This paper describes an original one-pot way to synthesize nine new halogenated aminoquinoline derivatives using reactions conducted by niobium pentachloride. Subsequently, we describe an efficient and selective reduction reaction of nitroquinolines using niobium pentachloride and zinc, producing important compounds in the organic synthesis.The results showed that it is an important tool to synthesize these compounds, besides being time- and resources-saving and generating good yields. A study about the effect of nitrogen in the calibration curves of a series of analytical emission lines has been carried out
in this work. Fifteen reference materials with different matrices (Fe, Al, Zn, Cu and Ni) were used (three of these reference
materials contain nitrogen in their composition) and plots of intensity versus the product “sputtering rate times element
concentration” were constructed for emission lines of the analytes considered in this work (Al, Fe, Cu, Cr, C, Mo, Zn, Si,
Ti and Ni). Two different fits were performed in each plot, first considering only the points corresponding to samples without
nitrogen in their composition and secondly including all the points. The results show almost negligible differences in the
emission yields calculated. On the other hand, a mixture of Ar containing 0.5% N2 was employed to check if the nitrogen effect was present at higher concentrations than those expected in analysis when samples
with high nitrogen concentrations are used. Differences between the slopes of the calibration curves with the Ar/N2 and pure Ar discharges were obtained (up to 30%). A study of the molecular bands recorded in the spectra when nitrogen is
present in the discharge and determination of the resulting interferences on the analytes have been performed.

The use of nanotechnology in bioanalytical devices has special advantages in the detection of toxins of interest in food safety and environmental applications. The low levels to be detected and the small size of toxins justify the increasing number of publications dealing with electrochemical biosensors, due to their high sensitivity and design versatility. The incorporation of nanomaterials in their development has been exploited to further increase their sensitivity, providing simple and fast devices, with multiplexed capabilities. This paper gives an overview of the electrochemical biosensors that have incorporated carbon and metal nanomaterials in their configurations for the detection of toxins. Biosensing systems based on magnetic beads or integrated into microfluidics systems have also been considered because of their contribution to the development of compact analytical devices. The roles of these materials, the methods used for their incorporation in the biosensor configurations as well as the advantages they provide to the analyses are summarised. 相似文献

In this work, the electrocatalytical properties and kinetic characteristics of new electrodes modified with Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs) and three generations of ferrocene functionalized dendrimers have been investigated as new acetaminophen amperometric sensors. The catalytic synergy of PtNPs with the ferrocene groups is discussed in relation to the ferrocenyl dendrimer generation and their properties. The modified electrodes show excellent catalytic responses toward the oxidation of acetaminophen, with good reproducibility. The overpotential for oxidation of acetaminophen at pH 7 is decreased, and the current response significantly enhanced. The best dendrimer/PtNPs/Pt electrode shows several wide linear concentration ranges for the acetaminophen oxidation from 0 to beyond 17 mM. At 0.5 V vs. SCE, the first linear range extends from 0 to 100 μM (y = 0.0131x ? 0.0028; R 2 = 0.9996) and the last from 10 mM to at least 17 mM (y = 0.0024x + 26.6; R 2 = 0.9977). This fact turns the developed acetaminophen sensor in the device with the widest application range. In addition, the sensor allows measuring acetaminophen in the presence of interfering substances as glucose, dopamine, uric acid, and ascorbic acid, and it has been successfully applied to the determination of acetaminophen in three pharmaceutical formulations. 相似文献

In this work,the use of sepiolite for the removal of carbon dioxide from a carbon diox- ide/methane mixture by a pressure swing adsorption(PSA)process has been researched.Adsorption equilibrium and kinetics have been measured in a fixed-bed,and the adsorption equilibrium parameters of carbon dioxide and methane on sepiolite have been obtained.A model based on the LDF approxima- tion has been employed to simulate the fixed-bed kinetics,using the Langmuir equation to describe the adsorption equilibrium isotherm.The functioning of a PSA cycle for separating carbon dioxide/methane mixtures using sepiolite as adsorbent has also been studied.The experimental results were compared with the ones predicted by the model adapted to a PSA system.Methane with purity higher than 97% can be obtained from feeds containing carbon dioxide with concentrations ranging from 34% to 56% with the proposed PSA cycle.These results suggest that sepiolite is an adsorbent with good properties for its employment in a PSA cycle for carbon dioxide removal from landfill gases. 相似文献

