Themain goal of ourwork is to showthat there exists a class of 2×2 Riemann problems for which the solution comprises a singlewave group for an open set of initial conditions. This wave group comprises a 1-rarefaction joined to a 2-rarefaction, not by an intermediate state, but by a doubly characteristic shock, 1-left and 2-right characteristic. In order to ensure that perturbations of initial conditions do not destroy the adjacency of the waves, local transversality between a composite curve foliation and a rarefaction curve foliation is necessary.  相似文献

The antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of petroleum ether and methanol extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters from leaves of Smilax brasiliensis were evaluated, and the composition of the extracts was determined. Palmitic, linoleic and linolenic acids were major components of the extracts. For antioxidant activity, all samples exhibited IC50 values lower than BHT (2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol). The extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters from S. brasiliensis presented no toxicity to larvae of the brine shrimp, Artemia salina. Among the purified substances, only methyl linolenate showed toxicity (LD50 = 21.47 μg/mL). This study showed, for the first time, the composition of petroleum ether and methanol extracts from S. brasiliensis leaves, as well as the antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters.  相似文献

This study reports the chemical composition of five types of industrial frozen fruit pulps (acerola, cashew, grape, passion fruit and pineapple fruit pulps) and compares them with homemade pulps at two different stages of ripening. The fruit pulps were characterized by analyzing their metabolic profiles and determining their ethanol content using quantitative Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (qNMR). In addition, principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to extract more information from the NMR data. We detected ethanol in all industrial and homemade pulps; and acetic acid in cashew, grape and passion fruit industrial and homemade pulps. The ethanol content in some industrial pulps is above the level recommended by regulatory agencies and is near the levels of some post‐ripened homemade pulps. This study demonstrates that qNMR can be used to rapidly detect ethanol content in frozen fruit pulps and food derivatives. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Vegetable oils with variable proportions of oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids are more susceptible to oxidative processes. In this subject, this study evaluates the physical chemical properties and oxidative stability of non-conventional oils such as andiroba, babassu, sesame, oiticica, jatropha, and grape through accelerated oxidation techniques (pressurized differential scanning calorimetry, Rancimat and PetroOxy). It was verified that babassu and andiroba oil do not showed detectable induction period presenting high oxidative stability; moreover, it was observed that the enthalpic events occurred in 1.19, >10, 0.53, 0.49, 0.49, and 0.60 h for the andiroba oil, babassu oil, sesame seeds, jatropha, oiticica oils, and grapes, respectively, stimulating the conclusion of greater stability for the babassu oil.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the problem of establishing a dynamic charging schedule of electric vehicles (EVs) at a charging station, assuming that limited power implies that only a limited number of EVs can charge simultaneously. The only control we assume to be available to the charging station is the ability to (at any given time) turn on or off the power supply to any EV, with this tool we want to develop a charging schedule that will satisfy the energy demands of the EVs in their intended deadlines. We propose two distinct approaches to this problem: a discretized time version, based on a greedy-like algorithm, and a continuous time version, based on linear programming. We compare these two approaches and numerically study the improvement they yield in the efficiency of the charging procedure, when applied to simulated data based on real parking data. Finally, we illustrate the flexibility of the models by sketching several possible extensions.  相似文献

MOF-235 is presented as an orange powder, with crystals of the octahedral formation. It was already used as adsorbent to remove different compounds from water; however, no attempts have been published about the exploration of the MOF-235 application as electrochemical sensor for organic compounds yet. MOF-235 was synthetized and after that, it was characterized by SEM, XRD and FTIR. Graphite electrodes (GEs) were modified with different MOF-235 ratio (5 %, 7 %, 10 %, 12 % and 14 %) and these modified GEs were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurements in order to determine the effect of MOF-235 concentration on the current response. Results indicated that, a significant improvement on the current response was attained at MOF-235(10 %)/GE respect to unmodified GE. This behavior is related to the pore structure and multiple active sites on the MOF surface. The performance of the MOF-235(10 %)/GE as electrochemical sensor for detecting catechol was assessed by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Catechol detection response of MOF-based sensor provided a detection limit of about 12.79 μmol L−1 with a correlation coefficient (R2) of about 0.9928 ranging from 12 to 514 μmol L−1. Finally, MOF-235(10 %)/GE was used to determine catechol in real water matrixes.  相似文献

The effect of repeated loading from mechanically simulated hull slamming on foam core sandwich composites was investigated utilizing a novel technique that simultaneously measured temperature and displacement while cyclic loading occurred. Thermoelastic Stress Analysis (TSA) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) techniques were combined using a single infrared camera for characterization of the foam core. Improved stress fields with TSA results were found through deformation compensation. Initial work approximating hull slamming conditions mechanically utilizing a custom device were performed. Mechanically loading offers several benefits over water impact investigations, including easy access to the sample during the slamming event, an unobstructed optical path, and accelerated testing. Evolving stress fields under long-duration, repeated simulated hull slamming loading were observed around a growing delamination crack between the foam core and skin.  相似文献
