Incorporation of palladium nanoparticles on the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and modification of glassy carbon electrode with the prepared nano-hybrid material led to the fabrication of a novel electrode. The modified electrode showed attractive electrocatalytic activity and sensitizing effect on luminol-O(2) and luminol-H(2)O(2) electrochemiluminescence (ECL) reactions at neutral media. The sensitized luminol-O(2) and luminol-H(2)O(2) reactions were successfully applied for the ECL determination of dissolved O(2) and glucose, respectively. Under the optimal conditions for luminol-O(2) system, the ECL signal intensity of luminol was linear with the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the range between 0.08 and 0.94 mM (r=0.9996) and for luminol-H(2)O(2) system, the ECL signal intensity of luminol was linear with the concentration of glucose in the range between 0.1 and 1000 μM (r=0.9998). The limits of detection (S/N=3) for dissolved oxygen and glucose were 0.02 mM and 54 nM, respectively. The relative standard deviations (RSD) for repetitive measurements of 0.50 mM oxygen (n=10) and 10 μM glucose (n=30) were 3.5% and 0.3%, respectively. Also, under the optimal conditions for luminol-H(2)O(2) system, the ECL signal intensity of luminol was linear with the concentration of H(2)O(2) in the range between 1 nM and 0.45 mM (r=0.9997). The limit of detection (S/N=3) for H(2)O(2) detection was 0.5 nM and the relative standard deviation for repetitive measurements of 10 μM H(2)O(2) (n=10) was 0.8%.  相似文献

This article reviews some of the applications of physics to the solution of archaeological problems. The use of magnetic, resistivity and electromagnetic surveying techniques for the location of buried features is described. Various methods of age determination are outlined while the problems associated with radiocarbon dating of organic material and thermoluminescent dating of pottery are discussed in detail. The techniques, including petrological examination, chemical analysis and isotopic analysis, employed in the physical examination of archaeological artefacts are described. Examples of the application of these techniques in establishing the source of the raw materials used in pottery, metal and stone implements and in elucidating the techniques of manufacture of pottery and metal objects are also given.  相似文献

In this paper the analytical equation of state (EoS) proposed by Ihm‐Song‐Mason was applied to calculate molar volume of mixtures of carbon dioxide with nitrogen and methane. The pair interaction potential has been used to evaluate the second virial coefficients and the ISM EoS parameters (i.e. α and b). The calculated values of the aforesaid quantities were applied to predict the molar volumes for mixtures of carbon dioxide with nitrogen and methane. In this paper, we investigate with a time fractional-order derivative in a three-species predator-prey model with the presence of prey social behavior. A new approximation for predator-prey interaction in the presence of prey social behavior has been considered. For the model analysis, the study has been divided into two principal parts. First of all, we study the local stability of the equilibria and the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Then, for the numerical analysis, the Caputo fractional derivative operator is utilized to approximate the numerical solution of the model. An excellent agreement is seen between the numerical results and the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

In the present work, the oxidation of acetaminophen in the absence and presence of eflornithine was electrochemically investigated by means of cyclic voltammetry at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Our results indicate that N‐acetyl‐p‐benzoquinone imine (NAPQI) produced from two‐electron electrochemical oxidation of acetaminophen participates in a Michael addition reaction with eflornithine via an ECE mechanism. This fact was used for the determination of eflornithine using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) technique on the surface of β‐Cyclodextrin modified glassy carbon (β‐CD/GC) electrode. β‐CD/GC electrode was prepared through an electrodeposition procedure and characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS) techniques. Under optimum conditions, the β‐CD/GC electrode showed a good linearity as a function of the eflornithine concentration over the range from 5 to 100 μM with detection limit and quantification limit of 1.94 and 5.8 μM, respectively. Finally, the proposed protocol was confirmed to be successful in determination of eflornithine in human urine samples with good recovery, ranging from 97.2 % to 104.8 %.  相似文献
