The Baylis-Hillman (BH) reaction of substituted 5-isoxazolecarboxaldehydes with cyclohexenone in the presence of TiCl(4) invariably lead to the formation of hemiacetals beside the BH adducts. A similar reaction in the presence of DABCO, DBU, or 3-HQN yielded minor quantities of phenols in addition to the usual BH adducts. Similar to 5-isoxazolecarboxaldehydes, the TiCl(4)-mediated BH reaction of cyclohexenone with various benzaldehydes also furnishes hemiacetals in considerable yields. The reaction mechanism involving the formation of alpha-chloromethyl enone as an intermediate has been proposed. The synthesis of hemiacetals 5 and 14 from compound 4 in the presence of cyclohexenone and cyclopentenone, respectively, under acidic conditions indicates that enolization and aromatization of the cyclohexene ring are the key steps in the reaction mechanism. 相似文献

We generalize the collision term in the one-dimensional Boltzmann-Nordheim transport equation for quasiparticles that obey the Haldane exclusion statistics. For the equilibrium situation, this leads to the golden rule factor for quantum transitions. As an application of this, we calculate the density response function of a one-dimensional electron gas in a periodic potential, assuming that the particle-hole excitations are quasiparticles obeying the new statistics. Under electrospray ionization conditions loganic acid undergoes alkali metal (Li, Na and K) exchange and alkali metal cationization. Multiple exchanges of up to four alkali metal ions are observed. Different populations of metal exchanged species are produced during electrospray ionization. Collision-induced dissociation of ammonium cationized species is compared with that of metal cationized species to study the effect of metal cationization. Glycosidic cleavage and ring cleavages of aglycone and sugar moieties are the major fragmentation pathways observed during collision-induced dissociation. The fragmentations of the highly metal exchanged species indicate the opening of the pyran ring.
