Crystal Structure of N-(tert-Butyl)-1-(3,5-dioxo-2-phenyltetrahydro-4-isoxazolyl)cyclohexane Carboxamide

Abstract  The crystal structure of N-(tert-butyl)-1-(3,5-dioxo-2-phenyltetrahydro-4-isoxazolyl)-cyclohexane-carboxamide 1 has been determined. The title compound crystallized in the orthorhombic space group pbca with cell parameters, a = 10.6556(6) ?, b = 18.0132(11) ?, c = 19.5513(12) ?, v = 3752.7(4) ?³, Z = 8, D _cal = 1.269 Mg/m³ at T = 120 K. The structure refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to find R ₁ = 0.0463 and wR ₂ = 0.0937 for 3059 reflections. The soxazole ring isn’t coplanar with the phenyl ring. Analysis of Formal and Analytic Solutions for Singularities of the Vector Fractional Differential Equations

In this article,we study on the existence of solution for a singularities of a system of nonlinear fractional differential equations (FDE).We construct a formal power series solution for our considering FDE and prove convergence of formal solutions under conditions.We use the Caputo fractional differential operator and the nonlinearity depends on the fractional derivative of an unknown function.     

SYNTHESIS OF DIALKYL 2-(1-CYANO-2-OXO-1-PHENYL-ALKYL)-3-(TRIPHENYL-λ5-PHOSPHANYLIDENE)-SUCCINATES

3-Oxo-2-phenyl-butanenitrile or 3-oxo-2-phenyl-pentanenitrile undergo a smooth reaction with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of triphenylphosphine to produce highly-functionalized salt-free ylides in nearly quantitative yields. These stabilized phosphorus ylides exist as a mixture of two geometrical isomers as a result of restricted rotation around the carbon-carbon partial double bond resulting from conjugation of the ylide moiety with the adjacent carbonyl group.     

Comparison of Volatile Organic Compounds of Thymus Vulgaris Using Hydrodistillation and Headspace Solid Phase Microextraction Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry

Essential oil of aerial parts of Tymus vulgaris L. from Babaaman montains of Iran were isolated by hydrodistillation with an average oil yield 1.9 w/w%. The components of the oil were identified by gas chromatography mass spectrometry. On a separate experiments the compositions of volatile emission of the plant were studied by headspace solid phase microextraction and gas chromatography mass spectrometry. The tempratures used during the sample preparation were 25°C and 50°C. In order to determine the effect of solvent (water) on the separation, the experiments were done in the presence and absence of distilled water in the extraction vial at the tempratures mentioned above. Ten majour components were obtained in four different experimental headspace solid phase microextraction conditions and the hydrodistillation methods from the plant. Thymol was found to be the most abundant costituent (27.2–73.09%), follwoed by p‐cymene (6.86–31.76%), γ‐terpinene (1.02–9.26%), myrcene (0.05–8.84%), α‐pinene (0.25–6.63%), caryophyllene (3.09–5.56%), thymol methyl ether (0.99–2.97%), thymolacetate (0.11–2.05%), carvacrol (0.49–1.70%) and α‐cadinol (0.38–1.10%).     

Diastereoselective synthesis of 5-iminooxazolines and their subsequent transformation to α,α-disubstituted dipeptide esters: a formal [4+1] cycloaddition reaction of cyclohexyl isocyanide and Z-alkyl-α-benzoyl amino-acrylates

A novel atom economical diastereoselective synthesis of 5-iminooxazolines and their subsequent transformation to α,α-disubstituted dipeptide esters is described. Heating a mixture of cyclohexyl isocyanide and Z-α-benzoyl amino-acrylic acid alkyl esters under solvent-free conditions, afforded 5-iminooxazolines, which, upon specifications provided α,α-disubstituted dipeptide esters in good yield.

Summary. Alkyl isocyanides undergo a smooth reaction with alkylidene Meldrum’s acids in the presence of arylhydroxylamines to produce N ¹-alkyl-2-(3,5-dioxo-2-aryltetrahydro-4-isoxazolyl)alkanamides in high yields.

NHC-assisted Ni(II)-catalyzed acceptorless dehydrogenation of amines and secondary alcohols

A novel catalytic system including NiCl₂-NHC ligand precursor has been developed for the preparation of imines from amines and ketones from alcohols. Owing to the acceptorless dehydrogenation pathway for this reaction, the hydrogen gas is liberated as a by-product. The active catalyst is generated in situ by the reaction of nickel (II) chloride, bis (imidazolium) chlorides and potassium tert-butoxide. The products were obtained in good to excellent yields and a wide variety of amines and ketones were applied successfully in this protocol.     

Existence of Solution for a Coupled System of Fractional Integro-Differential Equations on an Unbounded Domain

We present the existence of solution for a coupled system of fractional integro-differential equations. The differential operator is taken in the Caputo fractional sense. We combine the diagonalization method with Arzela-Ascoli theorem to show a fixed point theorem of Schauder.
