Abstract

Red phosphorus reacts with allylbenzene in the superbase system KOH-DMSO (130°C, 3 h, Ar) to give a mixture of bis(1-methyl-2-phenylethyl)phosphane (1), bis(1-methyl-2-phenylethyl)phosphane oxide (2), and 1-methyl-2-phenylethylphosphinic acid (3). Secondary phosphane oxide 2 and phosphinic acid 3 have been isolated from this mixture in 35% and 32% yield, respectively. Microwave activation of the reaction (200 W, 30 min) affords secondary phosphane 1 as the main product in 48% yield.

A direct functionalization of a variety of quinones with several boronic acids has been developed. This scalable reaction proceeds readily at room temperature in an open flask using inexpensive reagents: catalytic silver(I) nitrate in the presence of a persulfate co-oxidant. The scope with respect to quinones is broad, with a variety of alkyl- and arylboronic acids undergoing efficient cross-coupling. The mechanism is presumed to proceed through a nucleophilic radical addition to the quinone with in situ reoxidation of the resulting dihydroquinone. This method has been applied to complex substrates, including a steroid derivative and a farnesyl natural product.  相似文献

We numerically investigate the post-pulse alignment of rotationally excited diatomic molecules upon nonresonant interaction with a linearly polarized laser pulse. In addition to the simulations, we develop a simple model which qualitatively describes the shape and amplitude of post-pulse alignment induced by a laser pulse of moderate power density. In our treatment we take into account that molecules in rotationally excited states can interact with a laser pulse not only by absorbing energy but also by stimulated emission. The extent to which these processes are present in the interaction depends, on the one hand, on the directionality of the molecular angular momentum (given by the M quantum number), and on the other hand on the ratio of transition frequencies and pulse duration (determined by the J number). A rotational wave packet created by a strong pulse from an initially pure state contains a broad range of rotational levels, over which the character of the interaction can change from non-adiabatic to adiabatic. Depending on the laser pulse duration and amplitude, the transition from the non-adiabatic to the adiabatic limit proceeds through a region with dominant rotational heating, or alignment, for short pulses and a large region with rotational cooling, and correspondingly preferred anti-alignment, for longer pulses.  相似文献

The aqueous sodium undecenoate (SUD) –dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) catanionic system was studied at low concentration. The system did not precipitate, even at a 1:1 SUD:DTAB proportion, but showed the formation of a coacervate in a range of surfactant mixture compositions. Micelles have a preferential composition of 0.37 mole fraction of SUD. This behavior is attributed to the presence of the double bond at the distal extreme of the SUD molecule, which can form hydrogen bonds with water. Consequently, the –CH=CH2 group is situated at the interface between the hydrocarbon micelle core and water, reducing the interfacial free energy. Structural computations demonstrate that the mentioned SUD proportion produces complete coverage of the micelle surface by the double bonds.  相似文献

The microfluidic integration of an entire DNA analysis workflow on a fully integrated miniaturized instrument is reported using lab‐on‐a‐chip automation to perform DNA fingerprinting compatible with CODIS standard relevant to the forensic community. The instrument aims to improve the cost, duration, and ease of use to perform a “sample‐to‐profile” analysis with no need for human intervention. The present publication describes the operation of the three major components of the system: the electronic control components, the microfluidic cartridge and CE microchip, and the optical excitation/detection module. Experimental details are given to characterize the level of performance, stability, reliability, accuracy, and sensitivity of the prototype system. A typical temperature profile from a PCR amplification process and an electropherogram of a commercial size standard (GeneScan 500?, Applied Biosystems) separation are shown to assess the relevance of the instrument to forensic applications. Finally, we present a profile from an automated integrated run where lysed cells from a buccal swab were introduced in the system and no further human intervention was required to complete the analysis.  相似文献

The synthesis, structural chemistry and magnetic properties of a series of new Cu(II) polymers with α,ω-dicarboxylic acids (sebacic (H2seb), suberic (H2sub), succinic (H2suc) and adipic (H2adip)) and 3-aminopyridine (3-apy) are described: [Cu(Hsub)2(3-apy)2·2CH3OH]n (1); [Cu(Hseb)2(3-apy)2·4CH3OH]n (2); [Cu(Hsuc)2(3-apy)2]n (3); [Cu(adip)(3-apy)2]n·n(H2adip) (4). All four compounds feature a bis-monodentate bridging mode of the coordinated dicarboxylate moiety. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit linear chains, whereas compound 3 shows two-dimensional structure. The 3-apy ligand acts as terminal ligand in 13. Compound 4 contains a doubly deprotonated adipate (adip2−) that connects Cu centers into linear chains. Additionally, 3-apy acts as a bridge in 4, resulting in the formation of parallel two-dimensional layers distant enough to host neutral molecules of adipic acid. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of compounds 1 and 3 show Curie law behavior indicating that the S = 1/2 Cu(II) spin carriers are magnetically well isolated by the dicarboxylate ligands.  相似文献

The interaction between Cp(CO)2RePt(μ-CCHPh)(PPh3)2 (1) and Fe2(CO)9 afforded the new heterometallic μ3-vinylidene cluster CpReFePt(μ3-CCHPh)(CO)6(PPh3) (2). An X-ray diffraction study shows the complex 2 possesses a trimetallic Re-Fe-Pt chain core. The bond lengths are Re-Fe 2.8221(8), Fe-Pt 2.5813(8) Å; the Re?Pt distance is 3.3523(7) Å; the bond angle Re-Fe-Pt is 76.55(3)°. The μ3-CCHPh ligand is η1-bound to the Re and Pt atoms and η2-coordinated to the Fe atom. The CC bond length is 1.412(4) Å. The Pt atom is coordinated by the PPh3 and CO groups. Complex 2 is characterized by the IR and 1H, 13C and 31P NMR spectra.  相似文献
