Heteropolyacid anchored on SBA-15 functionalized with 2-aminoethyl dihydrogen phosphate (SBA-15@AEPH2-HPA) was synthesized as a novel and highly efficient heterogeneous mesoporous catalyst. Characterization of the as-synthesized catalyst was successfully performed using various techniques such as FT-IR, BET, small-angle XRD, SEM, EDX, TEM, TGA, ICP-OES and elemental analysis. The new catalyst revealed a superb catalytic activity towards the one-pot synthesis of a wide verity of trisubstituted 1,3-thiazole derivatives. This protocol involved the three-component reactions of arylglyoxals, cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyls and thioamides under mild reaction conditions. Surprisingly, the current methodology is far superior to the only literature precedent used in this regard. The most promising features which highlight the presented approach are: furnishing a very important class of pharmaceutically and biologically active 1,3-thiazoles in excellent yields within short reaction times, mildness of the reaction conditions, using water as the reaction media and facile catalyst reusability for at least nine successive runs without any appreciable loss of its activity. Importantly, the small-angle XRD analysis and TEM images of the 9th recovered catalyst clearly proved the privileged durability and stability of the introduced catalytic system, under the applied reaction condition.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem on minimizing sums of the largest eigenvalues of a symmetric matrix which depends on the decision variable affinely. An important application of this problem is the graph partitioning problem, which arises in layout of circuit boards, computer logic partitioning, and paging of computer programs. Given 0, we first derive an optimality condition which ensures that the objective function is within error bound of the solution. This condition may be used as a practical stopping criterion for any algorithm solving the underlying problem. We also show that, in a neighborhood of the minimizer, the optimization problem can be equivalently formulated as a smooth constrained problem. An existing algorithm on minimizing the largest eigenvalue of a symmetric matrix is shown to be applicable here. This algoritm enjoys the property that if started close enough to the minimizer, then it will converge quadratically. To implement a practical algorithm, one needs to incorporate some technique to generate a good starting point. Since the problem is convex, this can be done by using an algorithm for general convex optimization problems (e.g., Kelley's cutting plane method or ellipsoid methods), or an algorithm specific for the optimization problem under consideration (e.g., the algorithm developed by Cullum, Donath, and Wolfe). Such union ensures that the overall algorithm has global convergence with quadratic rate. Finally, the results presented in this paper are readily extended on minimizing sums of the largest eigenvalues of a Hermitian matrix.Some of results in this paper were given in [19] without proofs.  相似文献

Lanthanum (La) supported on tin oxide‐titanium oxide (SnO2‐TiO2 ) nanoparticles were prepared by a sol–gel method followed by a hydrothermal method. Effect of different solvents (ethyl acetate, benzyl alcohol, ethylene glycol) on the particle size and catalytic activity was investigated. The nanomaterial was characterized by transmission electron microscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and energy dispersive X‐ray. The catalytic and optical properties were studied using solid‐phase spectrophotometry and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy, respectively. Gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) was used to detect the intermediates during the catalytic degradation of methylene blue. It was observed that with decrease in the dielectric constant (ε) of the solvent, the bandgap and particle size decrease and catalytic efficiency increases. Hence, the highest catalytic activity was observed with the solvent having the least dielectric constant.  相似文献

Chronic periodontitis and diabetes mellitus share a two-way relationship, the common factor being the inflammatory-mediated pathway, and various cytokines are released during this inflammatory cascade, one of which being matrix metalloproteinase-9. The aim of this study was to identify whether the levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 are increased due to type-II diabetes mellitus in chronic periodontitis patients. It was an observational, analytical, case-control study. Thirty subjects were recruited in the test group, who were suffering from type-II diabetes mellitus and chronic periodontitis, and 30 subjects in the control group, who were subjects with chronic periodontitis but systemically healthy. Periodontal parameters, including the plaque score, gingival bleeding index, probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level of the subjects, were measured, saliva samples of all of the subjects were collected and salivary matrix metalloproteinase-9 levels were analyzed by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. The statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 24. Overall, the matrix metalloproteinase-9 levels of the diabetic patients with chronic periodontitis were increased almost twofold (156.95 ± 29.80 ng/mL) compared to the levels in the controls (74.96 ± 6.32 ng/mL) (p < 0.001). Similarly, the periodontal parameters were far worse in diabetics with chronic periodontitis compared to the controls. The average gingivitis score for the test subjects was 78.45 ± 8.93%), compared to 29.32 ± 12.96% in the controls (p < 0.001). The mean probing pocket depth for the test group was 5.39 ± 0.60 mm, and, for the control group, it was 4.35 ± 0.31 mm (p < 0.001). For the test subjects, the average clinical attachment level was 5.86 ± 0.58 mm, and it was 4.66 ± 0.32 mm for the controls (p < 0.001). It was ascertained that there is a two-fold increase in the levels of salivary matrix metalloproteinase-9 in the test group compared to the control group. In addition, the level of periodontal apparatus destruction was greater in the test group. This proved that type-II diabetes mellitus influences the levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 in humans and elevates them, causing further periodontal destruction.  相似文献

