ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions (T = 150 °C, P = autogenous, experimental duration = 18 h). Manganese was added as an additive to ZnO nanoparticles in different molar percentages. In situ surface-modification was successfully carried out for these manganese-added ZnO nanoparticles using n-butylamine as a surface modifier. The modified manganese-added ZnO nanoparticulates are hydrophilic in nature and are well dispersed in various solvents. The modified nanoparticles were characterized using powder XRD, FTIR, SEM, Zeta potential, and UV?CVis spectrophotometry. The characterization results indicated tailoring of the morphology and size of the nanoparticles, and changing the surface chemistry of the nanoparticles synthesized. The SEM results show that the surface modified manganese-added ZnO nanoparticles have a very thin layer of organic coverage around the inorganic nanoparticles, thus, giving rise to hybrid nanoparticles. The photodegradation of Brilliant Blue dye under sunlight showed the higher efficiency of the modified manganese-doped ZnO nanoparticles compared to the reagent-grade ZnO.  相似文献

We classify the almost regular weakly stretch non-Randers-type(α, β)-metrics with vanishing Scurvature. In the class of regular metrics, they reduce to Berwald ones. Here, we demonstrate that when an almost regular weakly stretch non-Randers-type(α, β)-metric with vanishing S-curvature is not Berwaldian, then it is a weakly generalized unicorn. This yields an extension of Zou-Cheng and Chen-Liu's theorems. Finally, we show that any projective non-Randers β-change of a unicorn is a unicorn.  相似文献

In this study, Y zeolite nanocrystals were synthesized without an organic template and were used as a support for bifunctional nanocatalysts in the hydroisomerization of n-octane. Different types of catalysts were synthesized by loading Pt, Cr, and phosphomolybdic acid (HPMo) on Y zeolite nanocrystal supports and were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), and transmission electron microscope (TEM) analysis. The Cr-Pt/HPMo-Y nanocatalyst with a surface area of approx. 600 m2/g showed the best performance in the hydroisomerization of n-octane. The optimization of n-octane hydroisomerization over bifunctional nanocatalysts supported on nanocrystalline Y zeolite, in the presence of H2 gas, was applied based on the response surface methodology (RSM) and Box–Behnken design (BBD) template. The effect of three different process variables on the yield of iso-alkanes as the purpose process was determined. Experiments were carried out using a fixed-bed microreactor under different ranges of weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) (A = 0.5–1.5 hr−1), H2 to n-C8 molar ratio (B = 1:1–3:1), and reaction temperature (C = 200–300°C). The RSM proved that the temperature variable had the greatest impact on the hydroisomerization reaction yield.  相似文献
