of human inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate 3-kinase A (IP3-3KA). Chemical synthesis of the best scoring structure that also met distance criteria for 3′-OH to -P in phosphate has been attempted along with the synthesis of (1S,2R,3S,4S)-3-fluoro-2,4-dihydroxycyclohexanecarboxylic acid as an inositol analog, useful for non-invasive visualization and quantitation of IP3-3KA enzymatic activity. 相似文献

The tetrahedral cobalt(II) complexes A-D are found to possess an unusual coordinately unsaturated nature. These additives significantly inhibit the thermal polymerization of acrylamide and further, they impart significant induction period during AIBN initiated polymerization of MMA and acrylamide. Some evidence has been obtained to show that the additives' effect plausibly results because of the reaction of the coordinately unsaturated cobalt complexes with radicals present in the system. 相似文献

A selective, rapid and simple liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method is described for assay of donepezil in human plasma using escitalopram as an internal standard. Chromatographic separation was achieved on a Betabasic-C(8), 5 microm, 100 x 4.6 mm column using methanol:water:formic acid (90:9.97:0.03, v/v/v) as mobile phase. Detection of donepezil and internal standard was achieved by ESI MS/MS in positive ion mode using 380.20/91.10 and 325.13/262.00 transitions, respectively. The linearity over the concentration range of 0.15-50 ng/mL for donepezil was obtained and the lower limit of quantification was 0.15 ng/mL. For each level of quality control samples, inter-day and intra-day precisions (RSD) were < or =8.92 and 10.35% and accuracy (%RE) were < or =7.33% and 9.33%, respectively. The recovery was more than 88.50% for both donepezil and internal standard by solid-phase extraction, eliminating evaporation and reconstitution steps. 相似文献

In this study, we present nanowear studies using surface force microscopy (SFM), on nanoscopic thin films of reversibly switchable binary polymer brushes [polystyrene (PS) + poly(2-vinylpyridine) (P2VP)] and respective monobrushes [polystyrene and poly(2-vinylpyridine)] synthesized via “grafting to” method. The aim was to tune the wear in nanothin polymer brush surfaces. Therefore, the effect of conformational switching of PS + P2VP brush on treatment with selective solvents for PS and P2VP chains on the wear process was investigated. Wear process on thick spin-coated films of PS and P2VP was also investigated for comparison. Nanowear experiments were performed using SFM tip by repeating scans over the surface to follow the wear process closely. The wear process on different surfaces was explained on the basis of molecular entanglement as well as adhesion and friction on the sample surface. For spin-coated PS film as well as PS and PS + P2VP brush surfaces (treated with toluene) with molecular entanglements at surface, wear mechanism involved formation of ripples. However, in case of spin-coated P2VP films as well as P2VP and PS + P2VP brush surfaces (treated with ethanol) with no molecular entanglements at surface, wear occurred via removal of polymer chains and their accumulation at the rim. For PS + P2VP surface treated with acidic water, wear mechanism was complex and inhomogeneous ripple formation was followed by formation of heaps of polymeric material in the center of scanned area. The extent of wear as measured either by root mean square roughness of the surface or spacing between the ripples, increased with the number of scans for all the surfaces. Our study shows that wear mode of polymer brush surfaces is different for different polymers and can be controlled/tuned by the use of binary polymer brushes. 相似文献

Amorphous Fe40Ni40B20 (VITROVAC 0040) alloy has been investigated using 57Fe Mössbauer Spectroscopy. The Curie temperature Tc is found to be well defined and is 695 ± 1 K. The quadrupole splitting just above Tc is 0.64 mm sec?1. The crystallization temperature is 698 ± 2 K, close to but definitely above Tc. The average hyperfine field Heff(T) of the glassy state shows a temperature dependence of indicative of the existence of spin wave excitations. The values of and are found to be 0.40 and 0.06, respectively, for T/Tc ? 0.72. At temperatures close to Tc, Heff(T) varies as (1 ? T/Tc)β where β is one of the critical exponents and its value is found to be 0.29 ± 0.02. 相似文献
