This paper is concerned with the optimization of base load production of a real world storage power station system. Both mathematical models and numerical techniques are presented. Dynamic Programming is used for the numerical solution. A sensitivity analysis of the results is made and a discussion of the profit of the power plant company is given.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is two-fold: First we describe a certain class of strictly positive, continuous functions u:I defined on certain intervals I]0,+[, and demonstrate that each function u of this class permits the definition of an associated mean Mu (a1,...,an) for any finite number a1,...,an of numbers in I. The arithmetic and the geometric mean are special cases of these u-means Mu. -Thereafter, we improve the classical inequality between the geometric and the arithmetic mean and derive from it a corresponding inequality between certain u-means and the arithmetic mean.  相似文献

The reaction of pyridine 1-oxide with 1-adamantanethiol in acetic anhydride produced a mixture of 2- and 3-(1-adamantanethio)pyridines, 1-aeetyl-2-(1-adamantanethio)-3-hydroxy-4-acetoxy-1,2,3,4-telrahydropyridine and the corresponding 3-acetoxyderivative. Pure substances were separated by means of column chromatography on alumina. The tetrahydropyridines were identified by means of their proton magnetic and mass spectra. 4-(1-Adamantanethio)pyridine was synthesized from 4-chloropyridinc and 1-adamantanethiol. The three isomeric (1-adamantanethio)-pyridines were, each, cleaved by concentrated hydrochloric acid to give 1-chloroadamantane and the corresponding pyridinethiol.  相似文献

The hydrogen-deuterium exchange of H-2 in 4-pyrimidone, a number of 1- and 3-alkyl-4-pyrimidones and several of their thione analogs in deuterium oxide at moderate temperatures is reported. This reaction is apparently not susceptible to acid or base catalysis. Cations of the 4-pyrimidones were found not to exchange H-2 at all in acid media. Catalytic amounts of bases do not alter the exchange rates whereas more concentrated alkali decompose the pyrimidone. However, 1,4(3,4)-dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-4-oxopyrimidinium iodide (and its 6-methyl analog) exchange H-2 quite rapidly in neutral deuterium oxide, almost instantly when triethylamine is added as a catalyst, and very slowly in dilute solutions of deuterium chloride in deuterium oxide. Mechanisms are proposed to account for these phenomena.  相似文献

Mit dieser Beziehung ist es prinzipiell möglich, auch bei nicht vollständiger Orientierung der Moleküle eine genaue Bestimmung der Richtung von Übergangsmomenten vorzunehmen.
Determination of the direction of transition moments on oblong molecules by measurement of infrared dichroism, I
A general relation between dichroic ratio, degree of orientation and the angle between direction of transition moment and longitudinal axis of the molecule is derived. By this relation it will be possible in prineiple to determine exactly the direction of transition moments even when the molecules of the sample are only partially oriented.

Irradiation in the n→π* absorption band of the α,β-unsaturated γ,δ-epoxyketone 5 in ethanol at ?65° exclusively afforded the rearranged ene-dione 13 , whereas at + 24° under otherwise unchanged reaction conditions or upon triplet sensitization with Michler's ketone and with acetophenone at + 24° essentially identical mixtures of 13 (major product), 14 , and 15 were obtained. Selective π→π* excitation of 5 at ?78° and + 24° led to similar product patterns. The 9β,10β-epimeric epoxyketone 7 selectively isomerized to 14 and 15 at + 24° and n → π* or π → π* excitation. Neither the epoxyketones 5 and 7 nor the photoproducts 13–15 were photochemically interconverted. In separate photolyses each of the latter gave the double bond isomers 16 , 18 , and 19 , respectively. Cleavage of 13 to the dienone aldehyde 17 competed with the double bond shift ( → 16 ) when photolyzed in alcoholic solvents instead of benzene. The selective transformations 5 → 13 (at ?65° and n → π* excitation) and 7 → 14 + 15 are attributed to stereoelectronic factors facilitating the skeletal rearrangements of the diradicals 53 and 55 , the likely primary photoproducts resulting from epoxide cleavage in the triplet-excited compounds 5 and 7 , via the transition states 54 , 56 , and 57 . The loss of selectivity in product formation from 5 at higher temperature and n → π* excitation or triplet sensitization is explicable in terms of radical dissociation into 58 and 59 increasingly participating at the secondary thermal transformations of 53 . The similar effect of π → π* excitation even at ?78° indicates that some of the π,π* singlet energy may become available as thermal activation energy. It is further suggested that the considerably lesser ring strain in 14 and 15 , as compared with 13 , is responsible that selectivity in product formation from 7 is maintained also at +24° and at π → π* excitation.  相似文献
