The reaction of the oxygen-bridged frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) tBu2P−O−Si(C2F5)3 ( 1 ) and tBu2P−O−AlBis2 ( 2 ) with azobenzene, promoted by UV irradiation, led to a selective complexation of the cis-isomer. The addition product of 2 is stable, while the adduct of 1 isomerizes in solution in an ortho-benzidine-like [3,3]-rearrangement by cleavage of the N−N bond, saturation of the nitrogen atoms with hydrogen atoms and formation of a new bond between two phenyl ortho-carbon atoms. Similar rearrangements take place with different para-substituted azobenzenes (R=Me, OMe, Cl) and di(2-naphthyl)diazene, while ortho-methylated azo compounds do not form adducts with 1 . All adducts were characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and elemental analyses and the mechanism of the rearrangement was explored by quantum-chemical calculations. 相似文献

Monoterpene indole alkaloids (MIAs) are endowed with high structural and spatial complexity and characterized by diverse biological activities. Given this complexity-activity combination in MIAs, rapid and efficient access to chemical matter related to and with complexity similar to these alkaloids would be highly desirable, since such compound classes might display novel bioactivity. We describe the design and synthesis of a pseudo-natural product (pseudo-NP) collection obtained by the unprecedented combination of MIA fragments through complexity-generating transformations, resulting in arrangements not currently accessible by biosynthetic pathways. Cheminformatic analyses revealed that both the pseudo-NPs and the MIAs reside in a unique and common area of chemical space with high spatial complexity-density that is only sparsely populated by other natural products and drugs. Investigation of bioactivity guided by morphological profiling identified pseudo-NPs that inhibit DNA synthesis and modulate tubulin. These results demonstrate that the pseudo-NP collection occupies similar biologically relevant chemical space that Nature has endowed MIAs with. 相似文献

polysilsesquioxane when it is hydrolyzed and subsequently subjected to a condensation reaction at elevated temperatures (>160 °C).
If this process is performed without sodium hypophosphite (SHP), a hard solid material is obtained. In contrast, the condensation
reaction of TESP-SA in conjunction with SHP results in the formation of a foamed, brittle material with closed macro cells.
The foam was characterized by means of various analytical methods (FT-IR, 29Si MAS NMR, XRD, TG-MS, SEM).

The coupling of an enzymatic transformation with dynamic host-guest exchange allows the unselective binding of macrocycles to be used for highly selective analyte sensing. The resulting supramolecular tandem enzyme assays require the enzymatic substrate and its corresponding product to differ significantly in their affinity for macrocycles, for example, cation receptors, and to show a differential propensity to displace a fluorescent dye from its host-guest complex. The enzymatic transformation results in a concomitant dye displacement that can be accurately followed by optical spectroscopy, specifically fluorescence. By exploiting this label-free continuous enzyme assay principle with the fluorescent dye Dapoxyl and the macrocyclic host cucurbit[7]uril, a multiparameter sensor array has been designed, which is capable of detecting the presence of amino acids (e.g. histidine, arginine, lysine, and tyrosine) and their decarboxylases. Only in the presence of both, the particular amino acid and the corresponding decarboxylase, is the amine or diamine product formed. These products are more highly positively charged than the substrate, have a higher affinity for the macrocycle and, therefore, displace the dye from the complex. The extension of the high selectivity and muM sensitivity of the tandem assay principle has also allowed for the accurate measurement of D-lysine enantiomeric excesses of up to 99.98 %, as only the L-enantiomer is accepted by the enzyme as a substrate and is converted to the product that is responsible for the observed fluorescence signal. 相似文献

