This review paper covers the low temperature wet growth of nano-engineered particles of ZnO-based mixed metal oxides, their growth mechanism, and characterization using X-ray diffraction, SEM, TEM and IR, UV–visible, and XPS spectral techniques. Main focus of this article is centered on low temperature semi-wet methods of synthesis that are suitable for large scale production of zinc oxide-based systems mixed with iron oxide, copper oxide, nickel oxide and cobalt oxide. These mixed metal oxides have broad industrial applications as catalyst, semiconductors, adsorbents, superconductors, electro-ceramics, and antifungal agents in addition to extensive applications in medicines. This paper discusses the low-cost and environment friendly synthesis of these mixed metal oxides, measurement of properties and applicability of these materials systems.  相似文献

The class of quantum languages Q() over an alphabet is the class of languages accepted by quantum automata. We study properties of Q() and compare Q() with the class of regular languages R(). It is shown that Q() is closed under union, intersection, and reversal but is not closed under complementation, concatenation, or Kleene star. It is also shown that Q() and R() are incomparable. Finally, we prove that L Q() if and only if L admits a transition amplitude function satisfying a certain property and a similar characterization is given for R().  相似文献

The double spin asymmetry in the (-->)e(-->)p --> e(prime)pi(+)n reaction has been measured for the first time in the resonance region for four-momentum transfer Q2 = 0.35-1.5 GeV(2). Data were taken at Jefferson Lab with the CLAS detector using a 2.6 GeV polarized electron beam incident on a polarized solid NH3 target. Comparison with predictions of phenomenological models shows strong sensitivity to resonance contributions. Helicity-1/2 transitions are found to be dominant in the second and third resonance regions. The measured asymmetry is consistent with a faster rise with Q(2) of the helicity asymmetry A1 for the F(15)(1680) resonance than expected from the analysis of the unpolarized data.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the mixed sensitivity H design in the most general, i.e., the four-block, case. This problem involves in a crucial manner the so-called four-block operator Γ, the norm of which is the achievable feedback tolerance. Our objective in this paper is to provide an interpretation for all singular values of Γ. These singular values are given an Adamjan-Arov-Krein interpretation in terms of the L distance of an L function to H(l). Intuitively, the singular values of Γ are the various tolerance levels that can be achieved if we allow a various number of unstable poles in the closed loop. We finally provide an upper bound on the number of singular values.  相似文献

Summary A small experiment, ?MiniMax?, has been set up in the C0 intersection region of the Fermilab Tevatron to seek evidence for disoriented chiral condensates and to study other forward physics phenomena. The experiment consists of a proportional wire chamber telescope accompanied by scintillation (trigger) counters, a lead converter, and followed by an electromagnetic calorimeter. The solid angle accepted is a cone centered at pseudorapidity (η) of 4.1 and of radius (in η-ϕ space) of about 0.6. Over 2.5 million events thus far have demonstrated the successful operation of the apparatus, however to date the analysis has not progressed sufficiently to permit any conclusions concerning disoriented chiral condensates. presented byL.
