The direct Bargellini condensation of coumarins involving reaction with chloroform and acetone in the presence of aqueous sodium hydroxide furnished o-carboxyvinylphenoxyisobutyric acids in good yields. The utility of this new useful protocol was demonstrated by the transformation of the three diesters 9b, 9f and 9g to the sesquiterpenes helianane 4, heliannuol A 2 and heliannuol C 3, respectively.  相似文献

Three new dinuclear Zn(II) complexes [Zn(L)(μ1,1-N3)Zn(L)(N3)] · 1.5H2O (1), [Zn(L)(μ1,1-NCO)Zn(L)(NCO)] · 1.5H2O (2) and [Zn(L)(μ1,1-NCS)Zn(L)(NCS)(OH2)] (3) have been synthesized from a potentially tetradentate N2O2-donor Schiff base ligand LH, [LH = (OCH3)(OH)C6H3CHN(CH2)2N(CH3)2], which is the condensation product of o-vanillin and 2-dimethylaminoethylamine. All the three complexes 1, 2 and 3 have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, TGA and fluorescence studies. Finally, their structures have been established by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. Structural studies reveal that in complexes 1, 2 and 3 the two Zn(II) centers are held together by a μ2-phenolato oxygen atom and also by an end-on pseudohalide nitrogen (azide for 1; cyanate for 2; thiocyanate for 3) atom. Among the two deprotonated Schiff base ligands present in each complex, one acts as a tetradentate ligand (N2O2 donor set) while the other acts as a tridentate ligand (N2O donor set), having a non-coordinated methoxy group. All the synthesized complexes display intraligand 1(π–π) fluorescence and can potentially serve as photoactive materials.  相似文献

Simultaneous incorporation of both CoII and CoIII ions within a new thioether S‐bearing phenol‐based ligand system, H3L (2,6‐bis‐[{2‐(2‐hydroxyethylthio)ethylimino}methyl]‐4‐methylphenol) formed [Co5] aggregates [CoIICoIII4L2(μ‐OH)2(μ1,3‐O2CCH3)2](ClO4)4?H2O ( 1 ) and [CoIICoIII4L2(μ‐OH)2(μ1,3‐O2CC2H5)2](ClO4)4?H2O ( 2 ). The magnetic studies revealed axial zero‐field splitting (ZFS) parameter, D/hc=?23.6 and ?24.3 cm?1, and E/D=0.03 and 0.00, respectively for 1 and 2 . Dynamic magnetic data confirmed the complexes as SIMs with Ueff/kB=30 K ( 1 ) and 33 K ( 2 ), and τ0=9.1×10?8 s ( 1 ), and 4.3×10?8 s ( 2 ). The larger atomic radius of S compared to N gave rise to less variation in the distortion of tetrahedral geometry around central CoII centers, thus affecting the D and Ueff/kB values. Theoretical studies also support the experimental findings and reveal the origin of the anisotropy parameters. In solutions, both 1 and 2 which produce {CoIII2(μ‐L)} units, display solvent‐dependent catechol oxidation behavior toward 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol in air. The presence of an adjacent CoIII ion tends to assist the electron transfer from the substrate to the metal ion center, enhancing the catalytic oxidation rate.  相似文献

A thin viscous liquid film flow is developed over a stretching sheet under different nonlinear stretching velocities. An evolution equation for the film thickness, is derived using long-wave approximation of thin liquid film and is solved numerically by using the Newton–Kantorovich method. A comparison is made with the analytic solution obtained in [B. S. Dandapat, A. Kitamura, B. Santra, “Transient film profile of thin liquid film flow on a stretching surface”, ZAMP, 57, 623-635 (2006)]. It is observed that all types of stretching produce film thinning but non-monotonic stretching produces faster thinning at small distance from the origin. The velocity u along the stretching direction strongly depends on the distance along the stretching direction and the Froude number.  相似文献

The isothermal phase diagram of the quaternary system polyoxyethylene(10) stearyl ether (Brij-76)/1-butanol/isooctane/water has been constructed at 30 degrees C with equal amounts of oil and water. A regular fishtail diagram was obtained, confirming the establishment of hydrophile-lipophile balance (HLB) in the system. Mixing of formamide (FA) [or N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF)] with water as a cosolvent altered the HLB and decreased the solubilization capacity of the quaternary system. No three-phase body appeared at high FA or DMF content. Similar observations were noted for temperature-induced phase diagrams. The effect of DMF was more pronounced than that of FA in reducing the maximum solubilization capacity. The results have been summarized on the basis of HLB and mutual solubility of the components.  相似文献

The structure of polymeric carbon dioxide (CO2-V) has been solved using synchrotron x-ray powder diffraction, and its evolution followed from 8 to 65 GPa. We compare the experimental results obtained for a 100% CO2 sample and a 1 mol?% CO2/He sample. The latter allows us to produce the polymer in a pure form and study its compressibility under hydrostatic conditions. The high quality of the x-ray data enables us to solve the structure directly from experiments. The latter is isomorphic to the β-cristobalite phase of SiO2 with the space group I42d. Carbon and oxygen atoms are arranged in CO4 tetrahedral units linked by oxygen atoms at the corners. The bulk modulus determined under hydrostatic conditions, B0=136(10) GPa, is much smaller than previously reported. The comparison of our experimental findings with theoretical calculations performed in the present and previous studies shows that density functional theory very well describes polymeric CO2.  相似文献

This paper presents a 10-step synthetic route for the preparation of a series of new back-to-back coupled 2,6-bis(pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine (bpp) ligands (L0-L3) decorated with tetraoctyl chains. Ligand L1 self-assembles with Zn(2+) ion to form a highly soluble metallo-supramolecular polymer 1 with M(n) ~ 9600 g/mol. To demonstrate the processability of polymer 1, by following a "top-down" approach periodic one-dimensional fluorescent microstripes were fabricated on a silica substrate.  相似文献