We introduce guanidinium-containing synthetic polymers based on polyguanidino-oxanorbornenes (PGONs) as anion transporters in lipid bilayers that can be activated and inactivated by chemical stimulation. According to fluorogenic anion export experiments with vesicles, PGON transporters are most active in neutral bilayers near their phase transition, with EC50's in the nanomolar range. Six times higher effective transporter concentrations were measured with aminonaphthalene-1,3,6-trisulfonate than with 5(6)-carboxyfluorescein, demonstrating the importance of anion binding for transport and excluding nonspecific efflux. Negative surface potentials efficiently annihilate transport activity, while inside-negative membrane potentials slightly increase it. These trends demonstrate the functional importance of counterions to hinder the binding of hydrophilic counterions and to minimize the global positive charge of the transporter-counterion complexes. Strong, nonlinear increases in activity with polymer length reveal a significant polymer effect. Overall, the characteristics of PGONs do not match those of similar systems (for example, polyarginine) and hint toward an interesting mode of action, clearly different from nonspecific leakage caused by detergents. The activity of PGONs increases in the presence of amphiphilic anions such as pyrenebutyrate (EC50 = 70 microM), while several other amphiphilic anions tested were inactive. PGONs are efficiently inactivated by numerous hydrophilic anions including ATP (IC 50 = 150 microM), ADP (IC50 = 460 microM), heparin (IC50 = 1.0 microM), phytate (IC50 = 0.4 microM), and CB hydrazide (IC50 = 26 microM). The compatibility of this broad responsiveness with multicomponent sensing in complex matrices is discussed and illustrated with lactate sensing in sour milk. The PGON lactate sensor operates together with lactate oxidase as a specific signal generator and CB hydrazide as an amplifier for covalent capture of the pyruvate product as CB hydrazone (IC50 = 1.5 microM). 相似文献

Cyanoborane adducts of the Lewis acids B(CN)3, BF(CN)2, and BH(CN)2 with pyridine and 4-cyanopyridine have been obtained in high yields. The syntheses were accomplished by oxidation of the readily available potassium salts of the cyano(hydrido)borate anions [BH(CN)3]− ( MHB ), [BFH(CN)2]− ( FHB ), and [BH2(CN)2]− ( DHB ) with bromine in the presence of the respective pyridine derivative C5H5N or 4-CN-C5H4N as starting material. All six cyanoborane adducts have been characterized by NMR and vibrational spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reduction of the cyanoborane adducts has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and the Lewis acidity of the different cyanoboranes has been assessed using the Gutmann-Beckett method. Tris(pentafluoroethyl)silane, which is conveniently accessible by the treatment of Si(C2F5)3X (X=Cl, Br) with Bu3SnH, was successfully employed for hydrosilylation reactions. In the presence of a palladium catalyst, hydrosilylation of phenylacetylene with Si(C2F5)3H affords the product of an α‐addition whereas the reaction of trimethylsilylacetylene with the silane leads to the β‐trans product. Tris(pentafluoroethyl)silane can be deprotonated by sterically demanding bases such as lithium diisopropylamide at low temperatures to give the corresponding silanide ion. The addition of crown ethers or cryptands to this highly reactive species enabled the isolation and characterization of salt‐like tris(pentafluoroethyl)silanide at room temperature. 相似文献

Heteroporphyrin and -phthalocyanine arrays represent an attractive class of light harvesters and charge-separation systems exhibiting an easy route of synthesis and high chemical stability. In the present work, we report the results of photophysical investigations of two novel non-sandwich-type porphyrin-phthalocyanine heterotriads, in which two meso-tetraphenylporphyrin rings (H2TPP or ZnTPP) are linked to the central silicon atom of a silicon(IV) phthalocyanine core. It was found that the photophysical properties of the triads (H2Tr and ZnTr) in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and toluene are strongly affected by two different types of interaction between the porphyrin (P) and the phthalocyanine (Pc) parts, namely excitation energy transfer (EET) and photoinduced charge transfer. The first process results in appearance of the Pc fluorescence when the P-part is initially excited, and plays a dominant role in fast depopulation of the first excited singlet state of the P moiety. If the first excited singlet state of the Pc-part is populated (either directly or via EET), it undergoes fast depopulation by hole transfer (HT) to the charge-separated (CS) state. In polar DMF, the CS state is the lowest excited state, and the charge recombination occurs directly to the ground state. Using transient absorption spectroscopy, the lifetime of the CS state was estimated to be 30 and 20 ps for H2Tr and ZnTr, respectively. In nonpolar toluene, the energy gap between the first excited singlet state of the Pc-part and the CS state is very small, and back HT occurs in both triads, resulting in appearance of "delayed fluorescence" of the Pc-part with a decay time similar to the lifetime of the CS state (190 and 280 ps for H2Tr and ZnTr, respectively). Since the energy of the CS state of ZnTr in toluene is lower than that of H2Tr, the probability of back HT for ZnTr is lower. This was clearly proved by decay-associated fluorescence spectral measurements. 相似文献
