Let G be a locally compact group. We continue our work [A. Ghaffari: Γ-amenability of locally compact groups, Acta Math. Sinica, English Series, 26 (2010), 2313–2324] in the study of Γ-amenability of a locally compact group G defined with respect to a closed subgroup Γ of G × G. In this paper, among other things, we introduce and study a closed subspace A Γ p (G) of L (Γ) and then characterize the Γ-amenability of G using A Γ p (G). Various necessary and sufficient conditions are found for a locally compact group to possess a Γ-invariant mean.  相似文献

In this paper, temperature analysis of the complete process of moving induction heat treatment is performed using numerical methods. A non-linear and transient magneto-thermal coupled problem with a moving coil which is considered as moving heat source, is investigated by an efficient finite-element procedure. A vertical hollow circular cylinder is heated by the moving coil at a given velocity along it, and the heated parts then quenched by a moving water–air spray. The effects of natural convection with air on the both inner and outer surfaces of cylinder, and also radiation of outer surface of cylinder with ambient are taken into account. For quenching of work-piece, a specific kind of atomized spray cooling which utilizes a mixture of water and air with different mass fractions is used. This procedure includes moving boundary conditions, temperature-dependent properties, and change in magnetic permeability of specified alloy at the Curie temperature. Obtained numerical results have been verified by comparison with analytical solutions using Green’s function methods. Also, the effect of velocity, initial position of inductor and inner to outer radius ratio on temperature distribution are investigated.  相似文献

This paper investigates the effect of particle size and compaction pressure on the magnetic properties of iron-phenolic soft magnetic composites (50 Hz-1000 kHz). The results showed that the optimum amount of phenolic resin to attain maximum permeability and minimum loss factor at 10 kHz is 0.7 wt% for samples containing iron powder with average particle size ∼150 μm compacted at 800 MPa. In accordance with this resin content, at high frequencies (>300 kHz), the sample with lower particle size ∼10 μm exhibits higher magnetic permeability, higher operating frequencies and lower imaginary part of permeability. With increase in the compaction pressure, specific resistivity decreases and imaginary and real parts of permeability increase at low frequencies.  相似文献

We reconsider the holographic dark energy (HDE) model with a slowly time varying c 2(z) parameter in the energy density, namely \(\rho _{D}=3{M_{p}^{2}} c^{2}(z)/L^{2}\), where L is the IR cutoff and z is the redshift parameter. As the system’s IR cutoff we choose the Hubble radius and the Granda-Oliveros (GO) cutoffs. The latter inspired by the Ricci scalar curvature. We derive the evolution of the cosmological parameters such as the equation of state and the deceleration parameters as the explicit functions of the redshift parameter z. Then, we plot the evolutions of these cosmological parameters in terms of the redshift parameter during the history of the universe. Interestingly enough, we observe that by choosing L = H ?1 as the IR cutoff for the HDE with time varying c 2(z) term, the present acceleration of the universe expansion can be achieved, even in the absence of interaction between dark energy and dark matter. This is in contrast to the usual HDE model with constant c 2 term, which leads to a wrong equation of state, namely that for dust w D =0, when the IR cutoff is chosen the Hubble radius.  相似文献

Spatial variation of ultrasonic attenuation and velocity has been measured in plane parallel specimens extracted from resistance spot welds. In a strong weld, attenuation is larger in the nugget than in the parent material, and the region of increased attenuation is surrounded by a ring of decreased attenuation. In the center of a stick weld, attenuation is even larger than in a strong weld, and the low-attenuation ring is absent. These spatial variations are interpreted in terms of differences in grain size and martensite formation. Measured frequency dependences indicate the presence of an additional attenuation mechanism besides grain scattering. The observed attenuations do not vary as commonly presumed with weld quality, suggesting that the common practice of using ultrasonic attenuation to indicate weld quality is not a reliable methodology.  相似文献

In this paper, we demonstrate a new type of two-dimensional photonic crystal wavelength division demultiplexers based on ring resonators that can be applicable to photonic integrated circuits. The proposed structure mechanism is performed based on coupling between a waveguide and a ring resonator. Based on the calculated position, this structure is designed and verified by finite-difference time-domain computation; our simulation by using this method results over 82% output efficiency. We use a heterostructure which is constructed of three different values of dielectric constant to obtain our wavelength division demultiplexer.  相似文献

Bio‐based foams are the solution to environmental concerns raised by petrochemical‐based open cell foams used in various industries for sound absorption. While conventional petrochemical‐based polymers take centuries to degrade or may not degrade at all, bio‐based polymers decompose to biomass, water, and carbon dioxide in a matter of months when exposed to proper environment. To increase the potential of replacing current petrochemical foams, mechanical as well as acoustic characteristics of bio‐based foams need to be improved. This article studies the effect of blending two bio‐based polymers and physics of the blends on acoustic and mechanical properties of resulting polymer composite foams. Different blends of polylactide with three grades of polyhydroxyalkanoates were foamed and characterized based on acoustic and mechanical performance. Rheological properties of pure polymers as well as their blends were studied and effect of polymer blends on acoustic absorption of the resulting foams was investigated. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Effect of various antioxidants on the thermal oxidation stability of LDPE and X-LDPE has been investigated. To achieve this purpose, miscellaneous commercial grade antioxidants such as Irganox 1010, Irganox1076, Irgafos168, Irganox B225, and Chimassorb 944 were selected. Then, formulations based on different content of antioxidant were prepared. The samples were crosslinked by exposure to electron beam irradiation. To assess the thermal oxidation stability of samples, oxidation induction time (OIT) test was accomplished on both the irradiated and unirradiated specimens. Ageing tests were carried out in order to evaluate the thermal oxidation stability of irradiated X-LDPE. The results indicate that Irganox 1010 is the most effective antioxidant amongst the selected ones, concerning thermal oxidation stability of LDPE, before and after aging test.  相似文献

Combining domains of different chemical nature within the same hybrid material through the formation of heterojunctions provides the opportunity to exploit the properties of each individual component within the same nano-object; furthermore, new synergistic properties will often arise as a result of unique interface interactions. However, synthetic strategies enabling precise control over the final architecture of multicomponent objects still remain scarce for certain classes of materials. Herein, we report on the formation of Cu/MOx (M = Ce, Zn and Zr) hybrid nanocrystals with a tunable number of interfaces between the two domains. We demonstrate that the organic ligands employed during the synthesis play a key role in regulating the final configuration. Finally, we show that the synthesized nanocrystals serve as materials platforms to investigate the impact of the Cu/metal oxide interfaces in applications by focusing on the electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction as one representative example.

We report on the formation of Cu/metal oxide hybrid nanocrystals with a tunable number of interfaces between the two domains. We demonstrate that the organic ligands employed during the synthesis play a key role in regulating the final configuration.  相似文献