The compounds [Os3(CO)10{μ,η3-(SCH2CH2SCCHC(O)CHCH(C5H4)Fe (C5H5)}] (2), [Os3(CO)9{μ,η3-(SCH2CH2SCCHC(O)CHCH(C5H4)Fe(C5H5)}] (3) and [Os3(CO)8{μ3,η2-{CCHC(O)CHCH(C5H4)Fe(C5H5)}(SCH2CH2S)}] (4) have been obtained by rupture of S-C bonds in the ketene dithioacetal [C5H5FeC5H4CHCHC(O)CHC(SCH2CH2S)], in their reaction with the activated cluster [Os3(CO)10(NCMe)2]. The presence of an oxametallacycle in these derivatives has been confirmed by an X-ray diffraction analysis. A screening method was developed to discriminate among water samples contaminated or uncontaminated with N-nitrosamines in order to reduce the use of expensive instruments such as chromatographs. The system is based on the preconcentration of the analytes onto a sorbent column, elution and derivatization to form nitrite, then formation of a coloured product (Griess reaction) and photometric detection. The limit of detection achieved for 100 ml of sample volume was 0.2 μg/l and the sample frequency 3 h−1. The reliability of the proposed method of the N-nitrosamines was established at five concentrations (between 0.5 and 3 times the limit of detection). For a level concentration of 0.6 μg/l (three times the limit of detection), the percentage of false negatives is 0%. The method was applied to the screening of several water samples (river, pond, well, tap and waste) with a positive response only for waste water samples. 相似文献

HiPco single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) have been sidewall-functionalized with phthalocyanine addends following two different approaches: a straightforward Prato reaction with N-octylglycine and a formyl-containing phthalocyanine, and a stepwise approach that involves a former Prato cycloaddition to the double bonds of SWNTs using p-formyl benzoic acid followed by esterification of the derivatized nanotubes with an appropriate phthalocyanine molecule. The two materials obtained by these routes comprise different carbon/Pc-addenda ratios, as evidenced by Raman, TGA, and photophysical studies. The occurrence of electron transfer from photoexcited phthalocyanines to the nanotube framework in these ZnPc-SWNT ensembles is observed in transient absorption experiments, which confirm the absorption of the one-electron oxidized ZnPc cation and the concomitant bleaching of the van Hove singularities typical from SWNTs. Charge-separation (i.e., 2.0 x 1010 s(-1)) and charge-recombination (i.e., 1.5 x 106 s(-1)) dynamics reveal a notable stabilization of the radical ion pair product in dimethylformamide. 相似文献

A MHC6 complex of a platinum group metal with a capped octahedral arrangement of donor atoms around the metal center has been characterized. This osmium compound OsH{κ2‐C,C‐(PhBIm‐C6H4)}3, which reacts with HBF4 to afford the 14 e? species [Os{κ2‐C,C‐(PhBIm‐C6H4)}(Ph2BIm)2]BF4 stabilized by two agostic interactions, has been obtained by reaction of OsH6(PiPr3)2 with N,N′‐diphenylbenzimidazolium chloride ([Ph2BImH]Cl) in the presence of NEt3. Its formation takes place through the C,C,C‐pincer compound OsH2{κ3‐C,C,C‐(C6H4‐BIm‐C6H4)}(PiPr3)2, the dihydrogen derivative OsCl{κ2‐C,C‐(PhBIm‐C6H4)}(η2‐H2)(PiPr3)2, and the five‐coordinate osmium(II) species OsCl{κ2‐C,C‐(PhBIm‐C6H4)}(PiPr3)2. 相似文献

The effect of urea and sodium salts of monovalent halides on the aqueous polyethyleneglycol solution and binodal diagrams of polyethyleneglycol–potassium phosphate (polyethyleneglycol of molecular mass 1500, 4000, 6000 and 8000) were studied using different physical approaches. The effect of these solutes on the binodal diagram for polyethyleneglycol–potassium phosphate was also investigated. The cosolutes affected in a significant manner the water structured around the ethylene chain of polyethyleneglycol inducing a lost of this. The equilibrium curves for the aqueous two-phase systems were fitting very well by a sigmoidal function with two parameters, which are closely related with the cosolute structure making or breaking capacity on the water ordered. 相似文献
