A study of the electrodynamical properties of open coaxial cylindrical resonators using a partially conical inner rod is made along with experimental verification. On the basis of a geometrical criterion for the occurrence of high-Q resonances, it turns out to be possible to discriminate certain classes of TE modes by keeping to a minimum value their diffrationQ factors. In particular, for an especially designed cavity only TE0.2 and TE1.3 modes appear to have strong resonance in the 6 · 14GHz range as a result of the action of the coaxial insert. 相似文献
The influence of inorganic nanoparticles on crosslinking mechanism of elastomers has been evaluated by applying the tube model on equilibrium statistical mechanics. The results have shown that a highly ordered structure with a huge amount of entanglements, wherein the polymer is nanoscopically confined, is formed by the addition of nanoparticles. These physical links exhibit freedom of movement under stretching, but in a lower volume because of confinement. That is, network molecular parameters such as lateral tube dimensions or average molecular mass of the chains decreased in presence of nanoparticles. 相似文献
The procedure for automating the method of sample preparation by solid-phase extraction prior to the HPLC analysis of polyphenolic compounds in sherry wine is described. This method consists of two stages, the first being sample preconcentration and cleaning using a C18 cartridge and the second fractionation using a SAX anion exchanger. The first direct application of the method, using a semi-flexible robot system, did not produce satisfactory results, thus requiring a series of modifications and optimization of the variables inherent in the device itself. The automated method as modified produced considerable improvements over the manual method with respect to the recovery and repeatability values obtained with the different polyphenolic species used in its optimization. Subsequent testing of the method with real samples of sherry wine proved its applicability for tracking the evolution of polyphenolic species in wine. 相似文献
In this paper, we deal with a class of semilinear elliptic equations in a bounded domain , , with boundary. Using a new fixed point result of the Krasnoselskii type for the sum of two operators, an existence principle of strong solutions is proved. We give two examples where the nonlinearity can be critical.
We investigate in detail the question of lepton-flavour violation in a SU(2) × U(1) supersymmetric model, where the breaking of supersymmetry (SUSY) is achieved through the coupling to N = 1 supergravity. It is shown that in the limit of degenerate neutrino masses, lepton flavour is exactly conserved. Allowing for neutrino masses compatible with present experimental limits, we analyse SUSY contributions to several lepton-flavour violating processes, comparing the size of these contributions with those already present in the standard Glashow-Salam-Weinberg model. In the case of μ → eγ, SUSY leads to a branching ratio two or three orders of magnitude larger than the corresponding branching ratio in the standard model, for gravitino and photino masses compatible with the experimental limits on the muon anomalous magnetic moment. In contrast, SUSY contributions to
are always small, of the order of 10−2 of the corresponding amplitudes in the standard model, if the gravitino and photino masses are constrained by the KL − KS mass difference. 相似文献

Parkia pendula seed lectin was used to treat cutaneous wounds of normal and immunocompromised mice, inducing cicatrization. Methotrexate (0.8 mg/kg/week) was used as immunosuppressive drug. Wounds were produced in the dorsal region (1 cm2) of female albino Swiss mice (Mus musculus), health and immunocompromised. Wounds were daily topically treated with 100 μL of the following solutions: (1) control (NaCl 0.15 M), (2) control Im (0.15 M NaCl), (3) P. pendula seed lectin (100 μg/mL), and (4) P. pendula seed lectin Im (100 μg/mL). Clinical evaluation was performed during 12 days. Biopsies for histopathology analysis and microbiological examinations were carried out in the second, seventh, and 12th days. The presence of edema and hyperemia was observed in all groups during inflammatory period. The first crust was detected from the second day, only in the groups treated with P. pendula seed lectin. Microbiological analysis of wounds from day 0 to day 2 did not show bacterium at P. pendula seed lectin group; however, Staphylococcus sp. was detected every day in the other groups. The lectin markedly induced a total wound closing at P. pendula seed lectin and P. pendula seed lectin Im groups on 11th day of evolution. The present study suggests that P. pendula seed lectin is a biomaterial potential to show pharmacological effect in the repair process of cutaneous wounds. 相似文献
The development of a rapid, reproducible and simple method of extraction of the majority capsaicinoids (nordihydrocapsaicin, capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin, homocapsaicin and homodihydrocapsaicin) present in hot peppers by the employment of ultrasound-assisted extraction is reported. The study has covered four possible solvents for the extraction (acetonitrile, methanol, ethanol and water), the optimum temperature for extraction (10–60 °C), the extraction time (2–25 min), the quantity of sample (0.2–2 g), and the volume of solvent (15–50 mL). Under the optimum conditions of the method developed, methanol is employed as solvent, at a temperature of 50 °C and an extraction time of 10 min. The repeatability and reproducibility of the method (R.S.D. < 3%) have been determined. The capsaicinoids extracted have been analysed by HPLC with fluorescence detection and using monolithic columns for the chromatographic separation. The method developed has been employed for the quantification of the various capsaicinoids present in different varieties of hot peppers cultivated in Spain. 相似文献
There is an actual need of advanced materials for the emerging field of bioelectronics. One commonly used material is the conducting polymer poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) due to its general use in organic electronics. However, depending on the application in bioelectronics, PEDOT:PSS is not fully biocompatible due to the high acidity of the residual sulfonate protons of PSS. In this paper, the synthesis and biocompatibility properties of new poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):GlycosAminoGlycan (PEDOT:GAG) aqueous dispersions and its resulting films are shown. Thus, negatively charged GAGs as an alternative to PSS are presented. Three different commercially available GAGs, hyaluronic acid, heparin, and chondroitin sulfate are used. Indeed, PEDOT:GAGs dispersions are prepared through an oxidative chemical polymerization in water. Biocompatibility assays of the PEDOT:GAGs coatings are performed using SH‐SY5Y and CCF‐STTG1 cell lines and with ATP and Ca2+. Results show full biocompatibility and a pronounced anti‐inflammatory effect. This last characteristic becomes crucial if implanted in the body. These materials can be used for in vivo applications, as transistor or electrode for electrical recording and for all the possible situations when there is contact between electronic circuits and living tissues.