In this study, a series of new bispyrazolines 8 ( a – f ) have been prepared from the cyclization reactions of bischalcones 7 ( a – f ) with phenyl hydrazine by refluxing under the alkaline alcoholic (KOH/EtOH) conditions. The O‐alkylation reactions of hydroxyl substituted chalcone 6 with different 1,ω‐dibromoalkanes in the presence of anhydrous potassium carbonate, tetrabutylammonium iodide, and dry acetone afforded the symmetrical new bischalcones 7 ( a – f ) in good yields. Chalcone 6 was realized by using the Claisen–Schmidt reaction of m‐hydroxyacetophenone with bipheny‐4‐carboxaldehyde. The various spectroscopic parameters such as IR, 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, and ESI‐MS have been thoroughly used for the structural interpretations of the newly prepared products. The in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activities of these compounds have been examined with the help of serial tube dilution method, and many of the tested products were found to be revealing the promising antimicrobial properties, which were evident from their minimum inhibitory concentration values. The molecular docking simulations of the synthesized substances have also been achieved to observe the structural association into the active site of the Escherichia coli FabH (PdB: 3IL9). Docking results of these compounds suggested that bispyrazoline 8b demonstrated the lowest binding energy that describes its higher stability into the pocket of E. coli. The excellent inhibitory activity of this bisheterocycle against E. coli FabH may be ascribed on the basis of hydrophobic and van der Waals interactions.  相似文献

Bilayer CeO2/TiO2 films with high-k dielectric property were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering technique at room temperature. Effect of annealing treatment on resistive switching (RS) properties of bilayer CeO2/TiO2 films in O2 ambient at different temperature in the range of 350–550 °C was investigated. Our results revealed that the bilayer films had good interfacial property at 500 °C and this annealing temperature is optimum for different RS characteristics. Results showed that bilayer CeO2/TiO2 film perform better uniformity and reliability in resistive switching at intermediate temperature (i.e. 450 °C and 500 °C) instead of low and high annealing temperature (i.e. 350 °C and 550 °C) at which it exhibits poor crystalline structure with more amorphous background. Less Gibbs free energy of TiO2 as compared to CeO2 results in an easier re-oxidation of the filament through the oxygen exchange with TaN electrode. However, the excellent endurance property (>2500 cycles), data retentions (105 s) and good cycle-to-cycle uniformity is observed only in 500 °C annealed devices. The plots of cumulative probability, essential memory parameter, show a good distribution of Set/Reset voltage.  相似文献

Protein scarcity is the most vital cause of long-lasting diseases and even untimely deaths in some developing nations. The application of protein in food is advantageous from the point of view of non-toxicity, biocompatibility, and dietary benefits. This study aimed to determine the protein contents of the sprouts of Vigna radiates (mung beans), Lens culinaris (lentils), and Cicer arietinum (chickpeas) using the Kjeldahl and Lowry methods. The results obtained from the Kjeldahl method identified protein concentrations of 2.54, 2.63, and 2.19%, whereas the Lowry method results identified protein concentrations of 2.96%, 4.10%, and 1.6% in mung beans, lentils, and chickpeas, respectively. In both the methods, lentils were found to have the highest amount of protein followed by mung beans and chickpeas. Both the Kjeldahl and Lowry methods demonstrated good protein values and low variation in the protein amount in the analyzed samples. Furthermore, the methods had greater sensitivity and comparable experimental variability. The outcomes revealed that assays can be applied for protein analysis in legumes. In the context of a lack of suitable standard procedures for evaluating legumes’ compositions, the present study is suitable for food control laboratories. In addition, the studied samples represent a significant source of protein and can be used to fulfil the daily requirements for protein intake and other food applications.  相似文献

We confined the formation and characterization of heterogenous nano-catalysts and then used them to produce biodiesel from the novel non-edible seed oil of Prunus aitchisonii. P. aitchisonii seeds’ oil content was extracted at about 52.4 ± 3% with 0.77% FFA. Three different heterogenous nano-catalysts—calcined (CPC), KPC, and KOH-activated P. aitchisonii cake Titanium Dioxide (TiO2)—were synthesized using calcination and precipitation methods. The mentioned catalysts were characterized through XRD, SEM, and EDX to inspect their crystallin dimension, shape, and arrangement. Titanium dioxide has morphological dimensions so that the average particle size ranges from 49–60 nm. The result shows that the crystal structure of TiO2 is tetragonal (Anatase). The surface morphology of CPC illustrated that the roughness of the surface was increased after calcination, many macropores and hollow cavities appeared, and the external structure became very porous. These changes in morphology may increase the catalytic efficiency of CPC than non-calcined Prunus aitchisonii oil cake. The fuel belonging to PAOB stood according to the series suggested by ASTM criteria. All the characterization reports that P. aitchisonii is a novel and efficient potential source of biodiesel as a green energy source.  相似文献
